Golden Phoenix in Wakefield

Great take away and amazing food, for me this is the best bean curd in Wakefield. The service was also excellent, will be coming back for more :)

First time ordering from here as I’ve just moved from Leeds. The food was absolutely beautiful and the delivery driver was so nice very friendly and had a great sense of humour. Will definitely be coming again

absolutely shocked with the service as a first time user of your service tonight food came cold and was told it was because delivery takes time food was missing which granted was sent out to me after we had finished eating and was charged nearly 30 pound for salt and pepper box which couldn't be eaten as the chicken was so tough it wasn't possible to bite it. some prawn toast and chicken balls...will not be using again..

Brilliant food, just pick up area and front of house needs some work doing and a link of paint .

Meal wasn't good asked for a curry curry sauce is like paste no prawns or pork just chicken and veg worst meal I've had

Delicious food and great location close to home

Awful fatty meat the curry sauce was that hot you could not taste anything else on the plate, would not recommend much needed improvement waste of money went in the bin

Can't believe I've lived in Wakefield all my life & not tried Golden Phoenix, all others pale into insignificance. It was perfect!

It only a small scruffy looking place from the outside, but don’t let that put you off as they actually do really nice food. I recommend it and they can also make the dishes more spicy for you if you ask

This is our go to Chinese takeaway every time! Quality food, quality service, and the set meals cannot be beaten locally! The fact that you choose your own meals within a set meal is fantastic. There's always loads to go around, a set meal for 2 feeds 2 adults and 2 children with leftovers. Its brilliant.
