During my visits to London, you have to come and eat here, if you want to feel like you are in Mauritius for a meal I recommend everything is excellent, mine fries briani alouda vanilla, (favorite on the cateless which are borderline better here than those I ate in Mauritius)

The food here is really good, I've tried a number of dishes which have all been very tasty. Service is great, friendly and prompt. The drinks are also good. It gets very busy, and you can tell other customers are also repeat customers. And for Tooting market there are quite a few tables so you can usually get a seat.

Haven't been to Mauritius but the ambiance is that of being on an island, Somewhere exotic, colourful and vibrant, Food intrinsically delicious but prices fair and transparent, Loving every attention to detail in preparing, serving and finally in the eating! I absolutely adore going there, although they may not always have dhaal puri towards the end of the day, the service is always impeccable. We went in the morning, so we enjoyed an amazing service with no crowds of people. Everything we ordered was delicious.

The octopus dholl puri is divine.

food is brilliant but only when visiting the actual restaurant but please don’t order from uber eats , they give u way smaller portions an they never heat it up properly it’s half cold half hot and this has happened ever time i’ve ordered on line!!! it’s a shame but the food is deffo brilliant when hot not cold food poisoning is not ok but il leave that for another review!!!

Absolutely delicious. I had the veg thali which was so flavoursome and nice and spicy. The lamb curry and aubergine pakoras with cabbage bhajis were also well enjoyed and nice portions. 10/10 will order again!

The food were good and well-priced. The chicken biryani feels a little different from other chicken biryanis, but the chicken is tender. Service was friendly even on a busy weekend lunch time.

Ravi very kindly accommodated my partner and I last night for our anniversary, and served up the best Mauritian food ever. I highly recommend the gateaux piment and the dhall puri wraps with a Phoenix beer.

A delightful slice of Mauritian goodies in London. Stopped by whenever in Tooting and found the food is always fresh and in good portions. The Mauritian cakes and treats are equally as great. Ravi is very welcoming. Good food and good vibes! Highly recommended.

can't fault the restaurant the driver drop the good on the road pavement and just pick it up and gave it to me. now the food is all mixed up and not in condition to eat.

Really disappointed with this burnt genoise. Unfortunately, on another previous occasion, the same cake was very stale and hard. It was very clear that it had been baked a good few days (or more) before. If you are selling items that are not fresh, at least inform your customers so they can decide whether they still would like to purchase.

Visited this restaurant many times now, always bringing family and friends and just like me they love the food and atmosphere. I can recommend the lamb curry 😋 👌🏾

I bought a cake from here and some dhal puri, unfortunately the cake had to be thrown in the bin as it had gone off! The coconut was all sour and horrible! Very disappointed

The restaurant offers a nice opportunity to try Mauritian dishes. The food and delively was alright. If I could make one suggestion, it would be for the restaurant to look through the online menu to make sure the pictures, spelling and descriptions are correct (eg, it says chicken cateless is vegetarian friendly - is that a modified version with something else replacing the chicken? I didn't order it because of that, because I wanted meat). Thanks!

Spotted this Mauritius restaurant on my Tooting visit as I left so made a trip back to try it. The food on offer was interesting because they had soup noodles as well as dim sum which is also in soup so tried them both. Both turned out very Chinese in style so that's I wonder if there is Chinese influence in Mauritius. The dim sum soup was interesting as it was literally fish balls and shao mai in soup, however if you google the boulette chouchou dim sum soup it should have chayote vegetable. When, dim sum soup came, there was no shao mai as shown so I was told they were sold out but they managed to get me some. Also I ordered the soup noodles with prawn, lamb and egg but there were not prawns which was probably a blessing in disguise because it was just those chilled peel prawns from the supermarket. I wasn't sure how you were meant to eat the noodles as no cutlery was given so asked for some. Other, than that, the noodles were quite nice but I think I would have liked thinner egg noodles. Anyway, I will definitely be back to try more Mauritian dishes to get a full overview.

Had the most amazing meal here - food was fantastic (the fish and aubergine curry was the absolute highlight) and the service was top notch too, special mention to Kevina who really looked after us. Highly recommended this place and will be back.

Being Mauritian, it is hard to find good Mauritian food that tastes authentic or we can’t cook at home. This ticks all the boxes! We had a range of food and were even offered suggestions (even though we knew exactly what we wanted, EVERYTHING!). Staff were lovely and friendly and really good value for money!!! Worth a visit, even if it means that I might not have table next time I visit!!!

I regularly order from Mange des Iles. Delicious and big portions always. I am Mauritian and the dishes are authentic and freshly prepared. The new taro delicacy is a must to try and the dholl puris, biryanis and noodles and so many more! Highly recommended. Thank you Ravi who always does has best! Great service and food.

Great for cocktails on a Friday night along with Afrobeats on the deck🎉 Staff was so friendly and approachable.Helped us with the cocktail recommendations. Everything was really clean and tidy. Did not try the food but will certainly go back to try as the smells were unbeatable. The place was full when we left so everyone around knows their great quality! I came all the way from Teddington (near Kingston) having found this place online. The food is the closest I've had to being back in Mauritius, really really flavoursome and really generous portions. Our favourite has to be the Mauritian chicken biryani but we also loved the selection of cakes he had there. The atmosphere is so relaxing there with the Mauritian music on TV and selection of Mauritian drinks. It was the relaxed laid-back atmosphere I missed from Mauritius. I first came on New Year's Eve. I called in advance to preorder a takeaway and to have one dish there (the boulette soup), pickup at 3:45 and they were due to shut at 4. Thanks to major issues with my bus (we were without a driver in Merton!) I arrived at 4, closing time Ravi insisted I sat down and had my soup and the staff there (his family?) told me not to rush. Not many places would have been so hospitable and welcoming, especially to a first-time customer. I've since been back and am definitely going to be a regular.

Fantastic food. Had the roast duck and prawn calamari. All delicious looking forward to going back to try more. You know its good when you wake up the next morning thinking about it. Lovely rum selection also.

Where do I start with this review. Firstly, this is food from my home country Mauritius so it's sometimes hard to beat the real deal on my little island. However, this little hidden gem in the middle of Tooting Broadway is home away from home and the most beautiful nostalgia I can ever feel. The food has never failed me as I go there minimum 2 times a month for the past year. Ravi, the owner is the sweetest human being and so friendly, he really makes you feel a part of the little community and wants you to enjoy his little input of the Mauritian lifestyle and culture. I couldn't be prouder of finding a part of my home and it being this place! Well done Ravi, you deserve the biggest round of applause.

My boyfriend and I came in tonight and we were served by the most lovely girl. Sorry we didn’t catch her name but she gave us some wonderful food recommendations and overall excellent service. We will be sure to be back again and we’ve already told our friends and family all about how wonderful it was. Highly recommend! We also got some desserts to takeaway as well to try tomorrow we’re very excited for! I’m Mauritian and I feel that this is the only place in London that tastes authentic. I love the focus on street food, which I wouldn’t be able to make at home myself. Just a shame they don’t deliver to Battersea! For the key words - it’s very easy to eat vegan here; a lot of Mauritian food is naturally veg.

Tasty curries served in cool cafe. Fish curry was a generous serving of white fish on the bone with rich gravy and rice.

Also there is another Mauritius restaurant in the market slightly more expensive but good food. The other place drinks are expensive so try and drink at the other places before ending there. I had the pleasure of eating at what is now my favourite Mauritian cafe in London. I visited from Manchester and couldn't stop eating. Food was delish, the owner is beyond friendly, welcoming as the Mauritian custom! Thank you for bringing my childhood memories back with delish morisiene cuisine! I'm planning my next trip soon!

Great authentic Mauritian food and drinks which will give you that feeling of being at home. Amazing atmosphere and service when dining in. Lost count of how many times we’ve been there now and I happily drive for 1.5hrs just to dine at Mangé des Îles. 100% recommended.

Had the most amazing food here! I had the biriyani and it was so delicious, really tasty. We also had cocktails which were not only excellent value but also really well made! So glad we stumbled across this place, would definitely go again and would recommend to everyone!

The food here is great! It's typical Mauritian food. I've been here a few times and loved it so much that I even ended up doing a catering order for my birthday party. People who had never tried Mauritian food at my party asked for leftovers. Everyone left with a takeaway box or two! The dhall puris are my favourite. Highly recommend the butterbean curry (and chilli if you are brave)! The bhajis are best when they are freshly fried. My favorite are the cabbage bhajis. I've had the chicken and lamb briyani. They are definitely along the Mauritian side which we serve dry with chutneys and salad (I.e. no vegetable curry). The fried noodles are also rally good and must be tried with the garlic sauce. The alouda is also worth a try especially if you are having any food with the chilli sauce. The vanilla flavoured milk is not only tasty but helps you cool down. All in all, great Mauritian restaurant which reminds me of Mauritius. Ravi is always an amazing host. When we did the catering order, he did a follow up call to make sure everything was fine and in order. 😋🥘🍜 🇲🇺 🦤

Was visiting friends in Balham, stopped by here to try something new. The fish curry and the classic Mauritian drink (can’t remember name) we’re lovely. Lovely relaxed waitress who taught us a bit about Mauritius and the family business. Purchased their spicy sauce for ththe home fridge it was so good. Thank you.

Food is good and also good value for money. They get quite busy and unable to handle the orders building up, hence wait can be long. As stress builds up, nerves are frazzled and has a negative effect of customers, especially the mood of the ladies in the kitchen who are running to get orders ready. Best to get takeaways especially on weekends because the few tables are filled up quickly and can be a long wait for a table. Liked the fish curry with aubergine, dal-puri (their specialty) and the fried noodles.

Absolutely delicious food at a good price and the cakes looked good too but was too full to buy. Shame about the service, for which I'm dropping a star. Was told the baguettes were sold out and that it was my fault for coming so late in the day(how about just 'sorry, we've sold out, without the judgement?) and we waited a long time for our bill, with the one person in the kitchen taking new orders instead of letting us go. Must stress the two guys serving are NOT Mauritian and would deffo recommend you try the food, maybe as takeaway.

Good food, absolutely terrible service. Ordered takeaway for collection a couple months back and some items weren't included despite us being charged for them, rang up and was told that we can get them next time we went. Came back for lunch today and the person we'd spoken to wasn't there so we didn't ask for them, a shame that we paid for something we didn't get, but it'd been a while no big deal. Ordered and waited over an hour for our food before giving up and asked for it to be put in takeaway boxes instead. Guy serving seemed annoyed that he had just plated them and wasn't at all sympathetic that I needed to go back to work so instead took a good 5 minutes to put the food from the plates into 2 takeaway boxes. There were no other customers at that time. We asked why we had waited so long since ordering (everything is cooked and just needed reheating) and was told 'oh we got confused' zero apology, not even any money off. Will not be back and recommend others don't bother, which is a shame because the food is good

The owner and his wife they are very arrogant food are very expensive there are loads of restaurants in Tooting Broadway more cheaper and nice food and people 🤔 better than him I bought food from Mange de ìles the food was rotten I ate half of It I could get food poisoning. I called him and told him about it,he said to come to the shop he will give me free food I went there by purpose he pretend he doesn't know me as he knows me very well.. I still got pictures of his rotten food and his receipt I will go ahead for that becoz his very arrogant and he double all his food which is not fair on Mauritius people he take advantage of them, I don't recommend this place there are loads of Mauritius food everywhere around London better than him. He should learn his lesson and his wife for being rude and arrogant.

The food is always delicious but delivery is always late and the food arrives cold. Ignore the timing when you place the order, the delivery time of 30-45 minutes will change just as it's about to expire and it will eventually arrive 70 minutes later. The food is worth the wait but only order if you're not hungry or in a hurry. There's also no number to call to get a status on your order.

the food was cold and dried, wasn`t fresh for sure. The "salad" was made of stripes from carrot and cucumber. I would not recommend it for anyone.
