The food was burnt and dry. Smothered with sauce to disguise the fact that it had been overcooked. Surprisingly, i couldn't be bothered to complain! I wrapped the food up and dumped it! Youngsters behind the counter chatted to themselves while customers were waiting. Customer service training wouldn't go amiss! The decor is bright & cheerful, Barbie pink to be precise! 😏 conveniently near the train station. However, food is very disappointing 😞

Ate from Archie's many times, from different branches Ordered several chicken deluxe burgers ans a superstar burger, also fies and curly fries Chicken burgers tasted lovely but for me like always it's all about the superstar burger. The smashed beef patties just literally melt in your mouth. 👌💯🔥🔥🔥 Ain't a fan of the normal fries but the curly ones are tasty Can get abit on the pricier side as have to buy everything individually to make it as a meal if you feeling that Lastly customer service isn't the best, in nearly every branch I been too, also here take forever to make your order

Absolutely vile food! Got the nashville chicken burger and it might have been the worst thing I have ever had. It had no flavour and it was so dry. You could tell the oil was not taken care of. Would not recommend at all. Waste of time and money🤮

Chicken tenders.. so so tender! I like to come with children as they like the food too! Sometimes wait time is longer but at least food is fresh :)

I recently visited Archie’s and had an incredibly disappointing experience. I had been looking forward to treating myself to an Oreo milkshake, but from the moment I walked in, things went downhill. The staff member behind the counter, a Black woman, seemed disinterested and almost dismissive. I tried to be friendly, but her response was cold and unwelcoming. It didn’t feel like I was being treated as a customer, more like an inconvenience. I ordered a classic Oreo milkshake, and when it arrived, I quickly realized it was not what I had asked for. Instead of the Oreo milkshake I was expecting, I received a plain vanilla milkshake with no Oreos at all. I thought, “Okay, mistakes happen,” and politely pointed it out to her, hoping for a quick fix. Unfortunately, she didn’t seem apologetic or interested in making things right. Instead, she sighed loudly, rolled her eyes, and took the milkshake back as if it was a bother to correct the mistake. When she finally returned with the right milkshake, it was clear she was doing the bare minimum, and there was no apology or effort to make me feel valued as a customer. Her attitude remained just as unfriendly as before, and I couldn’t help but feel that I was more of a hassle to her than a paying customer. I’ve been to other Archie’s locations before and always had a pleasant experience, so it was especially disappointing to have such a negative interaction at this one. The Oreo milkshake itself was fine, but the rude service completely ruined the experience. At no point did I feel welcomed, respected, or appreciated. It’s a shame because I was really looking forward to enjoying my treat, but the poor customer service left a bad taste in my mouth—far worse than the milkshake itself. Given how I was treated, I won’t be returning to this location, and I’d hesitate to recommend it to others. If you’re looking for good service and a pleasant experience, this is definitely not the place.

Had a terrible experience with a staff member, she rudely spoke to me and it was very unprofessional, she told guest she would charge them for using the bathroom. Very rude ruined the experience. Staff member had black box braids, and a Jamaican accent. Will not be returning !

The first time I came here was on the Saturday afternoon of Black Friday weekend. After ordering, it took over an hour to get my food. It was pretty tasty, but seriously, for a fast-food place, that’s way too long. Today is my second time here. The place was nearly empty, and it was close to midnight. I ordered a burger, and it still took almost 30 minutes? The finished burger was just sitting on the rack forever, and no one bothered to pack it. Honestly, if anyone wants to come here, that’s on them. One star, and even that feels generous.

Do not order a milkshake it takes an age to be ordered as extremely understaffed or deficiently staffed.

Me and my friend went to Archie’s today for a dessert, not the first time we have been. We noticed a male customer being extremely aggressive and intimidating towards one of the female members of staff. He was repeating that he had been waiting an hour and other people around were also clearly visibly annoyed at how long they had been waiting. There was only one woman working at the front, serving customers, completing food orders and also having to come out to clean tables. Her name was Kristen and she was the only positive thing about this experience as she was so apologetic about the situation despite clearly being stressed herself. We waited over an hour for our half waffles, to which my food was given to someone else without a receipt check and I had to go and chase it up multiple times. After eating, we went up and asked to speak with the manager to which the man responded that was him. On requesting a complaint he claimed he wasn’t actually the manager of this chain and worked in Liverpool and that this store doesn’t even have a manager. Also, openly admitted that Kristen was working 3 hours after her finish time, in a very unprofessional manner almost making light of the situation at hand. He told us we should just leave a positive review for Kristen, which we would have done anyway but this doesn’t excuse the service, not by any fault of her own as she was so overworked and the store was understaffed. Overall we will not be returning again and it is clear there are problems with management and poor treatment of staff.

I order in uber never came my order

My experience at Archies was very disappointing. The service was extremely slow, and the overall cleanliness of the place was below expectations. Despite customers who ordered before and after me receiving their food, my order was significantly delayed. When I asked the staff about the delay, I was told that my order was large, so they prioritize smaller orders first. I asked if splitting my order into separate bills would have made it faster, but the staff member couldn’t provide a clear response and walked back into the kitchen. Only then did they rush to prepare my food. This was an unpleasant experience, and I hope they can improve their service moving forward.

When ordering on the touch screen menu, all the drinks coke, vimto, iru bru etc were unavailable, can't have burger and fries with no cold soda. Decided not to order and eat elsewhere. Hopefully they will fix this as its unacceptable.

Food tasty, but quite expensive. No napkins! - in a place where you eat with your hands. They had ran out, apparently. But they should be sure to have sufficient stocks. I had to clear two tables before we could sit and eat while the staff just watched.

Poor hygiene and poor customer service. Paid for our meal and after seen that the staff had their dirty shoe on the 'just cleaned' counter top 🤢 we ended up chucking our meal away. If the hygiene is like this infront of customers, what is it like round the back? 🤢

cute restaurant, very pink, service was okay because we used a touch screen to order but the Cookie Monster waffle was okay overall, just a bit too much Oreo. I prefer simple waffles, but the waffle menu is very limited, because there are only three waffles you can choose from :(
