Eurasian in Kingston upon Hull, City of

Visiting from Glasgow, and seen this place was highly recommended. From the off the staff couldn’t be any more helpful and the food was great as well. Starter we had a mixed grill kebab between us. Portions are very generous. For main we had karahi Lamb was cooked to perfection and also we had the king prawn tandoori. Prices are very reasonable with a meal for 3 with starters, mains, breads and rice with drinks at a reasonable £70. Will definitely be back, nice cozy atmosphere in the place and staff are very polite.

Superb food, great atmosphere. Take your own drinks. Extensive menu that includes dishes to suit all tastes. I would recommend.

Visited this place for a last minute dinner after working late. It was a Monday night and the place was empty. Ordered a medium chicken curry and a spice table which came with 2 Papadoms. . . The food was just about ok but the guy who served us looked totally fed up and seemed more interested in getting take aways out via taxis than cooking our food order. After finishing our meal we were to,d the we had to pay by cash because the bank card machine was ‘ broken’ ???? Luckily next door had a cash machine but at a cost to us. Will not be returning.

Order Eurasian tonight, used the same Indian for years, and can honestly say that tonight is the worst I've ever had. My curry was watery, chips were cold, naan bread was burnt! Plus cost over £30! Won't be ordering from here again... gutting really, but really has gone down hill

This is the best Indian restaurant in hull I lived in East hull all my life and for last 15 years I've used this one even now I live west I still drive too gwt our food from here every thing is beautiful and cooked well

Quality food, great staff and relaxed atmosphere. Well priced and true value for money. My wife and I visit weekly and have also been on Xmas day.

We had fantastic food delivered from Eurasian, ordered a mix of starters, mains and sides , every single thing was beautiful, ordered over the phone told us it would be an hour ish , it came within 45 mins , all piping hot and really tasty , will definitely use again

Booked a table for two well before Christmas for New Year. Arrived 15 minutes early was shunted from table to table to accommodate a larger group of four and six who arrived well after us. Sat at a table which is not made up, watching the late arrivals been offered drinks tables fully made up, finally got bored and left. Come January when they will be grateful of our custom and money no thanks will be eating at the Chilli resturant.

Came in with a friend and we ordered starters, Onion Bhajee for him and prawn cocktail for me. The cocktail was nice, when the waiter came to take the dishes away asked my friend if everything was ok, my friend commented the Bhajee was too dry and a bit on the large side, after saying that the waiters attitude changed dramatically. We then went on to order lamb curry for him and I had Chicken Tikka Masala. My fiend had about 4 fork fulls and couldn't eat anymore and in his words was 'disgusting'.. As for my Tikka, I have never had one with coconut in and the sauce was covered in it.. As I don't like warm coconut I made sure I ordered Tikka instead of Korma (which does contain coconut), it was also a very bright red colour (I've only ever seen Tikka an orangy colour).. The chicken also had a bit of a plastic texture.. It really spoilt the night and unfortunately had a horrible affect on our stomache's the day after. We will never be returning there as it's gone drastically down hill.

Everything from start to finish was beautiful... We both ordered the Chicken tikka massalla We Asked for it with a little kick. And wow it was amazing.... Will definitely be returning.... One of the best in hull Keep it up guys.........

Absolutely amazing customer service skills. Fast service and the food was served quickly. We ordered chicken tikka passanda, naans, onion bhajis, etc. All food was amazing! The orange mint dip was great too, and refills were provided. Looking forward to visiting again

It was the first time i had been to a indian takeaway and I'm now addicted to Indian food. The service was amazing as they would straight away give you little starters and they were sizzling away at the table. The main food was beautiful and i would definitely recommend the Chicken Korma (I've got a sensitive tongue you see). After we had finished they came straight to us with mint chocolates and a hot napkin to wipe our faces. It may not be in the best of places, opposite Morrison and next to GALA bingo, but it is the best.

We visited here for the first time on valentine's Day, with another couple.we arrived on time and was promptly shown to our table. We rang up 8n advance to book a wheelchair accessible table. Which perfect for my needs. We ordered starters and mains,the food was tasty and generous portions. In fact i took a doggy bag home. The staff was attentive it was a bonus that we could bring our own drinks in. All in all we enjoyed it here and will be visiting again in the near future

Ordered takeaway - said around an hour, got here in around 45 minutes. Got a curry, veg rice, naan and onion barges to share between 2, plenty of food, all ready hot and very tasty. Can not fault. Good value too.

Had to be the worst vindaloo I have ever had and I’ve had a lot Sauce was like water No real taste it was just hot Very disappointed first time used and will be the last

We popped in after a local bonfire and firework event and intended to just get a takeaway, but after arriving decided to stop and have a meal inside instead, and very glad that we did.I ordered a mixed curry partner had a mixed Korma, pilau rice and naan bread along with usual popadoms etc. not the most exotic of choices but honestly very good tasty Indian food, my partner enthused about being the best meal in ages I also loved it, will probably go again on the nights when special set price menus are on and remember to take own alcohol as it is not served in the restaurant.A bit more expensive than the original takeaway would have been but excellent last minute change of plan.

Popped in after an evening sports event for supper. Couldn’t fault the service or the food. Everything was fresh and piping hot and the service attentive and polite.

Five of us arrived at 6pm only 2 people in restaurant but said they had bookings for 7.30 but would fit us in! Really wish they hadn't the food was cold and although we had 4 different curries none of them had any taste they were all bland! Service was so rushed they took plates away before we had even finished.It was a set meal but didn't got offered our dessert or coffee?? Bill brought at double quick speed with the waiter saying 'shall I just keep all the change' very rude staff ! Won't be going back

So visited with my partner & son for my birthday back in January (only just got around to this) We ordered popadoms & a pickle tray but we do not like one of the picks & asked if this could be swapped & they waiter said yeah no problem. When the pickle tray arrived it had the one we don’t like so reminded the waiter again that we had requested not to have this one but 2 of the onion one. He said ok & went away, we had to ask for a 3rd time for this to be changed. The main dishes we enjoyed but not has much as our local restaurant. The restaurant was very cold too. I would not go back as the service was not great & the food was ok but nothing great although we did enjoy them.

Love the food from here but oh dear what a shame. I always pick up and the last 3 meals there has been something missing from our order. Tonight i phoned up and went through in detail what i wanted and the guy read it back, i even mentioned previous issues. The bill was about £35, so quite a bit and a once a month big treat for us.

Without a doubt one of the best Indian restaurants in Hull. I have visited most of the well known Indian restaurants in Hull but none of them compare to here. I use Eurasian regularly both to eat in and takeaway and I couldn’t recommend it any higher

My wife & I visited eurasian for my birthday & were greated by a very friendly waiter who took us to our table. The food was amazing & lots of it. They don't have a liquor licence but allow you to take your own. All in all a very enjoyable evening

The quality of the food both the take-a-way and in the restaurant cannot be beaten in Hull. The prices simply do not refect the quantity and quality of the food provided.

The food here was ok but the worst thing about eating was how rushed we were. The staff can’t wait to serve and have you out. Disappointed as I work all week to enjoy a night out on a Friday, I don’t expect to be rushed and the tables are far too close together.

we visited for a bite to eat on Saturday night, the restaurant was very busy and full by the time we left. We just had a main meal each with rice and chapati's and it only came to £22.00!!

This restaurant is a hidden Gem on holderness road, the food is excellent and atmosphere friendly, the restaurant is not licensed so you are free to bring your own alcohol, which almost everyone does, we have had most items on the menu and have never been disappointed. If you like Asian food you will like this place.

Been going here for at least 10 years and food and staff have always been excellent. The food is excellent and the staff very attentive and helpful.

When arriving we was greeted by friendly members of staff who weighted on us perfectly all night, we went med week as we didn't want to eat in a crowded restaurant and the atmosphere was lovely, very pleasant. When food arrived and it was gorgeous we all tried each others food and agree that we would get every one of the dishes again; we will all be going back again and I would recommend this place to anyone!!! LOVE IT HERE!

Nos chicas, damas de la tercera edad han visitado restaurante indio Eurasiática durante muchos años, ya que ofrecen una noche oferta cada martes por la noche eran u ordenar un menú de aperitivos, entrantes, platos principales postres o cafés. Puedes mayores otra comida pero con un costo extra y traer sus propias bebidas alcohólicas bebida o alcohol no te dan botellas de agua. Hemos encontrado un gran ambiente agradable personal así, está limpio y la comida excelente. Con el tiempo nunca ha bajado su eurasiática, normas y se ha hecho tan popular que realmente necesitas reservar un martes por la noche. Pruébalo porque es fabuloso.

Excelente comida en cada visita a Eurasia. No está autorizado, lo que me parece es una ventaja, ya que puede tomar cualquier cosa que quieras con usted en precios de licencia. Muy recomendable, pero no olvides reservar ya que está siempre lleno.

This is a very bust restaurant and it's easy to work out why, the food and service are excellent. I went there with 9 friends, and we all chose different meals and everybody agreed that the food was excellent, even with large numbers they serve all the food at the same time to each table, and on the evening we went there were some large parties in. They do stagger the parties to ensure this service. There were also couples having a meal so it caters for all. This is the second time we have had a meal and I don't think it will be the last, It's one of the best Indian restaurants in Hull

Been here a few times for a sit down meal and must say what a wonderful place it is. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, as a vegetarian I find myself having the same dishes but not since coming here. The food is gorgeous, the best onion bhajis and sag aloo I've tried, and I've had a few!! Great value for money and the fact you can take your own alcohol means it's a cheap way of eating out. Supermarket just across the road too. Ive had a take away and food delivered and they are just as good as sitting in. Never waited too long for delivery and the foods always piping hot! I'm a massive fan of this place.

I went here with a group of work colleagues for an evening meal on a Sunday night. We pre-booked as they were quite a few of us. The table wasn't ready and they had to run around putting 3 tables together. They gave us the menus and we placed our order. Some of my friends were waiting a while after most of us got our food after they gave food to the wrong people as they couldn't identify their own dishes. We had lime pickle with carrots and peas in it. Never had that before! Then we had an orange yogurt and mint sauce. Other Indian restaurants are white. Then our main meals looked the same even though we had different food but again we're all orange! For the price it's ok but I wouldn't want to go back.

Always get my take away from here, and went last night with the wife for the Tuesday night meal for £11.95.popadums and a pickle tray arrived quickly and the starter of chicken chat was very nice. I had chicken vindaloo and pilau rice. A lovely vindaloo with plenty of chicken and a couple of pieces of potato. The wife had chicken tikka pasanda and pilau rice. She loved it, and we shared a garlic naan bread. I couldn't finish it and Tariq took it away and bagged it for me to take away. Top service, and the staff are always friendly.

Visited for the first time in a party of 17 on a Saturday night and was very impressed with the quality of food and service on offer . Great value with the options of individual foods or banquet set price for 4 courses . It's a bring your own alcohol venue which helps if you are on a budget and it certainly won't be our last visit

Just got back from this restaurant. We went on the off chance after work as we fancied a curry. We'd never been before but heard good things. It just so happened that they did a Tuesday night special which was 4 courses for £11.95! Also it was take your own alcohol so was a very reasonable night!, We had popadoms for appetiser then onion barhgi for starters. Both where great. We then had chicken korma and chicken jalfrezi with mushroom rice. The curries where amazing very tasty and perfectly cooked. The meal finished with fresh coffee and cream. Perfect after work spontaneous meal. Will be returning again to sample more of the menu. My only dissatisfaction was they didn't do naan bread on the special night even if you wanted to pay more. But that didn't spoil the meal at all. Keep up the great work

Always get my Indian take away from here. Portions are huge and full of flavours. Saturday nights I've found I've waited longer but that's the same with any take away. I've always seen people in the restaurant, that's the next thing to try, eating in. Staff are polite and helpful. Never disappointed.

We went on a friends recommendation,really lovely..good flavour,spicing and balance...a good chef works here.The only thing we would have liked would be paneer..not on the menu.Didn't remind me of India,but did remind me of Rusholme in Manchester in the good old days...which isn't a bad thing.BYO which is always good,and efficient unobtrusive service.A return visit is planned already.thanks.

Small but excellent restaurant. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Food is very good. The restaurant doesn't have an alcohol license so you can take your own wine or beer. Make sure none of it needs a corkscrew as they will charge you for opening it. They even give you a bottle opener to open your own bottles. It's on a main bus route so easy to reach. Really worth a visit...don't miss out and don't forget to book your table in advance. Hope you all enjoy your Indian experience.

Massive portions of very tasty food, we couldn't eat it all. The set meal for 2 would easily have fed 3. Prompt delivery. Will definitely order from here again.

We went to Eurasian last Saturday after night out drinking with friends. It was late and they were cashing up but we asked if they would serve us and they said that whilst we couldn't eat in, they'd be happy to sort out a takeaway. My partner and I ordered chicken dupiaza and our friends ordered another type of curry. We sat around with a few of the staff talking and I have to say they were really friendly. All seemed well until we got home. We opened the bag and started to dish up the curry but there was no sign of curry anywhere. What should have been a chicken dupiaza turned out to be a sweet corn, cauliflower, onion, pea and mushroom concoction mixed into not so much a sauce as a strange coloured watery liquid. I've had more chicken in a beef pot noodle. I truly believe they used what was left of the evenings food and attempted to sell it to us drunken chumps, safe in the knowledge that we weren't likely to return that night to complain. I am most disappointed with what they charged us over £40 for and will not be returning.

This Restaurant does not have a licence to sell alcohol, but they are more than happy to let you bring your own. I have been with friends on about six occasions and each time we have been greeted politely and the service has been good.The food was very good, I tend to have the Tandoori my friends go for the Curry's or the biryani non of us have been disapointed or had reason to complainThe food is very good value for money

Our first visit was a takeaway which was really nice so thought we would book for valentines night. We were sat next to the door which was really drafty and cold. The place was full so wasn't expecting the food to arrive to quickly. Ordered poppodoms to start then our curry dishes, my partner's lamb curry was to chewy and fatty, he didn't enjoy it at all, my chicken tika balti was just ok. We didnt receive the service we expected, the waiter came out with a trolley full of dishes and delivered to our table and others at the same time, so obviously wasn't has hot as we had hoped. Would have a takeaway again but never a sit down meal, cold, no atmosphere and couldn't wait to get home.

Staff were very attentive and friendly. It was our first time here , I have never fancied it but my son has been several times with rugby friends and rated it so we thought we would go. We would definitely go again and plan on ordering from the takeaway menu soon. The food was tasty and good value .

Possibly one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. Traveled to Hull to visit friends and they suggested this gem. From now on every time we visit Hull I will eat here. Top notch. Thank you.

Was part of a large party. Very enjoyable evening. Relaxed atmosphere, unhurried. Waiters friendly and welcoming, food amazing - decent portions and delicious, served promptly. Also great value. Slightly different concept bringing own alcohol but it does make it considerably cheaper of course. Wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Went out with load of mates for works do.Quite possible the best Indian meal I have had for ages, not one-off us didn't enjoy what we had. Service was top notch.

I was invited to join a group of very good friends here to celebrate a special birthday, before this I didn't even know the restaurant existed;! It was a pleasant surprise. We were greeted at the door by friendlly staff and shown to our table. The food was delicious and I shall certainly go there again. There were 10 of us and the food all arrived at the same time. The pink yogurt raita was lovely. You are allowed to take your own booze and pay a very small corkage charge.

great place with no licence to sell alcohol which makes it a fair bit cheaper taking your own wine and beer in. food is usually really good too. friendly staff and they can sometimes squeeze you in on a weekend even if you forgot to book.

My family have been using this restaurant for the past 18 months or so. Great food and the service is excellent. Bring your own alcohol is a bonus. Also get takeaway food and it's really good. The red mint sauce for the onion bhajis is amazing.

Quality food with courteous staff. 'Bring your own alcohol' is an added bonus and prices are reasonable. Never had a bad meal yet.

This is a great Indian restaurant! The food is incredible and is one of my favourite places to eat. The food is very tasty and you can bring your own alcohol as well !

we visited here with 6 people on Tuesday but we're first let down by time from the time to ordering to starters it was 30 minutes to main course another 35 minutes ,the actual food quality was ok

Just been here for the first time and that was as good a curry as I've had in a long time.I normally have a bhuna but our waiter recommended I try a Korai which he would adapt slightly so it was spicy but not hot and it was fantastic. My wife had tandoori prawns and they made a sauce for her as she doesn't like really hot ones and she says it was excellent.Really can't fault it. Full marks for food, service and atmosphere. Will be going again.

I can't rate this place enough, I've been going years and it only gets better. The staff are amazing, we were the last ones in and were talking to a gent with glasses and a gent called Tariq (sorry if its not spelt that way!) Both wonderful and very hard working. the food is amazing, the place has a brilliant atmosphere and is to everyones budget (especially great on the tuesday offer of 4 courses for 10.95) plus you can take your own drinks soft or alcoholic. I would highly recommend and always go back again.

I visited Eurasian on Tuesday night when they had a 4 course meal deal for £10.95 it was my first visit to the restaurant and it won't be my last, I enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Brilliant value for money and to top it off you can take your own alcohol :) yum!

Went to Eurasian last night and as usual had a fantastic meal in pleasant surroundings served by lovely helpful staff.We had the Tuesday night four course meal which was top quality and terrific value.We have been many times before and intend to go many times in the future.Consistently superb.

Love this place have been going for years and gets better and better, not only great food but great value too!They offer chef specials that arounf £2/£3 pound more but worth it completely! Great service, and taking your own drink is an bonus, your never rushed and when i go with my partner/family/friends we treat it as an all nighter. Always reccommend this place and people are never disappointed :)

on tuesday 6.30 ordered home delivery -caller to check on our ordered at 7.45 be told it will be with in us 10 min and put the phone down without even asking which delivery was it or what the address !! food arrived almost two hours later and as expected it was cold - there is many places that do better then that.

we have visited the restaurant on tuesday night which the do special offed every tuesday,.The was very busy and limit staff on that night service very slow .and lots young people bring the case of beer drinking.am not happy ,food was great.

Went Saturday the 25 th April. Group of eight. Understandably busy but having arrived at eight and still not been served any food by ten gave up and left having no drink left and unable to buy any as they have no licence. So can't comment on the food. literally the worst service I've ever had in a restaurant. Some of our group stayed and eventually started eating at half ten.

We have eaten her loads of times , and have had deliveries , I ordered our meal at 7.22pm . It Still hadn't been delivered at 8.55. No driver available to deliver it , waiting for one to come back . They take ur number , so why carnt the ring you to explain . Any way ordered canceled bad customer service .

after hard on work in north sea,come home to enjoy weekend ,we go to have a hot curry and a pint,we didn't know the don't sell alcohol,because the are muslim my friend have to go out get some can which i don't like it,food is ok ,

this was a terrible experience .the food is full of oily on the top of dish ,the place like 60s waiter look talking to mobile twice a restaurant with no alcohol ,customers has to get buy the drink from shop no no never will go again

My family love this restaurant, we have been going regularly for the last couple of years.Staff are always polite, friendly & helpful in explaining what the dishes are. It's a great restaurant for all ages, my 3yr old grand daughter & 74 yr old mother love it. The food is really good, never had a bad meal there, it really is one of my favourite places to go, we travel a lot, & eat all over the UK, we always compare it to Eurasian.The restaurant serves soft drinks as it doesn't have an alcohol licence, so you can take your own.There is a Morrisons directly opposite the restaurant if you forget!! There is no charge for corkage.Despite people being able to take their own drinks in, we have never seen anybody drunk.If you want good food, great service., then go to Eurasian
