One of the most accomodating ice cream shops we've encountered! Normally we struggle with finding somewhere that is friendly towards my wife's nut allergy. They happily used a fresh scoop and also opened a brand new tub to ensure no cross contamination. Also, as a big bonus, the best ice cream we've ever had. Can't recommend the thunder and lightning more. Amazing

All allergens listed which was useful! Lots of unique flavours and a wide variety! I had pistachio and it was creamy and delicious with lots of pieces of pistachio! Would definitely go again!

Great flavours and they sell the local Lakes Ice Cream with 24 flavours. The Cassis Sorbet and Gooseberry Sorbet were really good. The website is www.icekeswick.co.uk If you love ice cream then this is worth seeking out at a decent price too

After leaving voicemail and email requests for information, to no avail, we get here, and the place is closed and for sale. Great job, Google. Still showing it as less busy than usual.

The Old Smokehouse Yard 2, StricklandgateSadly many things on the menu not available despite it being 7pm on a Saturday night. If you don’t have salsa, go buy the ingredients and make some! Also, it’s a bbq place, always have salsa available! Some of the meats not available either nor were different types of tequila and mescal. So what we ate was good but lack of options of menu was disappointing. Quite a long wait to place our order even though the restaurant wasn’t that busy, but food did come out in a reasonable time. Poor vegetarian options.

Low Wood Ambleside RoadFiancé’s Garlic bread was laughable; as thin as a tortilla wrap. I fancied prawns but didn’t agree with the £10 supplement for what would be a small starter, so had a taco which was just underwhelming. Burger was very dry. Not good value for money.
