Durum Restaurant in Barnet

I came with my Son, and we had a very nice meal of Lamb Chops, Rice, and Salad. The Chops were grilled perfectly. The Staff are welcoming, and helpful. A nice evening for both of us.

Large portion and tasty meals. Recommended

Great food, they have the most tender and tasty lamb Shish. Vegetarian mousaka is also great. We often get takeaway but chose to eat in today. Excellent service, attentive but not overbearing.

Window saying "wrap £5", this is not value for money. They cut a slice of normal bread ( not even wrap bread) and put miniscal amount of meat inside and try selling like its a good offer. It's meat content is 1/10th of a normal wrap that is sold for £10 everywhere else. This wrap is equal to £50 and veryyyy expensive. Sign should say "Mini wrap for £5". Please don't insult your customers intelligence. Other than this the food was cold but it tasted good.

We have been coming to Durum for about a year now. More recently almost weekly. The food has always been great, quality consistent and service is perfect. We find price to quality very good. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant. We will be coming back time and time again.

The service was spectacular with the atmosphere too. Honestly it was so nice I didn’t have time to take a pic regrettably. It was a rainy day and we were served with hot bead and dips. I had the adana kebab while my wife had the sea bass. Very generous portions and with extra bread given too. Followed the meal with Turkish baklava and tea. But it was the atmosphere that made it extra special. Music from Sinatra and other greats it made everything so cosy. If you are having a bad day, I couldn’t recommend a better place to make you feel better!

Smashing Turkish restaurant with brilliant food and lovely welcoming staff.

I love Durum. I’ve been coming here for about 17 years. The standards never drop. The food is superb and beautifully presented by a very professional team. My particular favourite is the Aubergine Kebab but I’ve tasted everything on the menu and it’s all superb. It’s one of the most consistently excellent places I’ve been to and I’ll be coming back again and again for many years to come. Book a table now and enjoy every minute!!!

I can’t recommend Durum Finchley Central enough! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail of our experience was perfect. The food was absolutely incredible—everything was bursting with authentic Turkish flavors. We started with the fresh bread and salad, which was a delightful mix of fresh hummus, For the main course, the lamb and chicken kebabs were tender and seasoned to perfection, while the vegetarian options were equally delicious. The highlight of the meal was the baklava—crispy, sweet, and paired with a lovely cup of Turkish tea. It was the perfect way to end such a wonderful dining experience. If you’re looking for an authentic Turkish culinary experience, Durum is a must-visit.
