What a way to get into the Christmas spirit. We had a magical experience at the Royal Albert Hall Christmas Carols this year. A perfect balance between performances and participatory carols and a comedic presenter leading the event. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time!

I went to enjoy a carol performance on Christmas Eve. I got to see the Prom rehearsal while on tour in the summer, and it was so grand that I couldn't forget it. I went to see Carol in the winter, and as expected, it was great. People filling the audience seats. A beautiful Christmas stage. From carols sung together to the wonderful performance of the orchestra. It was an unforgettable experience. I really want to go see a performance in the summer.

Amazing building, and very helpful staff.

A disgraceful experience. It’s impossible to book through the website with the London Pass, forcing people to come all the way here only to find out it’s fully booked. A complete waste of time. They don’t even allow you to purchase tickets for future dates, insisting on showing up at the ticket office on the same day!

I had the happiness to participate in the Christmas concert and sang 5 carols together with 5300 spectators!

Went to the Carol Concert. It was very uplifting & got everyone in the Christmas spirit.

This concert hall is simply beautiful. If you can, go for the Christmas Caroling 😍

Attended the Royal Albert Hall for the second time, I was lucky enough to see the London community choir. It was the perfect family event, I attended with my daughter and mother to see in the festive season. Was truly a beautiful event, preshow we had a reservation at Verdi. In my daughters words it was the best day ever! Highly recommend it 👌

The Christmas event with the salvation army was awful

One of the best event locations in Britain. Only negative was queuing for ages to get ice cream to then be told that it was not available at that particular outlet (despite it being on the price list displayed behind the counter)

Venue was stunning, artists were very good, Only thing to comment was that after every artist left the stage there was a 10 minute with nothing happening and still a 25 minute interval.

A wonderful Christmas carols concert. Can't fault it at all.

Unfortunately, we weren't inside. As a way to see the exterior, I think it’s worth a look, especially if you’ve already gone for a walk in Hyde Park)

Christmas carols at the hall, such a beautiful experience which moved me to tears a couple of times, had me badly singing my heart out and dancing in the aisle! Moving, fun, and interactive! The cafe is over priced and not much vegetarian option at all, lack of seating in cafe/bar, my Nan was struggling and you can't get to your seats until close to performance so she was in pain. The show is well worth a visit and we are already looking at booking for next year! We parked at a hotel close by, which was an easy walk.

A magical and incredible place. Attending the Christmas concert was an emotion like no other. Everything very organized, clean, comfortable. In short, perfect! You arrive by bus which also takes a nice ride around the centre

Went for Letters Live, really brilliant night out. We had tickets for the gallery and I recommend getting there early so you can get a good view. Such a staggering venue and wondrous acoustics!

A majical place to see and hear very talented musicians. Singers and choirs perform at their best. The organ that has 999 pipes is awesome, and to hear it is thrilling.

My daughter in law treated us to a box. What an amazing experience!! Had 96 year old Nanny with us and she coped because there was a lift to the correct floor. The Carols for Christmas were amazing. Highly recommend as a pre-Christmas treat.

We visited the Royal Albert Hall the same day Dua Lipa came to perform. As a result, the construction of the stage was in progress and we were not allowed to take photos, but I cannot capture the beauty of this hall in a photo. Our guide James gave us a wonderful explanation of the history and operation of this hall. I was sorry that we did not see the catacombs, I don't know if this is included in the tour or if Dua Lipa did not allow us to visit them.

A group of us from the Caribbean Social Forum went to the Christmas Carol service. The singing was uplifting, we certainly felt the spirit of Christmas.

One ticket machine so you have to stand in freezing cold when they could have two tickets checkers. The person who did the checking certainly had no Xmas spirit, snappy and unpleasant. Then they advertise hot drinks and mulled wine but don't serve either! You can't order at the bar for the interval, a shambles leaving us cold, thirsty and disappointed but no doubt they made lots of money.

If you go to the Royal Albert Hall for any events, it's bound to be special. The building and atmosphere are just magical at Christmas. Get there early to have a look around, and if you can get to the 1871 bar, it's a Victorian styled treasure. Sound and sight lines are fantastic. One of London's unique venues with an eclectic programme of performances.

Fabulous night seeing Guy Barkers Big Band Christmas. The Royal Albert Hall is such a special venue, no bad seats in the whole house. Always a pleasure to visit.

Lovely historic building but starting to look a bit tired in places, staff friendly but did not really know layout of building so were unable to point us to where we needed to go to find our seats.

The auditorium is magnificent, the corridors are truly puritanical. You can eat in the large café on the ground floor, the offer of the internal buffets is limited to snacks.

Staff are really lovely and polite. The venue is one of a kind with an incredible acoustic. All shows here are a fantastic experience. Worth visiting even if nothing is on.

A must-see place on the London map. Absolutely fantastic guide Paul told the history of this place in a unique way. I left delighted. You can see that he does it with passion and commitment. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Wonderful experience again to be in here for my respected music conductor Joe Hisaishi's concert. The venue and seating was immaculated, easy to get there from either Gloucester Road tube station or South Kensington tube station. Bar price is reasonable and good services. Nevertheless, we found that booklet sales or CD sales were overpriced and staff were not friendly. Seating chairs were great can swing like 90deg. The sound effect was amazing. Thank you to keeping this place alive !

Like every year a highlight. 2024 was our 5th concert in the Royal Albert Hall. From booking to admission to the concert, everything was perfectly organized. This year we visited the Carols at the Royal Albert Hall for the first time. As always, a great atmosphere in the very Christmas-themed hall and a great concert at a very fair price. That alone is worth flying to London every year. See you next year.

We went to the carol singing event, early doors, 11am. And what an event. Absolutely mind blowingly awesome. My first visit to the Royal Albert Hall, and now an intended annual event. The auditorium is huge, hard to grasp or reconcile with the perception shown on last night at the proms, for example. A bucket list now shorter. Brilliant. Whatever you go to see here, and I would recommend you consider the Carol singing, you won't be disappointed with this venue, I promise. Enjoy fellow travellers. 😃👍

The building is an experience in itself! I didn't realise how big it was until I was inside - the hall is truly a wonder. From the high ceilings to the acoustic treatment, the Royal Albert Hall is a must visit.

For a venue of this stature there should be a better process & stalls for bars, refreshments & drinks. Nevertheless a gorgeous traditional venue

Brilliant visit with an excellent tour. Tour guide Mandy was very informative and a delight for the tour, keeping the tour group highly entertained and informed. Finished off with beautiful afternoon tea.

Went for the letters live and had an amazing time. The location is gorgeous and it was very easy to find and access.

We ate at Verdi at the RAH before the Jamie Cullum Christmas concert. The cocktails, food and service were outstanding. The box seats were superb, and the mulled wine and mince pies we pre-arranged with RAH catering. A fabulous evening of food, drinks, and of course 1st class entertainment from Jamie and his band and orchestra!

I had one of the best evenings of my life watching David Gilmour play in the Royal Albert Hall. It was unbelievable. The arrangement was perfect. Amenities and bars were great. The lights of the auditorium was something out of this world. I need to go back again! Everyone should see atleast one show in the Royal Albert Hall in their life.

Saw Jules Bucley's Aretha show. Venue is perfect for seeing an orchestra. Seats were comfortable snd acoustics were excellent

Christmas carols with Royal Choral Society and Royal Philharmonic orchestra were outstanding. Great audience participation. I'll be back next year. Bars in the basement are stunning.

What an amazing venue, from the moment you arrive you can feel that this venue is something really special. We arrived early as we had a reservation for the 1871 bar before the entertainment began, on arrival we were made to feel very welcome before being shown to our reserved table. The menu was amazing with new cocktails on the menu. Once it was time for the "Streets of London" concert to start we made our way to our seats in the raucous circle (T1 section). We were in the front row so had an amazing view of the stage area. The venue is incredible, the acoustics are perfect and the arena has the feel of a a Roman coliseum. In short, if you get the opportunity to visit it's a must see venue

Amazing place, beautiful venue. I went to Nas's 30th anniversary Illmatic concert and it was an unforgettable experience, well organized and with excellent acoustics.

The venue itself is cool. The performance was stellar. However the bar at the 3rd floor is incredibly poor with drinks served in plastic cups. Could do better

A truly wonderful and unforgettable evening attending the Joe Hisaishi Symphony with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. I could not have been more delighted with the experience.

Great venue and acoustics, you can almost feel the history! Liked the rotating seats so you are to much disturbed by late arrivals.
