Ordered take away from just eat, if I could I would leave 10 stars for this place. Everything is fresh and very very tasty. Thank you very much for all of your great workers for this amazing experience, even if it’s just a take away. You’re making outstanding service!

From the time of arrival the 2 girls on the bar were so welcoming and friendly and the pub itself is beautiful with food to match . Such a cosy place to drink and eat on a cold day with the Belly pork on Sunday lunch being one of the best I’ve ever tasted .

We booked a table here for dinner before we went to the Apollo nearby. We both had roast beef and all the trimmings and it was absolutely superb. We shared a Berry Crumble and custard for dessert (which was amazing) as we couldn't manage a whole dessert each. The staff were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. This was a great find and we would highly recommend.

They don't bother to get back to you to confirm bookings made on their website, they rarely have the phone off ansamachine and they don't respond to voicemail messages left. I'd go elsewhere if you want to eat!

Amazing Christmas atmosphere and food!

We had our family’s Xmas dinner with ugly sweaters @ Thatched house. Both kids and adults had a great time there, enjoyed the delicious food and classic English pub vibes. Food doesn’t get 5 stars because the desserts weren’t what we expected, although I have to say the yogurt-flavored cheesecake did surprise me! Highlight to the service for treating the kids so kindly and joyfully. Merry Xmas!

Loved the Sunday roast. Yorkshire puds, the roast chicken were on point and delicious. The potatoes were a little hard for our liking, but overall loved it and will be back again for a relaxing meal and drink. Kids meal had a lovely fish and chips with a massive fish. 👌🏼

Great food, attentive service, never disappoints! Since discovering it, it has bevome my favourite local pub! I have taken 1 star down for atmosphere cause football was on and they left it with sound, but before/after the background music was lovely!

The food was good, generally what you might expfrom pub grub. The service was ok but not great. Its expensive for what it is but that seems to be a trend in the Hammersmith area where all resteraunts are exp. This a pub with a restaurant attached which isn't ideal as a lot of noise from pub gets to the restaurant making it quite noisy. I won't be rushing back.

Very nice pub with a small beer garden. I had the duck leg and it was roasted to perfection. Interior is very cosy and classical.

Made a reservation here through The Fork just so we could try the place out and was so glad we did because the food was fantastic and service, stellar. We've walked past this pub so many times and never thought to go in. We ordered whitebait for our starters. For our main we had chicken schnitzel which was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside that came with a delicious helping of mixed vegetables and chips. My friend's Caesar Salad had actual anchovies in it--yum--and grilled chicken.

Great food, service and ambience. The secluded garden is a lovely haven on a summer’s day, and it has been refreshed with some interesting quirky artwork. It’s also great in the winter time, with its crackling fire. The service is excellent year-round!

We hosted a 21st for 30 guests at the Thatched House on 30th June. The team were an absolute pleasure to deal with, all the way from planning through to the end of the evening. They arranged two long tables in the garden beautifully, reserved the garden area exclusively for our use and produced a fantastic array of food, cocktails and wine. The Thatched House team made a special celebration even more special by their hard work and attention to detail. Our family and all our friends had a superb evening. Special thanks to Kamal, SJ, Erika and Srilakshmi. A brilliant evening! Thank you!

A cozy corner pub with friendly service and FABULOUS fish & chips.

This was a really lovely pub, I didn't try the food but everything that came out looked delicious and plates were empty so we assume it's good. Staff are really friendly and the pub itself idls bigger than it looks with an outdoor space too.

Went there this lunchtime. Order a rost beef and rost duck. The rost beef was two wafers thin Raw in the middle rost potatoes wit a taste of oil as if there were done on a deep fat frier.my friend had the duck just as bad as the beef never again would I dine in this place.

What a hidden gem. Just got a reservation on the fly while passing by and had a really nice Sunday Roast with the family. We had the beef, chicken and fish and everything was delicious!

Just was accidentally walking pass. Got attracted by outlook. So I stepped in and have a try. It’s been quite a while I haven’t been an English pub. And all of sudden I felt amazed by the indoor decor and set up also. The Barman named Kamal was very helpful and with great service attitude which made me feel relaxed. I be was told this pub has over 200 years history already!! WOW! I love it. Definitely want to come back again. 🍀

We hosted our company 10 year anniversary party at Thatched House and the service was impeccable. The staff allowed us to arrive and set up the evening before and were super helpful on the day of - everything ran smoothly, the BBQ was great and the attention to detail was immaculate. Great space for hosting a company event as the bifold doors allow an open space into the beer garden. Deffo reccomend and will be keeping in mind for future parties!

I can’t believe I’ve never left a review of the Thatched House! Such a wonderful pub ran by the best people. The food is lovely, and I love their roasts on Sundays. I also had my wedding reception here and James and his team ensured the night went perfectly. I’m from the US so the thought of planning a wedding remotely was scary but James and his team coordinated with our vendors and ensured the night was perfect. The guests also all commented on how good the food was and they had vegan and gluten free options for our friends with dietary restrictions. This place will always hold a special place in my heart and I try to stop by every time I’m in town for a meal and a drink.

There are 6 pubs around Ravenscourt Park in Hammersmith I’ve been wanting to do a pub crawl for the last couple of years. We only made two as we were tired and it was getting late. First was the Prince of Wales, which I have been to before. Good beer selection. This one was the Thatched House. We were hungry and the soup of the day was carrot and parsnip. Best soup on this 11 day trip to London.

We held our family’s pre-wedding dinner at the Thatched House and it was the most wonderful evening. The staff (particularly Kamal) were so incredibly helpful in the planning and run up to the evening which turned out to be a meal for almost 40 of us. The service was perfect and the food delicious. We couldn’t fault anything and would highly recommend the pub for a a function or just a quiet drink. Lots of options, great quality, reasonable price and excellent staff. It was a highlight of the weekend. Thank you!

Great Sunday British Roast and sticky pudding!

Thatched House was such a lovely part of our visit to London. The atmosphere is top tier, with the candles, books, and fire comforting yet beautiful— it makes you want to stay forever, we even visited three times! The food is good (recommend the beef stew) albeit a bit pricey. The sticky toffee pudding is amazing and succulent with delicious caramel sauce, best we had in London. The quiz was very fun, so make sure to visit on Thursdays!!!

Food is brilliant! Atmosphere is warm and friendly - Guinness is brilliant also- will definitely go again!

Found while I was waiting for my son who was auditioning for a local Drama school. I was met with a smile and pleasant service. I ordered from the menu and the food came quickly and was lovely. It was a cold day and the fire was lit which was great !! Thank you for making me feel welcome.

So nice to have decent home cooked food with vegetables and not the burger and chip menu as seen in most pubs. The lamb shank was divine. The dining area is clean and spacious and there is also a conservatory. Nice pub for all occassions.

I just love this amazingly family friendly pub and their Sunday lunch is like a huge hug . Absolutely wonderful selection of different meat choices and I had whole sea bass with Sunday roast veg. I devoured it and was so lovely flavours on the bone. They moved tables for us always on hand and not gourmet food but just great reliable goodness so its excellent value for money. Best Sunday roast by far for me. It's usually very busy so you will need to book ahead or phone on the day. Party and garden room at the rear. Thank you as always Thatched House my home from home. We tried out Thatched House on a Friday night for dinner. The pubs nice and cosy and staff very friendly. The mussels were great and the mains were generally really nice and tasty. We booked via the fork and got 30% off food which was a great deal. It is worth calling out Sujin who was great. Super friendly and helpful. Would recommend doing a bit of a bathroom clean. There was a strong smell even from the outside. Would recommend this place for food and live sports too.

I only popped in to watch the 2nd half of the football match between Tottenham hotspur and Manchester united.. my 3rd time at the Thatched house. I would go back again at the drop of a hat.

We organised our Christmas dinner at the Thatched House. I got a lot more than what I expected for £29.95 per person. The food was really good and filling portion sizes, we kindly got given a student discount on drinks, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and toasty with a fire and Christmas crackers laid out on a beautifully decorated table. The food and service has always been consistently good even when I go outside of a Christmas dinner. Would recommend for both the affordability of the Christmas dinner package and their usual food, drink and atmosphere!

Lovely old style quintessential English pub. Dark oak panels, light stained tables and a wonderful open fire with sofas. Different areas throughout: the pub, a restaurant area and the terrace, already with the Xmas decorations. Wooden floors and white ceiling with spotlights keeps it light and bright. However, interestingly, it is a newish pub just few years old. You would never thing that comfortably sitting on the sofa having a drink in front of the open fire! Starter of king prawns. Very well cooked, the chilli, garlic and lemon well balanced. Just a tad too oily. Sirloin as a main. Mushroom, cherry tomato, chunky chips. A prime cut of meat beautifully cooked. Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, simple but delicious and a fitting end to a good meal. All very well cooked and presented. As pub food goes, this one is up there with the best. Nice choice of background music, not too loud so you can actually maintain a conversation. Free parking in the area during the week after 5 is a bonus. In brief, good food in a cosy setting, well priced and the service is very good. Special mention to Sujin, he was great. Highly recommended.

The food is very good. A decent menu with additional specials. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are good. The beer is a different matter - the draught beer was out of condition and needed removing.

Bernard was a superb host as I worked around the Thatched house. Huge seating areas inside and out Tastefully decorated and kept spick and span by Bernard and the staff... This is a lovely building with an open fire and plenty of books... A great way to spend a few hours over coffee , wine or alcohol... Serves food

Excellent food, staff and service. I was recently here for lunch with a friend and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can get a roast dinner or other various options, including pub classics like fish and chips. The owner was particularly friendly when he heard my strong Northern Ireland accent - brilliant! A great location and seems to do a good trade. I look forward to returning very soon and thus I highly recommend it!

Met long standing friend for lunch. We wanted to talk to catch up. Excellent venue, very little lunchtime noise, all very relaxed with a roaring fire in corner. Food was excellent as well as choice of Ciders and beers. Attentive, friendly helpful staff. unobtrusive but efficient. He bought more water without being asked and bought my friend 2 bowls of Ketchup when requested. We had Sujin as our waiter. Very kind and helped me out on my mac..I am disabled and still have crutch. Very reasonable prices Would go again anytime. Noticed couple of little dogs and children there

The ambience was so lovely that I have fallen in love with the place. I had the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream which was heart filling. The service was top class. The waiter had a great smile and great service. Will definitely come back.

The first time we went there was a very enjoyable experience. We booked in advance and were given a very nice table in the main dining section. The second time we turned up on an off chance and there was a loud party inside so we went outside. On our third outing we booked in advance again and were dismayed to be seated close to a loud party and on a table far too small for the purpose that looked like it was brought out of storage at the last minute. Both of these things took away from the enjoyment of the food, which has been consistently good. However, since you pay for the experience, I don’t think we’ll bother again.

This is a wonderful, classic pub to enjoy a delicious meal or just drinks. We ate there for the first time last night, and had a lovely table right next to a fireplace, and excellent service. The food was very good, it is not often you can get duck breast on a pub menu. The chocolate cake with ice cream was a great way to finish off the dinner. It is a very spacious pub so lots of room for both diners and drinkers, which we really appreciate. We will certainly return and try other items on the menu, or maybe just stop in for a drink. Great place!

Total pleasure to spend our evening together here. In the bar it was quiz night, and we joined in unofficially. The staff were attentive and friendly, we have allergies which were fully discussed and the food was delicious. As Autumn has just started it was cosy inside with an open fire but still warm enough for some customers to enjoy the outside space to the rear. Extremely good value for money!

The Thatched House Pub is a little out of the way, but well worth a visit. The people, the atmosphere, and the FOOD are wonderful. My daughter visited two or three times when she was in London. It is well worth the trip to go have a pint or some dinner.

Good venue for Sunday lunch. Generous portions of meat and vegetables topped with a large Yorkshire Pud. We go at least once a month sometimes more often. Few choices of deserts which could be improved on.

Went for early dinner and couldn't have had better food and service. We had a selection of starters, fish and chips and the most delicious crumble and custard. Can't wait for my next visit!

Seems like a lovely pub. It's a shame it got ruined by the fact I saw vermin scurrying about beneath my table. Don't want to be mean, but I don't really want to go back until it gets sorted out.

Dropped in for a pint with a couple of mates, on the way home from an earlier Thames-side drink. Plenty of space, we had a booth-like table, rather than one in the welcoming space in front of the bar, and had we arrived earlier, the large to-the-ceiling windows would have let the evening sunlight flood in. Some interesting beers. We need to return, earlier, one evening and try the food.

The manager and staff are truly amazing, they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. They provide brilliant table service and the food and drink are both top draw. I have been here with my family several times and we always comment how wonderfully well run the pub is.
