Il Bebo’s in Haringey

It used to be Il Bebo but now it's under new management and a new name and menu. Awful food. The crispy calamari was so chewy and chips were so greasy. The menu is a mix of cuisines unlike previously when it was all Italian. Never again.

It has closed down. It is now taken by albanians and name changed to "Tirana Palace".. no idea what they will use it for.

This review is very overdue, but last October my family and I visited this restaurant for my dad’s birthday ahead of a concert at Alexandra Palace. Artan went above and beyond to make it feel special and we had a fantastic evening. The food was also delicious!! We will definitely come back again the next time we are in the vicinity. Thank you Artan and the team for such a fantastic evening!

Lovely local Italian restaurant with very big portions sizes and excellent service

Misleading portions. The starter mixed seafood to share selection is the same as the main course to share. The starter one is for 2 and the main one is claimed to be for 4 people. Unfortunately the amount of food is the same for double of the price. The waiting staff is well trained to defuse information by answering to the question on how big is the portion with: "depending on how you are hungry " which does not justify labeling the same amount of food for a main and a starter with a huge price difference. Avoid those pirates!

Nice and a nice atmosphere food was good. Waiter was pleasant and enjoyed my evening there with friends .

Good quality food, fresh, fragrant, good quality ingredients. The service lady was also smiling and helpful. The pasta was very good, well seasoned, slightly spicy.

beyond me how this place has a 4.7 star rating, honestly worst customer service i have ever had for extremely mediocre food. There was a waiter lady there i didn’t catch her name but she was an absolute sweetheart. The middle aged guy however seemed to have a stick up his bum. We asked for tap water he gave us bottle water we asked to change it he said no he’s added it to the bill and he can’t. Next thing we were eating and he comes to us (bare in mind we have been here for approximately 40 minutes and its a group of 5 girls) he’s like oh you guys are going to have to leave someone booked this table for 4:30. The restaurant is extremely empty and there were people that were there before us that only ordered tap water or english tea and weren’t *kicked out*. It felt like getting kicked out. He was extremely rude too. It’s not worth it there’s alicis up the road and shakespeares not too far away that has amazing service and even better food. was a horrible experience.

My daughter's Another favourite place . We are pasta 🍝 lovers 😋 They offer a good price for the Kids menu . Including a chips or garlic bread. Pasta with tomato sauce Or meat. Orange squash and ice cream. Affordable prices. Colouring sheet with crayons to make kids busy while waiting during preparation the order. Atmosphere is so cozy and warm. The owner is just a wonderful person. Very friendly, helpful and kind. We usually spend there over an hour. Comfortable sofas, nice interior... I love the brick walls inside and the flowers outside, around the entrance door. Worth to visit!!!

Lovely but the chicken was so hard to chew

Hosted my 30th birthday here with my family and we all had a lovely time. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. Ada was very helpful with my booking and was able to reschedule my booking in the nicest way. Highly recommend and will be going back for brunch!

Amazing as always if sadly quiet for a Xmas eve.

Ambience is good. Imagine you’re very hungry and order first in a group of 10. Seafood Risotto. And when almost everyone’s orders arrive, you get Mushroom Risotto. 🙄 So yeah, no choice but to take delight in another round of wait. 😶‍🌫️😵‍💫 Big dessert servings though.

Excellent place! Amazingly tasting food and loved the ambience! Best pizza outside of Italy! Couldn't recommend more.

We found this restaurant by accident and I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious, I had the seafood risotto, other meals were, salmon penne pasta, pizza...yum and a calzone.

Celebrated a work colleagues birthday here and was served by Artan. Very lovely staff member. He was great help and gave us some recommendations. They also serve some halal meat which is great! Definitely recommend this place 👌

It was an alright brunch with two coffees, one orange juice and two breakfast plates for £48. Expensive for the area. It was very fresh but also dry, the vegetarian breakfast had no sauce and the bread came without butter. Got some really hard butter in the end of the meal after asking but it was impossible to spread. I won't go again as I know other breakfast places with better more interesting food, but it was alright. Atmosphere was a 3, it wasn't cosy nor a brunch vibe but more fine dining. If we'd known we would have gone elsewhere. The service was fast and nice.

I had the mixed grill platter which was supposedly for up to 4 people. I shared it with one other person and it was just enough for us. The portion of fries is enough for one person not 4. The chicken and the steak could have more flavour. The meatballs and the sauce were the most tasty item so I tried to use the sauce to eat the rest of the meat. Lovely Mediterranean salad with olives. The lychee rose mocktail was absolutely delicious. I recommend for sure. Staff and service was excellent !

I loved the customer service provided by Artan. The service was really good, he made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Artan has such a great soul, he seemed so happy and seemed to cater to everyone’s need. I couldn’t thank him more for his service. He is so hard working from what I saw at the restaurant. I loved the food. The waffles were soft and sweet just how I like it. He made sure my food was done how I liked it and I’m so grateful for his service and the chef.

Popped in for a dinner before a show at Alexandra Palace and was pleasantly surprised by the warm service from Artan and delicious food. In particular, the octopus was cooked to perfection.

I hosted a birthday brunch of nearly 30 guests and can I just say the staff were absolutely amazing. They were so accommodating to my guests, including the last minute changes to orders. They made sure to meet everyone’s demands to the highest standard they possibly could. And although I was the host the staff such as Artan, Ada, Ardisa and Valeria were helping me keep my guests entertained. All my guests were so fascinated with how kind and sweet they were, even the chefs were so patient and understanding when meals were changed or altered. Would highly recommend this place honestly it’s such a lovely establishment with phenomenal staff, it truly added to the occasion. Thank you so much!

Went here with the wife for an anniversary dinner. We came last year also. I got a pepperoni pizza again with a 260ml glass of red wine and a spiced rum cocktail. The wife just got calamari with mashed potato. I tried my wife's food and it was very nice, can't fault it. My pizza was amazing and I wish pizza hut could replicate the pizza. The red wine was soft and flavourful, the cocktail was surprisingly strong and very tasty. When we walked in there was no one at the door and we had to sort of make ourselves known, whilst eating we saw a group of 5 people come in and look around for someone to greet them, they eventually turned and walked out. The initial service wasn't bad but I felt tension (I was dressed smart but not dressed to impress, unlike the wife). As the night went on, the service felt more natural and I felt more comfortable. I was ultimately happy with the service and felt I tipped accordingly. Would I eat there again? 100% I would. The cost was £79.26 which was decent. The night ended very well and the waiter, Artan, redeemed it for me.

Artan was a super helpful & friendly member of staff. He took our order efficiently & made sure we were happy. This is my 2nd time here & I will deffo be back again.

Had a very pleasant time, was assisted by Artan which made my experience and my mums amazing. He explained to us about the menu, and also helped me with my allergy, which is my most fear when I go to eat out. Thank you, Artan. Staff like make our experience better.

Came here with some friends to celebrate a birthday, and instantly loved it. The actual place was so elegant and pretty, everything was clean too. The food tasted incredible and was made well, the presentation impressed us too. One thing I loved the most was the atmosphere - the service was incredible and the people working there were extremely kind and enthusiastic. One person in particular named Artan was extremely kind to our group too, he showed lots of enthusiasm and also had a lot of professionalism. In general I loved it, can't find anything to complain about. Highly recommend!

Artan welcomed us Saturday afternoon, very polite and welcoming. My friend being a content creator he was patient and helpful. I was disappointed in the food, pancakes was a little dry and my latte was cold. With that being said I look forward to returning and trying the evening menu
