Franco Manca in Kensington and Chelsea

They have squeezed too many tables in so the experience for the customer is not as good as it could have been. One of the waiting staff, an older man than the rest was very abrupt and rude. The food was good but I would not go back due to the reasons I have mentioned.

Food was great. Quick as well. We had a number 1-8-9. All of them were very good. The homemade lemonade was a treat.

I’ve visited this branch several times, and each time I’ve been disappointed. This visit was the final straw. I understand it was busy and noisy, but the staff member was quite rude when she couldn’t catch what I was saying. She was cold and unfriendly throughout. The pizza was as bad as usual…tasteless, cold, and with only two small basil leaves on top. Honestly, I’d rather pay £5 for a ready-made pizza from Waitrose than spend over £9 for this.

We have had pizza all over the world, and this was literally the best. I had the garlic mushroom and truffle pizza and added beef carpaccio to it, and wow!!!! And the misses had wild mushroom and ham and that was also perfect. Will definitely be visiting next time we’re in London ❤️

Presi dalla disperazione dei pasti precedenti (da burritos ad hamburger, patate fritte e cibo spazzatura), abbiamo ceduto alla tentazione della pizzeria ed e' stata una mossa azzeccata visto che abbiamo mangiato una pizza buonissima (spesso in Italia non ne mangiamo di cosi' buone) a un prezzo piu' che ragionevole in una citta' come Londra e nella zona in cui questa pizzeria si trova. Ottimoanche il tiramisu' e la cortesia del personale. Grazie e avanti cosi'!

A meal to remember, thanks to Chef Andrei! Really nice spot for pizza. Amazing authentic napoletan pizza made on the wood fired oven and very friendly service. Everything about this experience was fantastic. Would return soon for sure.

Great place. Seating was a little tight but we were 4 + 4 kids and 2 prams and they really helped us stow them away and there's enough room on the stools. Cosy atmosphere and good wine but the pizzas are amazing so go just for that! The Franco Manca special, no. 8 was perfect.

We went to lunch and everything was amazing. The pizza was delicious and all the staff were attentive and friendly. Thank you Gerardo, Felice and Maria. We will come back for sure whenever we came back from holidays.

The vibes in this little place where immaculate, rooted into the Italian pizza makers tradition with a careful selection of fresh and original toppings for all the various taste . Walked—in a bunch of days ago and I was greeted by Gerardo, don’t remember the host name but she was lovely too and super attentive. What to say , I will definitely come back with my family to taste that amazing pizza. You could tell that the waiters are very well trained and knowledgeable about what they are selling. I ate at FrancoManca's restaurant in South Kensington the day before yesterday and it was fantastic! Very good pizza, very light and delicious pizza dough! Although the place was Busy, the staff was well organised and friendly throughout, certainly thanks to the brilliant organisation and professionalism of General Manager Gerardo. Value for money I would say EXCELLENT! A nice 5 stars with praise for this restaurant and for the spectacular pizza!

My two friends and I made reservations for their Christmas promotional menu (£25 for four courses), and we were aptly served with typical Italian enthusiasm by the staff (it’s good in case you’re wondering)! Portions for the mains were big, and they were so nice to provide a box for what we couldn’t finish. Personally will recommend going for the chilli dip also. A really good 2-hour dinner spent at this branch.

Franco Manca in South Kensington is one of my favourite Italian restaurants in the area. The staff makes you feeling at home from the moment you walk through the door. Gerardo, the general manager, welcomes you with and smile and looks after his clients with great care.

So disappointing! We weren’t given a pizza cutter and it seems no one was so it was a struggle to cut the pizza. The pizza was burnt at the bottom but floppy and soggy. There was also 0 taste. I bought the 3 sauces for £5 which were also tasteless! I picked the vegan garlic mayo, nduja mayo and the Cacio e pepe and all were again, tasteless. My friend ordered the garlic bread and she said the same thing. Raw garlic was used on top of the garlic bread which made it taste bitter. My other friend ordered a pizza and also agreed with me about it lacking any flavour. She said the garlic mayo tasted like sour cream with raw garlic added. Everything tasted like it needed salt and pepper at the very least! Was very bizarre and bland. Overall, would unfortunately never come again.

Below average pizza. Arrived cold. Really not great at all. Been to Franco Manca quite a few times at different locations over the past 10 years and it's always very underwhelming, especially compared to pizza in Italy or even take away delivery pizza in the uk. Not expecting to go back, hopefully won't.

Waited for 20 minutes, asked to order and was told the till system is down. They took a drinks order but nothing arrived. Chefs were making pizzas for themselves and closing down the kitchen. Still no information after another 20 minutes, so we left. Completely useless management - at least tell your customers what's happening. Preferably take orders on paper and wait for the till system to come back. Maybe take cash, or if all else fails, provide some good will pizzas!

I visited the restaurant recently and it was a lovely surprise of how great and attentive service was and the food was delicious and well presented. Tried last night for the first time at Franco Manca. We walked in with no reservation on a busy evening and were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Impeccable service from the start and throughout. Amazing pizza especially no 9 and veg plater. will come back soon. Thank you guys for the wonderful hospitality.

Food aside, the service is pretty dreadful. Clearly bored and disinterested waiter daydreamed while taking our order, with our inevitably receiving too few pizzas, and being asked whether ‘we were intending to share them’. Then…when realising their error, advising us that the missing order was ‘on its way’, only for it to arrive when the others had half eaten their meals. Then, an eternity to get the bill as the same disinterested waiter kept forgetting our request. For what is the automatically-applied service charge intended; seemingly to simply boost wages rather than providing service? Come on you shower, stop wrecking the ‘eating out’ experience for your customers. Otherwise we’ll have our pizzas delivered.

The stuff is polite and they do have very Good Quality food, price is fair. One thing that effect our experience is that we have waited a bit too long, but it was 19:30 so it's rush hour, once we asked to check on our order they did try to get it faster. (took 20+ min for 1 focaccia and 2 margaritas to get to the table), hope they will pay more attention to the client in the restaurant than to the delivery orders 🙏🏽 overall good experience and recommended place to go to. 7/10

We went for a quick bit on Sunday . Maria , the manager , she was a Star from the beginning to the end . She gave us a very nice welcome . Perfect table . We asked for quick service and the service was fast and professional . The pizza was amazing as usual in Franco . But what made the difference was the service . Maria was very attentive , professional and always smiling and chatting with the customers . Maria , you really made our day . Thank you ❤️

It’s been a while since I’ve eaten at an Franco Manca, but I’m glad my friend suggested we eat here this evening. The menu has expanded and there was a decent choice and a wide selection of specials available on the board. The order was taken quickly by friendly staff and was served with welcome haste. I heartedly recommend the Halloumi based pizza - wonderful! The deserts are worth tasting as well - just don’t make the mistake of sharing them! Recommend this branch of Franco Manca without hesitation.

It is not my first time ordering or eating at FM tonight I have ordered a simple margarita it came to frozen barely cheese and the worst part was completely row from the bottom I could smell the row dough 😭🤢🤢🤢 I called to tell them what have they sent me and the staff told me sorry put a complaint !!!! And what about my money that I have paid ?! And the pizza straight to the bin, I’m coming tomorrow to get another pizza thanks you

Food was mediocre, Korean bbq special had just a sprinkle of meat on it, took nearly an hour to get pizzas, waiter was completely unapologetic, cramped little place, gone downhill, don't recommend

Was unable to enjoy the food due to the lack of it being cut prior to being served. Had to struggle to cut a pizza with a table knife the entire time. Not to mention, when I went over the receipt I saw an optional service charge that was not disclosed. I would not have had an issue with it and paying had I have known. I think it may have been due to my friend and I's age that they thought it would be fine as we wouldn't say anything. I would not recommend visiting this place.

Food was nothing special, took ages to get the waiters attention for the bill. There was a service charge that was meant to be optional however this was not optional as we were already charged with the service charge. Pizza was difficult to eat as it wasn't cut before being given to us and we only had a table knife and fork along with the rim of the plate having a slope to it making it difficult to cut at all. Would not recommend.

Really bad service. We waited almost an hour and they prioritised delivery orders over us, and didn't give us any updates about our food, or even bring the starters. There was only one person taking orders and they couldn't be bothered at all.

Sad to see the rapid decline of what used to be one of the best quality/price pizza in London. They clearly changed the mozzarella and the tomato sauce in the pizza since the last time I went 2 or 3 years ago. Slightly declining in an average pizza. Though still good (hence the three stars) it’s not the same quality as it was before

I had an exceptional dining experience at Franco Manca South Kensington . The service was outstanding and impressively fast. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who made excellent recommendations for starters, pizza, and a truly amazing tiramisu. Kudos to the manager and the entire team for their fantastic work. I will definitely be returning!

I go to London at least once a month for work and I always have diner at Franco Manca. Nice atmosphere and very nice food not very expensive. They have change the menu and the have more pizzas and starters. Lorena, the Spanish waitress is always very welcoming.

The food was amazing, this one particular server Marko was extremely kind and caring. He helped me with the menu as I have allergies. 100% recommend.

Went here for lunch today with a friend who has a problem with gluten. Franco Manca's is normally a safe bet because they have the GF bases. Not been to this particular branch before though. We waited many minutes to be acknowledged despite the two staff looking at us. We chose to sit outside but that might have been a mistake. 15mins after sitting down we were asked if we were ready to order but we hadn't been given menus yet. Eventually got the menus and ordered drinks. They had run out of the Cider. Drinks arrived promptly but then no food order was forthcoming so I went inside to order. We had 2 of the same pizza but one of a GF base. A salad. And 3 dips. They didn't have the garlic dip or the stilton dip. So I asked for mayo or an alternative and was told bluntly that 'we don't have anything'. Fair enough, if they've run out there's not much they can do about that! So the salad came quickly but no cutlery so we started picking at it with our fingers (both hungry)! Pizza comes looking great so we tucked in. 2 slices in, I realised he didn't ask who was having the GF base when he put them down, so I called him over and asked... Turned out neither of them were. Luckily my friend isn't deathly allergic and had only eaten 2 slices. Her pizza was remade so was a bit behind mine but they were very quick. We went in to pay the bill because nobody appeared and it seemed expensive but there was no till roll in the receipt printer so I'm not sure what we were/weren't charged for. By then we were pretty ready to leave and went and found an ice cream!

This was my very first time in a Franco Manca chain and I was pleasantly surprised . I was expecting less but I had more. The beef board along with the smoked burrata was really good to start with and the service received by Felice was exceptional . I'll definitely come back and recommend it to friends

Pizza buona con ingredienti freschi e genuini ad un giusto prezzo considerata la media della città. Ci ha accolto il simpaticissimo Michele che ci ha aiutato e consigliato nella scelta che ci ha pienamente soddisfatto!
