Jose was an excellent host for our birthday meal out, would definitely come again.

Best Steak I’ve ever had. Above the food, Chris was amazing. He was professional and knew everything we had to ask about the food and was incredibly polite. Best service I’ve come across. Will definitely come again and recommend everyone I know.

Came for my dad's 80th and had a lovely evening. Beautiful food and exceptional service. Our server Chris was fantastic and is one of the main reasons our night was so perfect!

We had a really great dinner here. The food was absolutely amazing as much as our lovely waitress Zsanett! She has a very good knowledge about the menu and helped us to choose what we ordered ☺️ Köszönjük! 🥰

Although service level was quite good, Amy let herself and the brand down with her mediocre "Thanks" response to a 40% cash tip which was given as a recognition of her service level which has improved significantly since her time at the Old Bell but her attitude still needs some work.

Overall miller and carter was good. A couple of things let it down. The lobster was disappointing compared to the last time I had it there. Seems a lot smaller and it was very dry this time. Another aspect that wasn’t very good was a few staff members. During our meal there was confusion over the steaks that had come out and a couple of the staff members came across condescending and abrupt. Wasn’t a very good way of treating customers and wasn’t effective on sorting the issue out in which turned out to be an error by the staff members anyway.

Excellent anniversary dinner, we revisited to celebrate the special occasion. Shared a delicious butcher’s block which was fantastic and friendly service from Zsanett. Thank you!

We were served by Zsanett who was simply amazing and so helpful! We celebrated our engagement here and her sweet attitude and smile was the icing on the cake :)

For a steak house they were terrible at cooking them, literally everyone who ordered steak had it sent back due to it being cold or barely warm, and the onion loaf was nice on top but soggy on the bottom, the restaurant had barely anyone in so not rushed, honestly for the price and “dress code” can’t even get bare bones right, service was fine and that was the high light

We receive a M&C voucher every year from a relative. We decided to go further out and tried Basingstoke. M&C steaks are very standard compared to other steaks we have had elsewhere. Their steak is hit and miss. Sometimes sinuey or sometimes good. I gave 3 because the steak was not hard seared at the top so no crisp at the top. It was OK.

This was lunch on Christmas day. Not cheap, but we thought reasonable given the occasion with staff giving up their Christmas.

Excellent service and food. Could improve by people not smoking by the entrance. Walking from car park to front entrance was quite dark. Front of restaurant said no parking but when we left, there were many cars parked on that area? Food was amazing as always. Thank you and we will be back :)

Lovely evening with friends, the food was great and Lucy was very friendly and attentive. It was slightly warm, but that didn’t take away from our enjoyment.

Enjoyed the time at M&C and looking forward to call again. 9th December 2024 Another visit, we have been served by Lucy and received excellent service and delicious food. The black angus sirloin was perfect, The festive menu has some great options to choose from. Highly recommended.

We booked for a Xmas dinner for 53. This was the third year that we had used Miller and Carter for our Xmas festivities. The staff who participated in preparing and delivering our Christmas dinner were amazing as were the Management First of all, the food was SO much better than last year and absolutely everyone enjoyed their meal. The veg was cooked to perfection, nothing was overdone and I am told the steak was the best they have had. I have received no negative feedback at all, the service was amazing, right from the delivery of the food to the tables, to the attentiveness from the staff. This review should count for 53 people. Thank you and well done once again!

We had a lovely dinner here, food was excellent. Service was a tad slow and they forgot one of the items we ordered but given the business of the restaurant and the excellence of the food we overlooked this!

Always a popular choice for us, though it is a little pricey so we only visit on special occasions. Some of the seating is not very comfortable.

Been today for our 29th Anniversary together Jose served us as always excellent service we have got to know him as well since miller and carter opened We have also booked in for Christmas day 2024 our 4th year Always excellent service and also being recognised when we arrive Staff very friendly and helpful.

Have had a couple of chewy steaks the last couple of visits. Overall still very nice though. Great service as always.

Christian, the staff member, recommended the Indulge Experience from the menu, which is a sharing platter with steak, lobster tails, a bottle of red wine, and loads of sides. Christian is a great staff member with excellent customer service. His recommendation was 100% perfect for a couple, and all the food was delicious. Thanks to Christian! 💗

Saturday evening and staff were prepping for Christmas as the tree was put up whilst we ate. Waiter/waitress service was excellent. The main waiter at our table was extremely patient and happy to spend time giving advice, and checking both stock availability and the ingredients just in case of allergies. We never felt rushed and the food was amazing. I'm definitely thinking of visiting them again.

When i ordered, i was originally told about 17:50. This kept getting pushed back til i was eventually told 19:30. However the food was delivered just before 19:00. Ordered from miller and carter before, the food is great. But this time the food took too long and was cold by the time it got here. When you pay £50 for a take away, you expect it to be delivered on time and be hot when you get it, not delayed by an hour and cold.

My wife, her mum and partner went here for my Birthday 11th November. From the moment we entered we were made to feel very welcome, and escorted to our table. Our waitress (Lucy) came to our table, and nothing was too much trouble, everything that was asked for was expedited without fuss or bother. This continued throughout our, Lucy joined in with the light banter, ensuring we were well catered for, including the unexpected Birthday treat at the end of our meal. This is the first time, that I have not even considered or worried about the bill. Everything was done with precision and pride, from the kitchen to all those in front of house. As said in the Royal Navy for a job well done, a massive Bravo Zulu. My Thanks go out to the whole team.
