Mr Falafel in Barnet

We recently visited Mr. Falafel after it was highly recommended to us, and it was absolutely worth the special trip. From the moment we walked in, Halim and Mark made us feel so welcome with their cheerful and upbeat attitude. It’s rare to find such happy-go-lucky service these days, and it truly made the experience joyful. They took the time to communicate with us, asking exactly how we would like our falafel prepared, and made it to perfection – full of flavour and tailored to our taste. Their attention to detail and friendly approach really stood out. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. Halim and Mark’s energy and smiles made the visit even more enjoyable. Very clean and tidy ….. We can’t wait to return in due course for another fantastic experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great food and even better service.

I love hummus. I mean I reeeealy love hummus. And this is hands down the Best Hummus I've had in London ! The portions are big. The price is very reasonable. In under £20 you could easily feed 3 people. But also, it's THE BEST HUMMUS IN LONDON Made the trip to Hendon all the way from Hackney.. Twice !

I love this place. In my eyes it's the best and healthier option for a takeaway. The guys here are always cheerful and offer you a fresh falafel before you make your order.

Has to be the best falafel I had so far in london. Cooked for perfection, and it’s a green falafel, what can be better! Loads of fresh salad options, staff know how to layer it perfectly so you get falafel and salad in each bit. But they were supper nice. Can’t wait to visit again.

Came here just now for the first time and ordered the falafel salad. A friendly guy helped me and the falafel salad itself is very tasty, flavourful and fresh!! I will be back :)

This is a 5 star falafel, pizza and bakery but, despite numerous mentions to staff, they have the most vile toilet facilities.

Very disorganised and rude. Ordered a falafel told him exactly what i wanted only for him to miss out one ingredient said I never told him ???? I did but he was so busy serving two other customers who came in after me maybe if you serve one customer at a time you wouldn’t make mistakes. I should have refused the falafel given it wasn't as I wanted. I can also make better at home without the remarks!

The customer service was horrible I waited in empty shop for 15 minutes to place my order but the chef didn’t care I’m standing for 15 min and then he told me I can come back in 30 min /: Not goin there anymore!

The falafel here is great, probably the best in London. The prices are on the higher side, but worth the difference for the quality. It's not a restaurant, just a take away with seating. A couple of things that could be improved is the service, it can be better, faster, more attentive, and more consistent. Also, there is an extra charge per peice of aubergine, if you want aubergine. I think it is a little mingy to do this. But, would I go back? Yes, because besides for those couple improvements that could be made. I still think it is one of the best falafels around.

Great food and great service With great prices

Mr falafel is a great place and almost a hidden gem that many walk away. I come very often and the staff always friendly. The falafel is really great and very very fresh. I wish they offered more on the menu though. The service can also be painfully slow sometimes, I feel if they worked in Israel they would be fired by now for being so slow. Please improve service! Great falafel otherwise

Falafel were a bit on the small side and portions slightly small and lacked flavour when compared to Falafel bar or Vegan hub. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

5 Stars for both the food and the service. Service is quick (Ordered and collected in store) and the food is tasty. Please do be aware that not everything on the menu is vegan anymore (As they have added coleslaw which staff said was not vegan mayo) , Apart from that, all round very good.

Best Falafel in London. Their balls are not dry and hard. Salad is fresh and delicious. They just added coleslaw to their repertoire which makes me so happy!!!! The Falafal pita deal is great.

Delicious falafel, crunchy coat but soft on the inside, amazing pita bread and really fresh salads that aren't too watery! Only falafel that compares to the authentic Middle-Eastern recipes.

Very fresh ingredients. The Falafel is super soft and green on the inside and very crispy on the outside. The salads themselves are very fresh and the Hummus is gorgeous! Very great for a quick healthy meal!

Best falafel I have ever tasted, it is SOO green!! The falafel salad is personally my favourite when I want to stay away from pita 😋 What is the secret!?

I've enjoyed lunch here twice recently. Seems to have new management with several improvements including an extra person to speed things up, payment at the kiosk instead of in the bakery and a good value lunch deal with falafel chips and a drink for £8. Generous pita size and chip portions, very fresh, totally vegan too (only plant based products for sale at the kiosk) so could be the perfect falafel operation

Service was extremely helpful and food is consistently delicious

Orderd for a family brunch (9 of us) and was all perfect and absolutely delicious. Some in pita 🥙 some in a box (gluten free people).
