Absolute rubbish service, walked in and waited to be seated not feeling welcome at all. Then waited around 15 minutes for order to be taken . Pizzas were Oright but both me and partner felt sick after eating this.

Popped here on our last night in Lincoln. The atmosphere was lovely with friendly and helpful staff. Did not have to wait long for our food, pizzas, and all the extras prepared fresh in an open plan kitchen so we could watch all our food being made. Definitely will be visiting next time I'm in Lincoln! Keep up the great work!😁👌

There were plenty of tables cleared to sit at, but we and the other people waiting were left standing for 15 minutes before we were acknowledged. Once seated our order was taken. We noticed that our pizzas were given to the wrong table, then given to us. The pizza were tasty, but only just warm enough. We had to ask for our missing garlic dip. We had ordered red wine at £8 a glass. It was served in a water tumbler. This is unacceptable. We like Franca Manca pizza, but up your game this is not acceptable.

Great pizza, really good staff who are up for a laugh (shout out to Hannah!) Good atmosphere too, kitchen visible with a wood fired oven - can’t ask for much more!

The pizzas are usually great here but today they were soggy and the dough was undercooked. Although staff were friendly they were slow to take our order, and when we needed things were too busy talking to the chef, our server checked in with us when we were nearly finished which by then was too late, he cleared my friends plate whilst I was still eating. We also both had our coats on and were clearly finished and it took them ages to offer to bring the bill.

Food was the best pizza iv ever had , nice and cheesey , hot and home made Service was very quick , i had my pizza in under 10 minutes and the staff were super friendly , Atmosphere was quite warm on a cold sinter day with the delicious smell of pizza in the air , chill and relaxing music in the backround

I was very pleased with the service. Ana was very professional and good at her service. Our foods, desserts were prepared very quickly and the pizzas prepared by Ella were very delicious.

I had an amazing experience at Franco Manca in Lincoln. The No. 9 pizza, featuring Italian smoked beef, mozzarella, Franco's grand, wild rocket, capers, and a lemon dressing, was a deliciously unique take on sourdough pizza—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I had dinner at this Italian pizzeria tonight, and it was an amazing experience! The pizza was absolutely excellent – perfectly cooked, with authentic flavors that reminded me of Italy. The staff were outstanding, especially Hannah, who went above and beyond to make our evening special. The vibe of the entire team was so welcoming and positive, it makes you want to come back for more. Definitely a place I’ll return to – highly recommended!

First impressions weren't great. Upon arrival my wife asked the server if they could fit us in. Rather than replying vocally she just nodded at us slowly. Maybe I'm out of order for finding that irritating but I do think a polite response would have been more welcoming. We were show to a table where we then sat for about 15mins before the same server came over to take an order. While I was giving mine she zoned out distracted by something going on outside. She did apologise. My wife and I ordered a no. 2 pizza each and a side of garlic and mozzarella bread. I had to walk to another table to get cutlery for the two of us. Another server spotted me and said they had been too busy to set the tables properly. It was nice of her to explain but still no apology. My wife's pizza was okay. Nothing special. Mine however was soaking wet for some reason. The best way to describe it was "sloppy". The garlic bread just tasted strongly of oil. So much so it overpowered the taste of garlic. All in all a pretty poor dining experience for a meal that cost the best part of 50 quid for 2. Never thought you could get pizza wrong.

Me and my friends had an amazing experience at Franco Manca and the food was absolutely delicious. We were served by Alex who was extremely lovely and even gave us recommendations for next time.

Absolutely brilliant, pizza's are amazing, fresh orange juice and lemonade. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and drinks. We will be back. My son is returning with his girlfriend. Staff are really polite, friendly and welcoming. Keep up the good work.

We had two of the worse pizzas we have ever had, anywhere. The bases were so undercooked, they could only be described ‘sloppy’. Ordered two pints of lager and was brought one and a pint of pale ale. This was changed, but how can can you get “two pints of lager please” wrong. Had to use a knife and fork to eat the pizzas! My wife didn’t eat hardly any of hers. Complained when I paid and did receive an apology, “sorry about that”. Awful experience, just a few pence short of £40 for 2 terrible pizzas and 2 lagers. Following this review I was contacted by Franco Manca and they were very apologetic, even offering me free pizzas to compensate. A very good response I think. Prepared to give them another try.

Very rude customer service, wouldn't recommend to anyone who likes to be treated with any modicum of respect.

We had a fantastic meal here on October 9th before going to a show at the Drill Hall. We returned yesterday 05/11/24 with our daughter and granddaughter after telling them how great the food was. So disappointing. My wife had exactly the same meal as our first visit (roast pumpkin salad). On the 9th October the meal was served warm but on our return visit was stone cold. We queried this and were told it was supposed to be cold. Likewise, I previously had the wild mushroom, truffle pesto and burrata pizza and loved it. Second time round the burrata, which should be added room temperature on a hot pizza, was ice cold and made the entire meal cold within five minutes. We did complain and were given a slight discount. On our first visit the atmosphere was fantastic. We had great personal service by (I think) the owner. Not so yesterday. Sadly we will not return to this restaurant or recommend it.

Hannahs service today was truly exceptional. She truly made the experience worthwhile and is a credit to the company, the best example of customer service I've seen in a long while. Keep up the great work and all the best in the future. Enjoy your well deserved holiday!!

My favourite place for pizza in Lincoln, prices are very affordable and the food is amazing. The pizza is fresh and has plenty of filling, the crust is thin and soft which makes it easier to cut. The food is made straight away and you get a nice hot pizza. Plenty of great selections of pizzas and desserts. Staff are welcoming and friendly, downside is that the wait times are long but it's worth it for a fresh tasting pizza. Sometimes staff can take a while to attend you but I don't mind. Would recommend the student deal, which is any pizza from 2-6 with any soft drink for 9.95 which is an amazing deal. Considering the pizza prices ranging from £7-13. This deal is available from Sunday to Thrusday. Atmosphere can be lacking when the place is empty but once it fills up, it's a joy being there. Decor is warm and welcoming with plenty of seating inside for small groups.

Had a lovely meal here today. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Super thanks to Hannah who was very chatty and funny. She made us both laugh and I am sure her personality and demeanour brightens the day of many customers at FM, and it did ours!

Excellent Pesto chicken salad and Tuna salad. The pizza choice seemed limited, and the cheese garlic bread was thin pizza bread and wasn't cheesy or garlicky. Beer choice was very poor. Nothing available from the oven like al forno dishes offered in other well-known Italian chains. We think we'll go elsewhere next time.

Keep it a secret... but this place has just got everything right. Staff brilliant too.

I recently visited Franco Manca and found the overall experience to be a bit mixed. The service, unfortunately, was quite slow. We had to prompt the servers to bring us the drinks we had ordered, which took longer than expected. While the food itself was fairly standard and nothing particularly stood out to me, my partner enjoyed their meal, so it seems to come down to personal taste. If you're after a casual bite and aren’t too pressed for time, Franco Manca might be an okay choice, but be prepared to wait a bit longer than you'd like for service.

Hana was excellent service and very polite

We ordered several pizzas of different kinds plus a pesto garlic bread. They were all well made and were certainly authentic in nature. Flavours and ingredients were good. Unfortunately, our delivery via Deliveroo was too long which meant these well made pizzas were cold by the time they arrived. We feel sorry for the restaurant as Deliveroo has let them down (and our Saturday treat).

Went to Franco Manco on a Saturday early evening - restaurant wasn’t particularly busy but it did take a little while to be served. However, the pizzas were delicious and the overall experience was good. Want to give a shoutout to Joseph for being a great, friendly waiter.

Rubbish service came in tonight at 20:30 really didn't want us in or to serve food. When the pizza arrived plates chucked as us !!! Will NEVER come in any of your pizzerias again. Soggy bottom pizza rubbish! Avoid !!!

Some staff were rude. They had ran out of lots of things. My ham was square cheap ham that they didn't even cut up. When I questioned them about the ham, the member of staff marched off to get the ham to prove that it was cured meat but funnily enough, did not return. My food was cold. The restaurant was cold. The plates were not cleared (the children ate puddings with the dirty plates on the table). Alcoholic drinks were served in children's glasses with a straw (obviously very small). Childrens drinks are easy to tip with huge straw and tiny glasses. The entire experience was terrible and so slow. It lasted over 2 hours. We got so sick of waiting, so we got up and paid at the door as we left.

The Sourdough Neapolitana experience doesn't get better than Franco Manca. It's fast, it's fresh and it's flavourful! Pick your favourite ingredients and devour the thin, light and hot sourdough from the pizza masters. House wines and other homemade drinks to enjoy with the pizzas, and Italian brew cappuccino or the likes of tiramisus and sorbets for afters. A fulfilling journey. The staff is lovely and will make you feel at home. Hannah, Messiah, Joseph, just to name a few who are always eager to help you! Lovely hosts and a great place altogether.

If you don't mind to be completely ignored even though the restaurant is empty, and all together 3 tables were used. Waitress's speed was close to sloth's. We left after not being served at all after 10-15 mins.

We visited Franco Manca for a quick lunch, where the speed of food service matched. The food came out quickly and the pizzas were delicious. The best part of our visit was our attentive waiting member of staff, Hannah. Hannah’s warmth, sense of humour, thoughtfulness and attention to detail meant our whole experience felt personal, authentic and welcoming. Thank you, Hannah!

We popped in for a late lunch this afternoon and the whole thing helped in turning what was a pretty bad day into a lovely afternoon. Food was delicious with a nice variety of options for pretty decent prices, both our pizzas were well cooked with great crusts and fresh toppings all of which arrived very swiftly after ordering. A special shout-out must go to the staff, Joseph and Hannah were super accommodating and made sure we were well looked after, they are a real asset to the restaurant and really put a smile on our faces. If you’re looking for a quick and easy lunch, or a great spot for an evening meal I would highly recommend!

Amazing service by Furdy, A Really nice man he was a pleasure to meet, the pizzeria is beautiful and smells delicious, fresh pizza in less than 5 minutes in their pizza oven. Ella was our pizza chef and was also very friendly. Would highly recommend this place right in the heart of linciln city centre. We are Sicilian tourists usually and this pizzeria is just like sicily. Thank you we will be back!

Extremely rude waitresse, got weirdly hung up on the name of a starter and was really hostile towards us. I could see the manager and chef watching and laughing anytime she was at our table. All round pretty strange experience. Plus the food was pretty average. Would not recommend.

Very poor service when visiting this establishment. Over half an hour for drinks order to be taken, missing food, ran out of pint glasses so people had to have a pint served in two halves. The food itself was average, quick to arrive but Definatly thrown together. I’d reccomend taking your hard earned money to Pizza Express 100m up the road. Automatic addition of a 10% service charge added at the end of the bill ! I do not reccomend

It was a Friday evening, the place was half empty and you had two FOH staff that clearly couldn't cope, as they had one 'large' table. Nobody working was in a frame of mind to move faster than a sloth through molasses. Apathy was fighting malaise, and both were winning. We were there for thirty minutes without being offered a drink. Other tables were clearly suffering. We went elsewhere for fear of all consuming hanger. Might I suggest a thumb of ginger?

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, we had the cured meat sharing platter, franco special pizza, wild mushroom, truffle & burrato pizza, tiramisu and a pecan cheesecake. Pizza dough is fabulous at Francos, both pizzas had good fillings too. Little disappointed with the desserts thats why we've given 4 stars rather than 5 as thought they would have come with a scoop of ice-cream or whipped cream as seemed a little dry without. Have to admit I have had tastier tiramisu elsewhere, it was nice but I wasn't wowed by it. A little Italian almond biscuit would have been a nice touch with the coffees (the latte and cappuccino were gorgeous). Credit to the staff, who were all very welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere in the Lincoln site was lovely, everyone enjoying themselves. We got the added bonus of sitting at a window table, so got to people watch too!! Lincoln is a great city to visit. Would really recommend getting The Fork app as when these deals are on its worth the effort to travel and you collect Yum points at participating venues which you can use off your bill. Well done Franco Manca, we had a lovely evening at your Lincoln restaurant.

Service is always terribly slow

Everything was "OK" bit there are better pizzas around.

This had the potential to be amazing. The setting was great and gives the opportunity to people watch. However, the service was not so good. There was one person who seemed to be doing everything whilst there were a couple of others not helping her at all. It was not particularly busy for a lunchtime, so I would hate to see how long the wait would be when there are more customers. The pizza was not the best I've had and the desserts were disappointing.

Booked in for Father’s Day at around 12:30. Semi busy at this time so it is probably good to book first. Ordered two adult pizzas and two kids meal deals with drinks. Nice pizzas overall, the dough has a great taste with a decent choice of toppings. And you can always add extra. Kids enjoyed theirs with a dessert of ice cream at the end. There was some confusion of what kids drinks were needed as they turned up at the table incorrect and with dirty glasses. *This was amended at the end of the meal by the manager so we didn’t have to pay for the kids meals *

Ordered two pizzas and the tastes were very good👍🏻. The third photo is the chicken (I forgot the name) which was nice, but £7 for this little portion was🤔….. I rather pay a little bit more to order another pizza🙈.
