£12 BURGER ? .... STAY AWAY! Right guys £24 for what you see in the pictures. To build half of what they give you at McDonald's would cost you £14+ and if the meat was good you wouldn't mind but when I tell you this is the worst meet I've had is a understatement! The £6 mushrooms .. well you would be better taking some from the garden and putting them in milk warm water !

The food was mediocre at best, and very expensive for what it was. I had seafood pasta which really didn't taste of anything seafood related. We were really disappointed as we used to really enjoy it here

Excellent food both in house and take away

First visit to Valentino’s and we were warmly welcomed. The staff were friendly and polite and by 7pm the majority of the tables were full. We didn’t feel rushed or harassed by the staff and they just checked to see if we were happy with everything and whether we needed anything. My husband had the cheesy garlic bread which was like a 10” pizza style and was very tasty. I had mozzarella in carroza which was ok. It came in two triangles and was quite well done on the outside and slightly underdone on the inside for my taste as I prefer it slightly more melted. The tomato sauce comes separately which is a nice touch as you can put as much or little on it as you like. For mains my hubby had a spicy pasta dish which he really enjoyed. I had the chicken in a cream sauce which comes with vegetables and a couple of small roasted potatoes which was enough for me. The chicken was a little bit dry and I’d have preferred a bit more of the mushroom sauce but the flavours were great and it was well seasoned so I did enjoy it. We didn’t have room for pudding and we had a beer and vodka and Coke for drinks. The bill came in at £46 for everything which we felt was extremely good value and we would return.

Amazing customer service, my partner ordered a can of pop and the restaurant called to say what he ordered was out of stock and asked for his preference of a swap. food was incredible, all fresh and hot. Delivery didn't take long at all, will deffo order again.

Well Valentinos this it was not what we did expected from You Last night You lost customer but You know well and I know we did order from You many times but last night burgers was a nightmare just dry meat We just could not finish it it was so bad

We had a lovely meal and the food is fabulous. The room and acoustics are really noisy, making it really difficult to hear conversations even when the restaurant is only half full. We think it would be so good if the management would look into what they could do to improve this, as it would make the experience so much better for customers. Another restaurant we know did this and the difference was amazing.

Birthday treat so chose somewhere I thought special. Good to begin with but what let it down massively for me was the end. Ordered dessert for one and liqueur coffee for me. My husbands dessert came and he duly ate it but no sign of my coffee. After asking the 2 young staff couldn't be more apologetic and came over several times. What happened was a large booking came in and all the service went on them and we were forgotten about. Food was nice but not special enough for a return visit

Can't recommend this restaurant based on our experience which is a shame as the food we managed to get was ok. What I didn't like: I didn't like literally every 5 minutes the staff stopping everything to sing happy birthday to some guest. I think we had to sit through it 5 or 6 times. This was made worse by the fact service was terrible to non existent. The restaurant was not busy but it took 2 hours for our table of 6 to have 1 drink and 1 course. One of the partys food did not get served and had to have the meal in a "doggy bag" to take home. They didn't charge for that meal... small consolation when you've all come to eat together. In 2 hours we didn't get asked for more drinks. We didn't get offered desserts. We didn't get offered coffees..seriously... not once. It was one order of drinks. One course of food and then ignored. Restaurant weren't that bothered. Said sorry but still charged us full price. Not even a drink to say sorry. Well I'll say sorry: Sorry... we won't be coming back.

Quiet evening in the restaurant. Very welcoming staff as we arrived. Waiter called Ryan was very attentive, very friendly and very efficient. Food delicious as usual.

The order for one member of our group was missed off from being made, however the staff were apologetic and polite and didn't delay in correcting the mistake. Overall, it was a very nice experience.

It's a while since we have been to Valentino's Wakefield which is a pity as it was truly amazing! When we arrived at three in the afternoon on a Sunday we had the place to ourselves, but after a while it did start to fill up. I don't recall what everyone in my party had to eat but for me it was Fish Bites (very tasty) for starter and my main course was Pollo Valentino's. Perfection! I had to skip dessert due to lack of space, so I settled for a quiet cup of Earl Grey tea! The atmosphere at Valentino's is also worth noting as being somewhat special. The guests are made to feel comfortable, there is no rushing about, no pressure to order. Everything seems somewhat casual and laid back yet in the backbackground the team at Valentino's are working tirelessly to deliver a first class service. There is only one Valentino's Wakefield and for me they fully deserve a 5+ star rating. If you have never been there, give it a try!

First time trying here, ordered 2 pizzas and a cheesy garlic bread, one of the nicest cheesy garlic breads I've ever had and the pizzas were really nice as well. Food arrived steaming hot and the driver was friendly. Will be ordering again.

Food was nice and came out very quick. Service was great always asking for extra drinks ect .Brought a cake for my two year olds birthday and when we asked at the end for the cake told us you can’t eat it in the restaurant when this had not been mentioned before. Still sang happy birthday but my two year old was very upset not been able to have any off his birthday cake. Knowing this we wouldn’t off booked here and gone elsewhere. Staff did apologise. Just a heads up for anyone going for a birthday as we wasn’t told when making the booking or arriving.

Sunday dinner absolutely fantastic, pricey but worth it. Never had as much food on one plate meat and vegetable heaven. Came with my partner and daughter and my daughter loved the spag Bol, trust me finding something other than chiken nuggets for my daughter is difficult and to see how much she loved the spag Bol means we will definitely be back

Hey, it's OK, went for a quick evening meal at short notice, plenty of tables available, right, the food, its not Ala'cart or fine dining but acceptable, service is quick and efficient and the eating area is nice and airy,,,, only gripe I had was my mini Calzone pizza was very bland and tasteless, so when I informed sever he just grunted he would tell the cook ,,, no offer of apology or reduced bill !! But hey! I ate it so have to pay for it 🤣 go, give it a whirl its ok but a little expensive for what you get.

We ordered without realising how far away this takeaway was. So we were slightly apprehensive. It arrived, not the hottest food, but was still quite hot and was absolutely delicious!! Proper pizza! Not bland like the usual take away pizzas. Tasted like it was proper authentic Italian pizza. Really thin and charred on the bottom and great quality ingredients. Despite the distance, we will no doubt be ordering again!

The portion was so little to compare it to my previous orders of Kiev calzone I looked big but I was only pumped out with air. About 7 little bits of chicken and minimum of cheese. I regret and it was the last time I ordered from this place

I enjoyed my meal, but sadly nowhere near as much as previous order. The cabonara was dry, no creamy sauce and heavy with cheese. The garlic bread was pizza style, not the yummy chunk of crusty garlic bread I had last time. Finally the tiramisu lacked flavour. Such a shame. I'm wondering if new chef or management as the exact same meal previously was £5 more.

Ordered 2 main courses. Received only one and have to wait another 35 min for second one. Also there is two pieces of fish on picture. Received only tiny one and wee bit burnt. Not really happy with order for over £40

Even though the delivery was a little late, I received a phone call explaining why, the food was 100% worth the 10 mins, they even sent a free dessert to apologise. Will definitely be ordering again soon, the pizzas and triple cooked chips are delicious, keep up the fantastic work!
