Come to The Stag & Three Horseshoes for some drinks and food. I had a lovely greeting from the bar staff and Dan one of the bar staff helped me with a drinks recommendation I was intrigued on trying but was unsure about. The other staff members were also very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and the service was fast, couldn’t fault it at all. Overall it was a lovely night out and I would be happy to return.

We go to the stag regularly and the food is always very good value for money. The staff are all excellent and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Kelly is one of the team who deserves a special mention. She always makes sure that everything is good. She will go the extra mile. I did complete a survey recently and wanted to name Kelly but unfortunately I couldn’t remember her name!!

Popped in for food with my lad.... place wasn't overly busy but seemed to take ages for the food to come out. Once the food came, I was totally disappointed. toasted burger bun, more like burnt buns and dry...... Definitely won't be returned again

Came for festive menu and was one of the worst things i’ve ever had, never normally someone to complain but the table was not even wiped before we got there, the turkey main was just processed sliced turkey like you would get from a supermarket etc with frozen roast potatoes, one of the worst meals i’ve ever had. Desert was fine, starter was very below average and cold. Awful.

The pub itself was really cold even though they said the heating was on. I had the mega mixed grill. The steak was really tough and the rest was dry. Also the toilets weren't very clean. The whole place looked like it needs decorating!

I've often visited this pub in past for a meal. This time they catered for the gathering after my Dad's funeral. We hired the private room and everything was good. My only criticism is that they charge now for the room when the catering and drinks purchased should be sufficient especially during the day. We also held the gathering after my Mom's funeral here as the outside doors could be left open and in July 2020 that was a bonus. This year I've enjoyed some normal pub meals here with family. The food is cooked to order and the servings on the skillets are as they say sizzling when they arrive so for someone who likes their food hot that's brilliant. Last night ,a Saturday, it was exceedingly busy and the only table available was in the side room which also housed 2 large family parties including several youngsters. The whole place was buzzing and noisy so we decided to add to the noise with our general conversation!! The food was as good as ever so well done to all staff for keeping a smile on their faces on a very busy night. Good to see businesses doing well again 👏 I visit for a meal every couple of months. This time 22/6 I pre booked a table but it wasn't as busy as I expected. We all enjoyed our meals and service was quick and staff friendly. There was entertainment but we sat as far away as possible as we wanted to talk, but it sounded good and was well received by those round the stage area. Another visit here to use a dining voucher I'd been given for my birthday. Friday lunchtime and not particularly busy except for older people like us! Food was as we'd expect, cooked to order, served promptly and staff all efficient and friendly.

Thank you Rachel and staff for a lovely meal guys and looking after us all! Came to celebrate my nephews 21st birthday and it didn't disappoint. All the food came out at the same time and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely come back again!

Fab atmosphere live singer which was a bonus everyone was dancing even the waitresses Kelly and Betty showing a few of there moves while delivering excellent customer service made everyone feel welcome and checking in on us great value for money lunch was lovely I think a bonus or pay rise would be great 🤭there a credit to your lovely cosey pub see you again soon

We had a wake here yesterday and it was a lovely send off. The food was amazing, the staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for everything. You did everyone proud.

Went here tonight with family usually go one a month and usually quite good however tonight wasn't great first we asked could we have mushy peas instead of garden peas told no we would have to pay for an extra portion never been a problem before. Then we asked for a latte no coffee machine can only do tea or black coffee not sure why only black coffee cause surely there would be milk available for the tea. The lady that we placed our order with was quite miserable. Portion sizes have got smaller..overall wasn't a great experience and will probably give it a miss next time try somewhere else.

Food was OK, and so was service if you order by app. A mistake was made with my food order but rectified reasonably quickly. Very busy on Sunday afternoon and seemed under-staffed

Paid a visit on our way back from The Think Tank Birmingham. Our one daughter and her husband had steak and were happy with their meals. They got our grandsons order wrong, bur rectified. We both ordered fish and fries. The fish was nice, but the fries were cold and tasted like they had been out long before our fish was ready. Would have liked to give an higher star rating as a nice setting and reasonably priced menu, but issues could not be overlooked.

Recently hired the function room for an event, the food was amazing and everybody said how much they enjoyed their food and for such a big order everything came out hot and was really enjoyable. A big shout out to the lovely waitresses who brought our food out too, they were very patient and worked so hard. And to the people behind the bar, you really were all great and the service was brilliant. Will definitely be hiring again in the future, and will highly recommend it to others. Thank you again!

We booked our food 10 days in advance and our was all delivered to our table almost an hour later and longer for others in our group. The atmosphere gets a 3 because we were there and created our own atmosphere.

This was a birthday family meal for 4, all adults. 2 meals arrived at least 7/8 minutes before the other two, the starter arrived after the main and two sides were missing so had to wait again very poor service. The staff were all very friendly and apologetic but doesn't rectify the disappointment and two people having to start eating before rest of family else cold food. There were 3 children around aged 8 lying across the floor the whole time we were there who were lucky nobody fell over as very much in people's pathway and nobody asked them to get up very hazardous mostly for the children

Hired back room for a small party, nothing was too much trouble. Good comms throughout and all good came out together and no issues

Lunchtime visit on a Thursday, surprisingly busy atmosphere. Pros: Decent pub food which wasn't too expensive. Fave part was the berry mocktail it's like a strawberry lemonade. Modern interior, plenty of parking, plenty of tables, giant menu with british pub classics, burgers, greek, curries and on the grill. Super desserts with large portions. Cons: No GF starter or dessert options on the menu. No one asked how the meal was. Overall: I didn't expect condiments to be in sachets, curry was great, the mixed grill is a miss (half of it was overcooked), hunters chicken was excellent.

Attended this pub for the first time for a 1st Birthday room was booked and people food choices were took in a week previously ,with the names attached of what they ordered.the food was supposed to be served at 6oclock but starters were being brought out at 545.when some of the guests hadn't arrived or were seated .the staff had no idea whose was what .the mains were sent out sometimes not what people had ordered or not belonging to this party.the chicken was like rubber and the scampi was cold .the steak was full of grisell and was unable to eat.no salt cellars.and not even asked if we had cutlery .pudding didn't arrive .for some of the guests.one guest sent their food back and was left for 30 minutes waiting for their food while others had eatern.poor service and horrible food.to get served at the bar was taking 20 to 25 minutes .will not be recommending this pub or visiting it again .

Came for dinner, food was superb and hot on arrival to table. Bar and serving staff friendly and polite. The stag has a very nice atmosphere.

Food and service were good. However, the cappuccino needs reviewing. It came in a mug which was not full! However, I understand it comes out of a machine, in which case I would suggest it was served in a cup and saucer.

Visited with family to celebrate the life of my stepdad, whose funeral had been that morning. Staff were outstanding, when extra family turned up they suggested moving to a bigger table which was excellent of them. Drinks and food were superb and the new beef ribs went down very well. We stayed an hour longer than we expected as we were so well looked after by all the staff. Many thanks to you all for helping us celebrate the life of a great man. ❤️😁

First time in here for many years. The service and atmosphere was fine but a tad disappointed with the food. It wasn't Well presented and looked thrown on the plate. The food was OK but not outstanding but it was cheap and affordable. Would I recommend? Yes but not for a special occasion.

We came to the Stag and three horseshoes on Saturday 31 August for my grandads 80th birthday. We all had different meals and drinks and everything was tasty and perfect. Our waitress Kelly was super helpful, friendly and attentive. The manager was also very friendly. Definitely would return. Thank you.

It a lovely place. Very welcoming and nice staff and the beer is good and reasonably priced. Love their food love the house sharer and they do takeaways they have updated their menu it is really nice. They have wonderful staff.

3rd visit. First two weren't awful. 3rd was. Food portions are over priced for what you get considering the "restaurant" there's better for cheaper or similar prices. Got a 3 person share meal of boneless chicken strips. You get about 8 pieces for £10.50 The deserts aren't too bad. We tried the new party sundae it was pretty awful. The only saving grace is the pub favourite section 2 meals for £11 but not many choices on it so you end up buying other items. Overall 6/10 staff aren't amazing either. When I commented that I bought a 3 person meal ( choice is 1 2 or 3) she said they get that comment alot it's not what people expect. Therefor the menu should be edited to better clarify its a small portion not meant as a main course or staff should say something when it's ordered. There was no comment of a return n refund even though It had not been touched and was clearly dissatisfied. Ended up going to McDonald's we were still hungry and didn't want to give them any more business. Won't be retuning.

Been a number of times for drinks and food, entertainment on Saturdays is always a good hoot !! Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient staff always on hand, I take my hat off to them as it does get busy. Good atmosphere, food is always served in a timely manner according to how busy it is, always constantly good, good selection of alcohoic/none alcoholic drinks. The fact that the place is still open and thriving speaks volumes in today's climate of a hospitality trade that is declining, keep up the good work 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We tried to book a table online to eat as a family of 4, but the app wouldn't allow bookings on the same day. We also called several times to ask if we could reserve a table, but there was no answer at all despite our efforts. We decided to still go, but we chose not to stay to eat. This pub was exceptionally noisy. We did manage to find 2 table options, but both tables were very dirty and sticky with drinks spilt on them and glasses remaining. It was very obvious that these tables had been ignored for some time, which I'm guessing was why they were empty. After trying to look at the menu we were unable to converse as a family, due to the volume within the pub and so we decided to go elsewhere. We had travelled by taxi to this pub and had to call a further taxi to go elsewhere. This cost was frustrating as we had hoped to spend the evening at a local venue but we were left very disappointed. We won't be returning.

Had a lovely meal here the other day, the service was also very good. Very reasonably priced. All round a great place to eat.

1st time visiting Stag and Three Hourse Shoes Quinton. Never again. Dirty glasses on tables from the night before. Booked a table for lunch was told by bar staff 2 found our own table on the left, names of booked customers was on tables. W had to find our own table. We sat there for 20 mins no one came over to great us. We left and went to Old House at Home Harborne. Greated with a smile at the door, showed to a table and was asked twice if we was ok. Will tell friends and family not to go to Stag and Three Horse Shoes.

Booked a table for 7 this evening arrived in plenty of time was busy which was nice to see table was not good in a tiny spot squeezed behind a large busy loud table but decided to crack on went to bar to order only to be told no food orders were being taken kitchen closed as to the volume of custom if people have gone out of there way to book a table surely this would tell you in advance how busy you are going to be so get staff to cope 😞 went else where your loss get better organised not good to let people down 😡😡

Busy on a Thursday because of sunny weather and special discounts. Some confusion over booked tables but sorted quickly. Chips were lukewarm but the meal was nice. No craft beer so settled for a keg beer.
