KFC London - Tower Hill in Tower Hamlets

When I was there a few years ago I ordered double bacon on my menu. They didn't give it to me and they didn't give me the money back. The employees were of humble color and that's when I understood everything

On my visit I saw rats running around above overhead of seating areas (after I had got my food) I had sat down to order via my phone app after work, was pretty tired and a staff member had started closing off the area I was sat in but I didn't notice until I'd put my order through, I had to move the barrier he put up to get out at then he started having a go at me and shouting the area is closed, I told him to calm down and asked him why he didn't say anything to me when he was putting the barriers up, he just muttered something I couldn't catch, I decided to leave the miserable so and so to it, the counter staff seemed nice enough, I only got some wings but soon after the same misery guy was moaning at some girls that had been eating in there when they wanted to use the toilet, making out it was such hard job to let them into the loos, as I was having my wings I noticed the rats as well, absolutely shocking state. I certainly wont go back. This would have been early December ish.

They close all their till and on top self-service doesn't print receipts . Tower Hill is full of visitors where no special provision of services for people with disabilities, they are not at all bothered by that. The bunch of lazy and mannerless employee. I really wonder does owner give any attention to this store where customer service is as poor as it could be.

October 2023. Nothing to say about value for money. Very clean!!! Big downside.... Paid toilet December 2024. Still nothing to say about the quality of the establishment. I even put two more stars for the service. Thank you.... There is no charge for toilets... You just have to ask

A real shame of a place, they have no mercy for an 8 year old child urinating on himself and the scoundrel in charge saying that he couldn't go to the toilet to urinate if he didn't consume before!!! Scoundrels

I went searching for a KFC Stuffing Burger for lunch today. Bishopsgate had sold out, so I walked to Tower Hill, determined, and they had one. First impression of the burger upon opening the box was dreadful. The bun looked plain, the chicken and stuffing looked uninspiring, but it was then surprisingly good. The stuffing was really juicy, just the right amount of cranberry. I opted against the double chicken Stuffing Stacker and went for the solitary Stuffing Tower, but made it a box meal. In hindsight, the 1 piece original chicken was unnecessary as it added nothing to the meal, and a Stuffing Stacker would've been preferable. I'd give it an 7/10 for taste and 3/10 for how it looked. The service in the restaurant was quick and well mannered. The restaurant itself is a strange place, in the arches underground, with the sound of the London Underground trains rattling close by. It was clean and tidy though, and looked to have a barrier entry system for the toilets.

Don't go! The place is horrible, worse than a dive. My wallet was stolen there and the staff refused to call the police; There was a strange atmosphere, it seemed like everyone knew each other...

Average food, nothing extraordinary, horrible bathroom, very dirty

It's dirty. To go to the bathroom there is a turnstile, which opens with the ticket. The problem is when the machines don't give it to you, and you have to ask a worker to open it for you, which they do reluctantly. And the women's bathroom was disgusting.

I had lunch there day before yesterday and since then I got food poisoning. I’ve been vommitting since then, got upset stomach and nausea all the time. I couldn’t eat anything day before yesterday evening and yesterday because of this. The service and food quality are horrible plus they don’t maintain cleanliness while preparing food. Just be careful everyone if you eat there.

Got our food via delivery and the food was cold upon delivery as it was delivered about 30-40 minutes after the order was placed - which makes for a poor start, soggy fried food.. Fries were decent, alongside the generous serving of popcorn chickens. But apart from that, the hot wings weren’t hot to us though it was rather tender. Not the best in any case, probably will opt to takeout instead of delivery in future if we do crave for some KFC.

Avoid!! Located in a cellar, you are forced to eat in part of the restaurant under the pretext that it is 7 p.m. and that the service man has already cleaned up!! Said in a very unpleasant way of course! Otherwise nothing exceptional like all fast food!

I recently visited KFC and noticed something strange: my order was marked as completed on the screen right away, even though it wasn’t actually ready. As a result, I ended up waiting a long time, even though the order was “ready” only on the screen. This was frustrating, but they did give me a small bonus for the wait: two portions of fries instead of one and a large drink instead of a medium. Overall, the experience was okay, but the wait was far too long.

Nicely located KFC at the old vaults! Handy for those coming out of the museum.

Just don't get caught using the toilets without paying. Watched them throwing people out..

Food is bad, local KFC. Service is bad Zero atmosphere. Toilets are free for paying customers but you have to get a member of staff to let you through the turnstile. A lot of people just squeeze through and the very small toilet is always dirty because of this.

Very crowded and full of loud teens with attitude. Unfortunately this ruined our experience. Trendy decor and very different vibe from American KFC. Food was good just different from what we are used to.

Me and my family visited to this KFC today. One of the best KFC I have ever been to. The quality of the food was outstanding. I am from Italy. so the menu is quite different than KFC in Italy. But taste is so good. Super friendly staff. They are winning their customers hearts with their wonderful service.

went to the restaurant the staff served us could not have been any more rude.not even a hello or smile. not one word was said.really bad customer service. After the staff basically threw our order at us.unfriendly, the staff love gossiping rather than attending and packing food for customers. I don't understand why they are doing this.we come to eat food after paying and not at their expense.

The bathrooms are dirty, the door doesn't lock. I paid to have access to the bathroom but the Gate nkn opened and then they opened it for everyone with a key and only myself had put in 1 pound.

A subpar food experience, even for a KFC. The atmosphere is gritty and dingy, located in the basement of a plaza adjacent to Tower of London square. While it is relatively clean, the staff are often unfriendly and sometimes downright miserable, as noted by other reviewers. The food is greasy and simply not worth the price. Not exactly the best KFC I've ever had. When I've been in London. The one piece chicken was dry and tasteless and the zinger tower burger was burnt as well as dry. And the corn on the cob was so wet that it fell apart when I bit into it. Normally KFC in London is really good but this was not at all.

This KFC feels a bit grim inside as it’s located inside the vaults, low ceilings and dark. Food is what you would expect from a KFC.

The food was not up to the quality of the KFC brand, cleanliness was very poor, the way of expected taste is poor and the kitchen tidiness as well not appealing unfortunately. Sorry to say that compared to my previous experiences in different countries, here I felt local fried chicken taste.

Average KFC very handy for The Tower of London. But to access the toilets you have to pass through a turnstile.

We were looking for a restaurant near tower of London and found this KFC. The customer service was pretty good, and the food was good. The whole place including the bathrooms were really unique since right across from TOL.

Friendly helpful staff, sometimes delays due to how busy it is.

The staff aren’t interested chatting amongst themselves. The toilets are 50p if your not buying food you have to asked the staff to let you in otherwise, when I asked they acted like it was the most inconvenient things in the world. Definitely glad I didn’t have to pay the 50p the toilets are disgusting piss everywhere cheap loo roll just shoved in the dispenser that you couldn’t get anything out of without a fight! I’m all dark dirty and staff are rude and unwelcoming.

No free sanitary facilities at least to wash your hands from the oily chicken. You have to pay extra.

We received our order cold. After returning to the counter, the person in the kitchen claimed to have taken them out of the fryer recently. We had to insist on getting new ones, but part of the order took 10 minutes to be ready again. Between the paid toilets, the kitchen staff (a certain Karim) who eats the products before serving them to customers or the cold dishes, I can't find anything positive unfortunately...

The toilets here are behind a turnstile. They cost 50p, cash only. This isn't a takeaway KFC. This is a restaurant and the only way to wash your hands is by paying 50p. I got into an argument with a janitor when I attempted to bypass them - I assumed it was only there to stop tourists because who ever heard of a restaurant charging their customers to use their toilets? Whilst not technically illegal since the restaurant isn't open past 11pm and doesn't serve alcohol, considering KFC serve finger food this is inexcusably gross. I bypassed the turnstile anyway and can report that the toilets weren't clean. Whoever owns this franchise is greedy and dirty. Their payment processing went down as we tried to order so nobody could buy food. We waited five minutes but when they started calling IT we gave in. We came here for food and left with an argument.

Food made me ill Avoid Edit. I just read some other reviews (5*) ones and a quick osint finds that it's the staff and their uber eats mates given these reviews . Total fraud.

The customer service is so bad here. A staff called Syed he has no etiquette how to treat a customer. He gave me cold chicken wings and when I asked him to check and return he was so rude. Friendly staff behind the till, and a knowledgeable shift Runner who recommended a bucket deal when we ordered scattered bits and pieces; he made some suggestions which would get us "more" , and for less money. So we did just that! The restaurant was also quite clean, which was nice to see.
