Atlas in Hammersmith and Fulham

Amazing food and atmosphere. But service staff served other tables / customers (White) whilst ignoring our table (Chinese / Indian), which I found very odd...

Loved this bar, want to return because of its fabulous atmosphere. Would love to try the food. Absolute jewel of a place.

Exceptional dining experience! The food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. I had the roasted chicken Sunday roast, and as a chef, I can truly appreciate the balance and attention to detail on the plate. The flavors were perfectly harmonious and absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be returning for more!

The set menu on Sunday in the first floor restaurant is excellent.

Service on the night from some members of the staff really tarnished the open moments of the occasion. No suggestion that drinks downstairs are not included on the private room spend and therefore we should have told all guests to ask the bar downstairs to receipt it upstairs. When called to make payment, we were presented with estimated expenditure on the night and no breakdown of costs so therefore our deposit was being taken due to meeting the minimum spend. Blamed over the phone for not knowing to pass all payments made downstairs to the upstairs tab yet someone members of staff were happy to bring expensive drinks purchases up from the downstairs bar to facilitate those orders. When asking for the breakdown we were told, you must settle the amount spoken over the phone and can claim any amount back in the future but we must make payment now but the staff member on the phone showed zero consideration to the amount we were made to purchase downstairs because it suited their narrative to receive a payment over the phone and claim back at a later date. Demanding guests to leave immediately, no pre-warning and telling guest to just leave repeatedly despite everyone simply saying bye to one another unfortunately meant the party of 30+ would not go to back to this venue as that’s the lasting memory.

Had a great pub meal with an old friend, the food and ambience were all I expect from The Atlas - a local gastrointestinal that is the gift that keeps on giving!

A good local pub, with decent range of beers and excellent service. Food is good if a little pricey. Good indoor and outdoor space.

Been a regular for a while yet the menu never fails to give a new exceptionally seasoned and tasty dish. The hake tonight was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. Staff are more attentive than a Michelin venue. Great all round and wine recommendation fit right in. Pretty awesome considering it’s a local pub

Buzzing on a Friday night (book a table). Huge outdoor space with heaters too. Had burgers they were good but not amazing. Great service, great condiments & chips. Just burger was a bit dry!

A more relaxed pre game boozer, but sadly the Guinness was very average.

Nice, authentic, local British pub, with an elevated culinary experience.

Most of the time the food is amazing, it is a very particular small number of dishes that aren’t so great, such as the steak that is permanently / always on the menu (as opposed to the specials, which are great). Ambience: whilst a buzzy atmosphere is great and fun, the noise levels inside the pub reach often extreme levels, so be prepared!

Dos amigos y yo reservamos una mesa un sábado por la noche. Nos dieron la bienvenida y rápidamente nos ofrecieron y sirvieron bebidas. Hasta ahora, muy bien. Nuestra mesa estaba cerca de una puerta abierta a una zona de cocina. Había mucho ruido de vajilla y más desconcertante, frente al personal de la casa comiendo abiertamente. Otra mesa quedó libre y cuando pregunté, nos movieron sin ningún problema. Luego fuimos ignorados mientras el personal de espera charlaba en la esquina del bar de espaldas a nosotros. Finalmente llamé la atención de alguien y nos dieron la orden. Pasó mucho tiempo y el comedor del pub se vació - todavía nuestra comida no llegó. Nadie siquiera miró a nuestra mesa: si lo hubieran hecho, habrían visto un vaso vacío, normalmente una señal clara para ofrecer otra bebida. Una vez más, tuve que parar un servidor para pedir que me tomaran una orden de bebidas y preguntar por nuestra comida. Fue porque había una gran función arriba, explicó, no era realmente nuestro problema, y no había sentido que alguien estuviera especialmente preocupado por nuestra experiencia. Nuestra comida finalmente llegó y era muy agradable. Sin embargo, necesitaba llamar la atención para pedirme otra bebida. Terminamos de comer y nuestros platos quedaron sin despejar - obvio para todos, dada la ubicación de nuestra mesa. Finalmente, el gerente nos dio la autorización, nos ofreció el menú de postres que rechazamos, y nos dejó para charlar. Tuve que levantarme y pedir la cuenta cuando estábamos listos para irnos. He trabajado en restaurantes durante muchos años y estaba horrorizado al nivel de la hospitalidad. Lo básico era pobre: ser consciente de lo que está pasando en una mesa, ya sea que el cliente esté esperando para pedir, bebidas adicionales requeridas, alimentos que toman mucho tiempo para tranquilizar a los huéspedes, vasos limpios cuando llegan bebidas de reemplazo, platos sucios limpiados rápidamente. Comprendo que hayan tenido un turno ocupado, pero nadie parecía apresurado, y cada miembro del personal estaba bebiendo abiertamente - cerveza, vino, comiendo papas fritas - detrás de la barra, frente a la barra, de vuelta a nosotros. No parecía importarles menos si estábamos teniendo una buena noche o no. La factura llegó a 140 libras. 00 para 2 bebidas cada uno y un plato principal con algunos lados. No es barato - 2 platos de pasta simple eran casi £ 20 cada uno - pero siempre tendría en cuenta un gran servicio cuando se mira la relación calidad-precio, ya que puede absolutamente hacer una noche. En esta ocasión, me sentí decepcionado una y otra vez. El único factor redentor fue el encantador gerente que era encantador cuando interactuó con nosotros. Ojalá hubiera sido capaz de inspirar mejores estándares y un sentido de verdadera hospitalidad en su equipo.

My favourite pub in all of London! Such an authentic feel and reasonably priced drinks. Would high recommend!

A bit shocked to discover a table of half-a-dozen kids (under ten years old) at a table just inside the door. Fortunately the clientele in the beer garden was more mature. Good choice of beers, prices pretty much the norm for London. Attractive décor, inside and out. Popular (early Wednesday evening) with young professionals, alone, in couples or in small groups. Service efficient. I'd go again if in the area.

Went for a Sunday roast, was one of my favourite roasts I’ve had in a while. A little on the expensive side - £24 for the pork. But will definitely return. Very nice beer garden with umbrellas. Staff were lovely.

Fantastic Sunday roast Friendly service Proper old London pub that hasn’t had their decor spoilt just carefully cared for and gently enhanced. I’m becoming a Sunday regular and have been going with different groups and so far no complaints 😊

The Bloody Marys are to die for and both the Tuscan Sausages and the Ragu are out of this world

Good local place with good food, went there last night - we booked inside but regretted it as our Apple Watches warned us that noise was 90db so we couldn't hear each other to talk. The meal was good as usual, but wish they had the sausages and mash on the menu as it's one of the best things the kitchen does but it wasn't on the menu last night.

The Atlas is my favourite pub in London, the atmosphere, the food, the people, I love how cozy and chill this place is, it’s a whole vibe, you almost feel like home. Would highly recommend to have dinner there, never been disappointed. :)

We love this pub and the service, but I am not happy with the menu change. Sorry to be needy, but I have some issues with food intolerances, so I not happy that they keep taking off the dishes I can eat! First they took away the linguine with seafood/prawns and now they have taken away the beef ragu - they have an Italian sausage ragu, but it is not nearly as nice! Having said that, my other half loves their menu!

Fantastic! Why did it take me so long to discover the Atlas? The food was absolutely delicious and it was very difficult to choose between dishes that all sounded delicious. Great atmosphere with a huge outdoor garden also. We’ll be back!

This is one of my fav pubs in London! Maybe slight Italian bias 👀🇮🇹 but the food in here is absolutely top notch and they do an incredible pint of Guinness! Big beer garden with heaters so good all year round. Great vibe and fantastic dog friendly staff 🐶 100% recommended 💪🍺

It was OK, food I had wasn’t especially good and the place was extortionately expensive. Definitely not going back just because it was so ridiculously expensive.

We just had our wedding reception in the beautiful private function rooms upstairs at The Atlas and it was absolutely perfect! Colby, Amy and Erin were so kind, helpful, accommodating and reassuring with the planning. We had the best time and our guests enjoyed themselves so much. The food was delicious — so much so that a few guests visiting from overseas went back the following night for dinner. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have been happier or enjoyed our night more. Thank you so much!

Cant comment on the food, didnt have any, good pint of Guinness tho, it should be for £6.90 a pint

A nice pub with good quality food but not very child friendly. Given this is very close to the BBC Earth experience its a bit of a shame.

Friendly staff and just a good English ambience ... food is a bit pricey I would say but its good.

We've been to the Atlas on a previous occasion about a year ago, can safely say that the service and Sunday roast is as good as it was the last time we came. Highly recommended.

V v busy as the run up to Christmas so also very noisy but quietened down later in the evening. Service was attentive without being pushy and did well given the crowds. Food was good and wine reasonably priced, will certainly go again.

Really wonderful Sunday roast at The Atlas. Roast rump of beef was so delicious, huge Yorkshire puddings, tasty carrots, mash and super crunchy roast potatoes - I’m coming back! Really good extended menu too. Staff were lovely too. Spent a few hours with some friends - highly recommend.

This is a lovely pub and so cosily decorated for the festive period. We went for a traditional Sunday lunch. The staff were helpful and absolutely lovely, and the food good quality and served quickly and efficiently. The perfect place for a family gathering. A big disappointment was the vegetarian offering. It was the dreaded mushroom risotto. I didn’t try the Atlas version because over the years I’ve felt very much left out and a second class customer getting a plate of grey gloop whilst everyone else is enjoying a colourful and delicious roast meal. A veggie version of a roast is definitely needed on the menu. My family group won’t return again despite the lovely staff because the vegetarian in the group is not catered for. Culinary imagination in excess of a dreary risotto (of any flavour) is needed.

We went for Sunday Lunch. Both roasts were tepid. The beef was good but the chicken (a wing) was small. Roast potatoes were pale and damp. Only veg was some large pieces of damp carrot. The pudding was advertised as a crumble. It was a loose dry Granola. Discustard

Superb spot for a drink, always a great selection of beers on and at this time of year it is v festive!

Lovely pub, great place to go after a game at Samford Bridge 10 min from the ground but not a huge crowd.

We had an enjoyable evening in the Atlas. The service was outstanding, and we had a good table. Some of our food was very good, and some a bit ordinary, but it was all good enough for us to be happy with the experience.

Pub v v busy so v noisy but a great evening, service good, only hiccup Landlord was off.

The service was quite slow, but the meal was decent. I ordered roast beef which was pretty good.

Really nice pub and friendly service. However, disappointed that they did not offer a veggie/fish option for the Sunday roast, plus there was only one veggie main course option. Soup ordered for starter was too salty to eat and had to be sent back.

Ótima opção pra comer de verdade no almoço, em Londres. Na região achei poucas opções com pratos de verdade, em sua maioria hambúrgueres e fish&chips. Pra mim foi um conforto achar comida boa e bem servida perto do hotel.

Second visit in two weeks, list count over 17 years. Always good. Saturdays a bit noisier/livelier than other days but all adds to the mix.
