Another phenomenal night at Izgara Whetstone. The food is always superb, not a bad dish. The fish cooked to perfection. The service is great and the atmosphere buzzy.

lovely meal as always. However lots of new staff, and trying to get a clear order was difficult . There is no kids menu, but they said they the would give a smaller portion size, which is fine, however, they kept getting confused with which meal was a kids meal and which wasnt - and we had to go back and forth with the waiters approx 5 times to confirm/ Other than that, it was a lovely meal. My recommendation would be to get a Kids Menu - it can be the same as the main menu but it will just make it clear to them what people are ordering.

Food always of a good standard However the recent increases in price were concerning! Paying £16.90 plus service (£18.59) for a portion of chicken wings is difficult to accept in a local eaterie especially when they are one of the cheapest items to purchase.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and I was not disappointed. The restaurant was busy but the staff were friendly and efficient and the food plentiful and very tasty.

We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. The food and the service was excellent. Very polite and friendly staff too.

Lovely and welcoming service! Mix platter was spot on with really tender meat although from the description I was expecting more in quantity and all the starters were delicious. Great experience will be back soon to try more!

My sister recommended we eat lunch at Izgara, I haven't been before but will definitely be going again. The food was so delicious, the service was great and the restaurant itself is beautiful and clean. We had the set menu which is 2 courses for under £16 (bargain!) I'm a vegetarian so I had the Zucchini fritters to start and the Vegetarian Moussaka for my main. Both were delicious and the portions are very generous. I also had a gorgeous pomegranate mojito. My daughter had the chicken shish and as you can see there was barely anything left. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!

I been with my family, we ordered mix kebab, unfortunately it didn't come with rice, so we have to order separately rice, meat was raw and cold. Portion was as a family. Waitress with the glasses, when I asked him about the starter with hellimu salad, he just straight away told me they don't have it, until I told him that next table was having it and I wasn't sure what does it call, rather than saying no, he would offer me the menu and explain it. Restaurant is look nice and style.

Although a quiet lunch time, typical for the area at that time, it still had a nice atmosphere. Excellent and pleasant service. 4 in our party and we all ordered different dishes and everyone was very happy with their meal. Nice food presentation, nicely cooked and ample servings. Recommended for a casual Saturday lunch!

I've never experienced a place where the food was so completely tasteless. It was truly awful. What made it worse was the management's total lack of concern, even when they saw both of us had barely touched our meals and told them the food had no flavour. They simply didn’t seem to care. Hugely disappointing.

Excellent food. Service was good with one major exception. On both our last two visits the staff tried to serve our main courses before we had finished our starters. Tonight one even hovered over my husband waiting for him to take his final mouthful. The better procedure is surely to serve the starters as soon as possible and then not cook the main dishes until the diners have finished, or nearly finished, eating. It's not as if our table was needed and there was a decent gap between our mains and deserts.

Excellent food and service, reasonably priced with large portions. Cop Shish was very tender and succulent and the Ali Nazik was 'casserole like' and full of flavour. Babaganoush and Zucchini Fritters, plus bread and dips were all very tasty. Highly recommend.

Food was what’s expected of a decent Turkish restaurant but nothing special, a bit over priced, good service. Not really value for money. Not sure if we’d return. We had a Father’s Day meal there and it didn’t really feel special.

Been a very long time returning and loyal customer, the place is the best i can say around and about. One of the nicest restaurants and kind staff, absolutely delicious food. Its a genuine 10/10. I really loved their new lunch menu aswell.

Izgara has always been good, tasty food and warm helpful service. Our last meal went up a level. The starters were beautifully presented and delicious and the mains varied and and flavoursome. I had sea bream fillets which were well cooked and a good sized portion, 2 generous fillets. My husband had an interesting chicken dish. Will be back there soon.

Amazing food, lovely service, and a great owner. Also, they are great with food allergies and help throughout the meal. I highly recommend going there! It's worth any penny. Limited parking but there is a parking lot around the corner from the restaurant and you do have to pay but it's not expensive.

Wonderful food as always and very friendly staff - I love going there but it has become soooo expensive. We had a main dish each, a glass of wine, a coke, 2 desserts and 2 mint teas. The bill? £81! So I will go there less often as it has become too expensive

The ambiance is fantastic, complemented by upbeat music, cheerful staff, and generously portioned dishes. Please try the chicken wings and lamb ribs—they're personal favorites of mine and absolutely worth a try!

Booked Easter Sunday lunch, with family at Izgara in Whetstone, the food as always is very good. The desserts were great too.

Amazing food,great friendly staff

We went to the Izgara Restaurant Whetstone on Saturday evening 16 March 24. The food and service were excellent and without fault. However the restaurant was overcrowded. They managed to squeeze in a table at every nook and cranny and consequently it was more than uncomfortable. At the next table the two diners had starters only and left as it was getting more cramped and confined. Our food was first class but we were unable to stay for dessert and coffee due the noise and and lack of personal space, and were relieved to reach the front door and open space.

I’ve been a few times before and never been disappointed, the food is always tasty and fresh and the staff are very attentive.

We decided to come here for Mother’s Day as a last minute idea, and we are so glad that we did! We not only accommodated for us but also allowed us to have our pram next to the table as we have a newborn baby. The food was incredible, we ordered the lamb shish and it was perfect. The waitress even gave us boiled water to disinfect the dummy that got dropped - so very thoughtful and appreciated as a new mother! Would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back x

Took my vegetarian granddaughter for the first time and she couldn’t believe the choice and thought the food was delicious.

The lamb shish was spectacular we all really enjoyed it. Portions great. The restaurant was only 30% full but the kitchen was all over the place Our starters arrived at least 5 minutes apart - the cold one first, then 3 minutes later hot soups then at least 3 minutes later grilled helium. Why wasn't it all coordinated with the grilled starter ? Very strange
