We are currently staying here. The room is gorgeous. Breakfast is gorgeous. The big problem here is service. Yesterday we walked in and as is the way here tragically had to queue at the bar here to order food and drink. Hardly a luxury experience. The charcuterie platter sadly had just Branson pickle on it. Strangely not a condiment I’ve seen in Europe in a platter. No caperberries here. No cornichon. Hardly any bread, hardly any anything really for the princely sum of £30. It took a bloody age to get to me. And when it did I could have cried. I paid £11 for a martini and I was told. Sorry, there are no olives. Seriously! Go boa jar of olives.

We paid 40 pounds for a meal during a history talk, and it was the smallest meal I've ever seen. Not worth the money at all. Very disappointing

Absolutely wonderful hotel, lounge bar and restaurant! So pleased that it has been bought back to life! Really adds a a touch of class to Bailgate to go with the stunning castle and cathedral.

What can we say... for weddings The White Hart is superb. After the refit they've truly levelled up to be the best in the area. The staff are amazing and the whole experience is superb. We love attending weddings there as the whole process is clean and simple.

Absolutely prestine hotel. Inside and outside. Location is quite literally next to the cathedral and castle. Food places nearby are affordable and if you decide too then there's also a nice fancy restaraunt downstairs Brilliant experience

Went for a girly coffee date. First time here and wow, what a beautiful place! Definitely going again and maybe look to stay in one of their rooms soon.

Great location for the Paloma Faith concert at the castle but not worth £300 per night. The rooms were nothing special. The room we were given was not what we expected or advertised and we were given a substantial discount. The breakfast was outstanding.

This recently refurbished hotel in a historic building is now luxurious and very well presented. Views of the Cathedral if you get in the right rooms and good choice of food on the menus at a good price.

Booked as a treat for partners birthday. Coats taken on arrival, seated and ordered drinks 7.15 Was advised a complimentary roll and butter would arrive once we had ordered. Other tables arrived after us, and although the rolls arrived shortly before them , the table of 2 near to us, got their main meals first (the lady had the chicken supreme). A table of 4 who came in after us were served with their starters and our meal didn't arrive until 8.15 and we had no starters. My meal arrived cold ( fine beans as side dish was hot ) and gravy had started to solidify, where it had been sat. Parnsip was cold as was blade of beef, so stopped eating.Couldn't get staff attention and partner had to find someone to bring it to their attention. Plate was taken away and said that they would sort the bill. Partner said his steak was good. He continued to eat as he didn't want his to go cold. Staff didn't ask if I wanted something else or what they were going to do. My food arrived, reheated, replated and hot. No apology We decided that we wouldn't stay for desert as meal was spoilt really. I went to the ladies and partner paid. He queried bill where staff argued that food was warm! Not sure how they knew as they didn't eat it, and who argues this? A derisory 10% off meal £7.80. And no apology. Had to wait for coats, barstaff didn't know where they were and went to find someone, when staff arrived they asked what i wanted. Nice surroundings as has had a recent refurbishment, good tableware, but service, and wait time was shocking. Probaby wouldn't go again. They seriously need to up their game when it comes to service, as one of the top hotels in lincoln, you'd expect better. As my mum would say, all fur coat, no knickers

Probably the worst bar in Lincoln now, such a shame as it used to be great. Feels like being back in covid with table service only, but with a condescending manager "protecting you from the outside riff raff". It's the Lincoln bailgate mate, one of the kindest places in the UK.

Antler's Restaurant - Very clean, warm welcome. Food was extremely well presented and very tasty. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't know what beers they had on tap so asked me if I'd like to her to go and check. Her having knowledge of this would have been good. Also, when ordering starters, I was told my choice wasn't available. Would have been nice to have been told this before I ordered. Would recommend the food, definitely.

We decided that we would celebrate our birthdays this weekend with a cocktail and meal here. The cocktail lounge has a opulent feel to it with a good range of cocktails to choose from. We then went to Antlers for dinner and it all went down hill from there on. Many items were no longer available on their restricted menu. Service was intermittent at best. Food was mediocre. Would not recommend and will not be going back.

The White Hart Hotel in Lincoln exudes historic charm. The elegant decor, attentive staff, and comfortable rooms make for a delightful stay. Its central location adds to the overall appeal. A classy choice for accommodation in Lincoln!

We called in for drinks, we received a warm welcome upon entering. We have visited before and noticed there had been a full refurbishment. The main bar was very open and the decor is fabulous. The menu was extensive and we enjoyed our drinks. The facilities are immaculate, highly recommended

I dined in at Pizza Hut and found the food to be decent. The pizza had fresh toppings, and the crust was soft, though it could have been a bit crispier. The service was fine, but the restaurant didn’t provide free parking for customers, which made it inconvenient. While the overall dining experience was pleasant, I believe providing free parking would improve the customer experience.

Absolute rubbish service, walked in and waited to be seated not feeling welcome at all. Then waited around 15 minutes for order to be taken . Pizzas were Oright but both me and partner felt sick after eating this.

Its been a long time since i came here, obviously the building is prestigious but that was as far as the pros went. Staff were ok, felt a bit rushed and then when i left most of my food they never came to clear the table, as clearly didnt want to know why id left the food. I ordered a cheese and pickle sarnie. The bread was dry just like chemical bread, didnt seem fresh or homemade. Pickle was from a jar (as i asked if there was sultanas, thinking it would be home made and was told its branstons) coleslaw was bland and at a guess- not homemade! Sarnie was too pickle heavy and had to scrape out as overwhelming. Just very disappointing and over priced for such basic food. Will not be back. Would not recommend

Great little looking place from the outside, but then upstairs you enter a massive space which looks awesome, the food was great although my first choice wasn’t available, the festive pie was really nice If in Lincoln in future it will be a must
