Extremely pricey while the good is average … charging as if someone dining out some 5star …. Was regular customer but now hardly take away from them … d owner should consider the pricing

Don't understand wht it took so long. Order placed at 7.30, a quiet time & its 5 mins round the corner. Would expect a delivery within 25 mins.

First time I have used and have to say pleasantly surprised food was hot on arrival tasty and a good portion will definitely be using again 5 star

not sure why a basic food order takes close to 75 minutes to prepare and deliver. Food was nice but length of time from ordering to receiving is putting me off ordering again.

The restaurant forgot my drink but my delivery driver went out of his way to bring me a drink which he really didn’t need to do. Very lovely and showed great customer service

Dry stale fish, I could see that the batter was refried again as it was hard, was unable to eat more than half of it, dry chips, absolutely terrible as have been before, definitely will not be coming back. Went in hungry, still hungry…

Ordered some food, and it came so beautiful and fresh! I ordered 2 bottles of Pepsi, and the store forget them (it was super reasonable as it was a very busy day.) A worker came to my house and politely apologised and gave me my drinks along with an extra. Such lovely people! Such lovely food!! Will definitely come here again, worth a try! ❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cold food. All of it apart from the curry sauce. Also saveloy meat was brown inside and not pink like other chip shops. Wanted a quick takeaway but was over an hour and cold and could not eat the saveloy

£13.60 for a large cod which more like a mini and very dry. very disappointed.

Nice fiahnajd chips as always but this time my son was not a happy bunny and the lady behind the counter gave some lollipops without any prompting. That's customer service. Helped the walk back home a huge amount. Small things that parents notice! Good job!

If the food was hotter then it would have been near perfect ( i put it in the oven for 5 mins ) Chips, Sos in Batter the fish was lovely so was the mushy peas the mix kebab meat was spot on. As long as your doing 40% on a Friday you are my go to place ...

Ordered with all correct details not delivered for 1 hour 30 mins later after they sent it to a random address that wasn't on The order and then when phoned told deliberately it would be 5 minutes just to save face then made to pay full with a sarky women that was as much help as a chocolate tea pot

Food was OK, nothing special, portion size for price paid was disgraceful £7.50 for fish , chips & curry sauce, would not have filled up a child. There are better chip shops out there where portions are bigger and price is cheaper. Sorry but I will not go there again

As a local chip shop the food constantly great. I tried a piece of SFC and chicken doner burger. Tasty piece of chicken and quality chicken doner burger which was good size and filling.

food was luke warm at best..fish wasn't fresh. The chips were soft .( didn't seem fresh ) despite leaving a note asking for fresh fish at the very least and extra salt and vinegar ... couldn't taste any salt and vinegar . burger was ok . was missing lettuce . mixed kebab tasted ok .shame it wasn't warm/hot

The fish is amazing, but the chips are horrendous I've stopped going there now just because they are that bad, always stale. The workers are great but it seems like the owners are so grumpy and not welcoming at all, like it's a chore that people are coming to buy their stale chips but nevertheless the fish is amazing so if you're going to buy fish! On its own I'd 100% recommend it but the chips your better of eating stones with the fish

Usually really happy with the food from Highfield Chippy and order most weekends Today however the food arrived late the chips were cold and overcooked kebab meat over cooked cold and arrived without the garlic mayo dressing My neighbours food too arrived on the same order cold chips Really disappointed Nowhere near the usual standard Feeling really ripped off to be honest

Went there today first time to get small cod and chips. The portion size was great, the chips were nice and soft, the batter of the fish was crispy and overall was delicious! The price is reasonable too! Would definitely recommend!

Burnt,hard and flavourless battered sausage, food tasted like it had been sat all day not fresh at all! Should be ashamed for someone to happily provide this for their customers.

soggy pie, very dry and hard spring roll and some chips were hard in the middle. this used to be one of the nicest chippies around but this is the 3rd time the food has been awful I won't be ordering again!!!!

Can't go wrong, was previously rated top 10 fish and chips in Birmingham. Not too greasy, nice batter and chunky cod. Chips taste great with their curry sauce. Tinned roes good too. Service's top.

Southern fried chicken very very dry and hard ....chips terrible ....usually order here all the time but the quality has been slipping for a while....think they've reach rock bottom now.

Enjoyed the meal. Delivery was 20 minutes early, which wasn't a problem but we were not made aware that it was going to be early.

Takeaway or delivery available. A few times items have been incorrect or missing but email sent and problem rectified to satisfaction. I order items separately as the portions are better. Online ordering is easy. Delivery is quick. Instructions followed. Food satisfying.

food was missing from order, chips wasn't seasoned and under cooked. I used to order a lot from here but this had happened a couple of times now, I won't return.

The kebab was extremely greasy and the pitta wasn't cut so that the meat was inside, it was just thrown on top and was all soggy! Expensive for the portion size too. The chips weren't great either......won't be ordering from here again 👎🏼

Didn’t have massive expectations, and had my air fryer ready to heat up my fish and chips. No need though - they were lovely and hot. Just needed to add a bit more salt. Delivered right at the beginning of the time frame promised.

The most beautiful battered fish. As a chef I can tell the oil was fresh. Partner had a kebab.. it’s fragrant and juicy.

Ordered late in the evening but never had as bad a range of meal options as this time. Chips were inedible. Scallops not much better. Chicken breast was cooked beyond limit. Usually excellent but this time it was very poor.

It’s only our 2nd time ordering we had dinner meat and chips, I’ve not had it without a lot of grease before it was so nice chips were good donner meat delicious not an ounce of grease. I would recommend to anyone to try here this is our new fave place to go I’ve no complaints. Thank you

Ordered a large curry sauce and the pot was tiny, very tight with quantity of sauce. Ordered a small pot of mushy peas too, the was ridiculously small. They need to invest in bigger sauce pots. Sound silly, but it ruined my food as I find chips can be dry without it. But overall food was nice and came quick.

I had mixed meat and chips in a tray , I got home under 3 minutes with my food . The meat was almost stone cold , and the chips were not much warmer, I haven’t used this place for a while, it used to be really good . Not now .

Over 2 hours post order , too late to eat

Chips were hard and crusty and very small with very sharp pointed edges, mix kebab meat was warm not hot and I ordered chilli and garlic mayo sauce and got Nothing.

Owner appears to constantly be in a mood and the prices keep increasing despite the portions getting smaller. Small chips, Currys sauce and a can of pop £5.00 Just look at the size of the curry!!!

I moved to the surrounding area 2 years ago and I've been looking for a decent chippy. I'm glad I've now found one!

This has been my local chippy since I moved into the area in 1992 aged 7. Food has always been consistently good. Only place locally to sell 100% lamb donner (confirmed via anonymously calling them and asking). Nice burgers. Tasty donner. Little pricy, but the quality is better compared to cheaper halal alternatives.

I don't think so, looked busy but fish must have hung around from lunch time, the fish was stuck to the batter, dried up and uneatable.
