London Kebaab in Barnet

I love coming here for a meal. The food is always fresh and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. For me, this is the best place in Edgware.

The food here used to be great. However, the last few times I've been there and eaten a kebab it has been below average, not very nice tasting at all. I always eat in at this place and am (was) a regular, so would hope for a nice meal. Last couple of times I've had to leave heaploads of meat on the plate as it's really bad.

Visited the restaurant with my family while we were staying in Edgware in February 2024. The restaurant was very clean, the welcome was very warm and the food was absolutely delicious. We're in Edgware again soon and can't wait to visit London BBQ again! Highly recommended!

First tried this place in 2010 and I instantly fell in love. The place has expanded since then. It seems like it is still owned by the same individual. Food is Delicious and well thought out. I wish they still had the lamb doner but it seems they only have beef doner. Chili sauce is on point and their yogurt sauce is amazing, the best I've had in a while. Glad to see what I considered to be one of my favourite restaurants years ago is still around.

Really nice freshly cooked meat with a good choice / menu. The staff are friendly and service spot on. The Efes lager was nice and cold too. Really good prices and really worth a try. All good and probably underrated this place.

I've been a loyal customer for nearly two decades, accompanying my dad and brother to this place. Surprisingly, I hadn't left a review before. It all began when I was getting my braces at Angel House nearby. The irresistible aroma of kebabs lured us in, and since that day, we've been hooked. Though we no longer live close by, whenever we pass Edgware, we make a point to stop. Prices have increased due to inflation, but £9 for a large mixed Doner kebab that keeps you satisfied for hours is still a fantastic deal compared to other places. Despite the changes, I'll continue to frequent this spot and shared my experience on TikTok at GFOODI3.

Found this place by chance following a visit to Edgware. The food was great. Portion size very good. Should have ordered chips with one of the kebab rather than one each: bit too much chips 🍟. The kebabs came with delicious Turkish bread, humus, tzatziki (seems like it was...Greek I know), chilli sauce and a good size salad. Would definitely visit again

My order here will definitely be my last. The portion sizes are ridiculously tiny compared to the price paid. The lamb shish and doner consisted of a few chunks of completely tasteless shish chunks thrown into a small foil box on top of literally a small handful of doner meat for £15. For this price in any other kebab shop you'd get way more even in Green Lanes. There's no reason to be charging this much money and being this stingy with your very obviously cheap doner meat.

The doner wasn't good. It was VERY fatty, salty and tough to chew. The salad served was not fresh. The bread and dip was the only thing I enjoyed sadly. Place was clean and service was good otherwise.

Awesome Turkish we always get plater for 2 person. It's comes with salad houmos bread and sause.

request an order through uber eat and the price does not compare to the food, they have served me little kebab meat and the lamb ribs do not train meat, it will be the last time I order there.

What a gem of a place, just nipped in for a ‘kebab’ and chips on way back to hotel. Fabulous food, sat in and ordered chicken kebab. Was unexpectedly brought warm pitta bread and hummus whilst waiting which was gorgeous. Chicken came with large bowl of fresh salad with lots of different content. Place including toilet was spotless and staff very friendly. Not what we expected as looks like general takeaway with seating from outside. Very Impressed. Would highly recommend.

My wife & I just had chicken shish wraps, my wife had bone in which broke her tooth, if a child had this could choke & possibly die,mine was OK only no flavour, best thing was the speedy delivery. Not good for our first visit.

Nipped in off the street for something quick to eat with the kids. Received a warm welcome, great service and good advice about the menu options. Family ate: Mixed kebab, turkish salad, hmmmous, hallumi washed down with cold beer - all at a very reasonable price!

Food is not nice at all! The meat had zero flavour and the rice was hard and undercooked! The only decent thing was the bread which you can't get wrong! I won't be giving this restaurant my money again. If I had ordered inside the restaurant, I would have asked for my money back!

I get absolutely everywhere, I even clean and get my hands on food without using gloves, and the staff is not friendly.

Nice place good food enjoyed my diner as per customer service they have to improve a bit and the atmosphere temperature should b maintain as I was feeling cold inside but food was nice thanks definitely recommended and visit again.

Cheap well cooked food in a clean kitchen ,pitta bread and dipps to start, big salad and a meat dish with rice all ,for around £10 per head.

Favourite Turkish restaurant in Edgware. Lovely staff but that is not the treat. It is their portions, really generous and their hot flat bread is the stuff of umami. It is also reasonably affordable. And a nice spot to contemplate the afternoon.

Always a real pleasure dining here! This place is full of life! Haydar and Sezgiun are always exceeding expectations, cheerful and ready to make you feel at home! And they are always doing that consistently!!! Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Apart from mill hill kebab house this place does rise to the occasion with solid good quality kebab. They have a delicious adana kofte which I could recommend everytime.

Called in here last night whilst staying at the nearby Premier Inn. Nice little place offering both take away and sit in restaurant meals with a large varied menu. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The food was as good as any Turkish restaurant I’ve visited around the Uk. Mixed Shish was cooked to absolute perfection and oozed flavour. Absolutely fantastic. Washed down with a bottle of Efes I couldn’t have asked for a better meal. Superb!

They charged me for 3 kebabs £34. Embarrassing and also ignoring the sign they put on about eat out and help out. DO NOT GO THERE

Went to collect the order. One of the staff in the restaurant was very rude with me when I politely asked if they have put naan and salad in the parcel. He rudely said "don't waste my time". I was shocked and surprised with his reply. I did not want to argue and immediately left the restaurant. I have never experienced this. Also my family wasn't impressed with their food standards as it was dry and tasteless (only lamb ribs were ok).

I popped in here on the way home during the daytime, I picked up a mixed kebab and it was the best kebab I've had in months. It was reasonably priced too, I will be visiting again in future.

I ordered it online via Uber’s the chicken wraps and they were awful lots salad in it and tasteless very bad food.

Got dragged here by a few friends. We were the only table in the restaurant and yet the waitress got the order wrong. Then the chef shouted at the waitress in front of us. Not professional at all. Go to Charcoal around the corner. You will not be disappointed there.

unassuming from the outside, but fantastic food and excellent service. Nothing a problem and managed to accommodate a hungry family of nine by rearranging tables and chairs. Great menu, something for everyone. Will be back again.

Heading back to Edgware at around 10pm we were in need of some food and ideally a place to eat in. We weren't looking for a formal restaurant and this place was ideal. Even though we just had kebabs and drinks, the service was great and our meals plated up for us. We even had bread and hummus to accompany our meal. The place looked a lot better than many takeaways, and had decent wooden tables, set out with knives, forks and napkins. It really does go further than most takeaways. The food was tasty too. I don't think I've ever left a tip at a takeaway but it was deserved here. We will be back I'm sure.

We had cold meze, hot meze and a Turkish salad and it was plenty of food for two hungry people. The home-made chilli sauce can knock your socks off if you're not careful. The service was excellent! We will be back next year (we have an annual conference in this part of the world).
