Paprika in Barking and Dagenham

Tasty food but the biryani, both chicken and lamb, had only very few pieces. 90 percent rice and 10 percent meat. Nice aroma and less oily. The lamb chops were really good, tender and tasty.

Ordered butter chicken but when the food was delivered it was chicken Korma. Called the restaurant to inform them of the mistake. The guy asked me if I read the ingredients. I have been eating butter chicken for a long time and the food that was delivered was not butter chicken. In what world does butter chicken taste sweet with coconut flavour? He tried to argue with me i eventually gave up. Some accountability would have gone a long way

ordered paneer curry, looked nothing like the picture or description, no flavour either and was swimming in oil as well. Forgot to give me rice but gave us instead a veg curry... bit confused how the two can be mixed up. The garlic naan wasn't even garlic naan just normal naan. biryani was good at least, won't be ordering again

The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered vindaloo, biryani, tandoori lamb chops, chana masala, pilau rice and onion bhaji. It was all so tasty! We were gifted complimentary popadoms with sauces and salad! The delivery driver was really friendly too.

Have ordered from Paprika for many years. Last night it took 2hours 40minutes before the order finally arrived. They have offered me a mere £3 for the late delivery. Sorry not acceptable. If they were so busy the order should not have been accepted. I did ask for my money back minutes before the actually arrived.

Nothing amazing, but perfectly ok. The meat to sauce ratio was poor leaving a lot of sauce to mop up. Naans were very soggy and it took around 80 minutes to arrive.

Ordered online, 90 mins to deliver!!! Food was only average, not gunna order from them again.

Ordered paneer balti. Website states, "Cooked with fresh tomatoes, onions, green pepper, herbs, spices & garam masala to give that exotic aroma served in thick sauce" After waiting 90 minutes for delivery, my paneer balti was merely sauce with a few cubes of paneer in it. There was absolutely none of the other stated ingredients.

Ordered last night . Curry had hair in it .. they gave me refund.. never ever again ..

I order from Paprika everytime we want a takeaway curry and I am never disappointed. Food is hot and very tasty. Its our favourite local curry house. Thank you.

First time I order a chicken korma and naan it was great. The second time there were literally two pieces of chicken breast in the korma and they were still pink. It also took over an hour and a half to get to me. It wasn’t even peak time nor do I live that far from them.

Lovely vegetarian sides but could do with more spice and onions and garlic roasted better.Same with the prawns in the prawn puree.The prawn puree could do with more prawns too. All items were hot and not laiden with salt nor fat.Thank you incredibly for that.

Here's the situation with Paprika Chadwell Heath: Whether you order a drier dish (bhuna) or a saucier dish (balti) or say, a themed dish emphasising onions and chillies (jalfrezi) you will get the SAME bland, tasteless, runny, oil saturated sauce, no matter what curry you order. So what exactly is the business strategy? Is it to shaft customers who are ordering for the very first time? Or is the strategy to hope that their will be a large enough body of naively faithful customers who have absolutely no idea or cares as to what authentic (and therefore delicious) curries should look or taste like? Hmm...

just such delicious food have been coming here for years so perfectly seasonsed

Delivery driver was extremely rude and unprofessional. I have complained to the restaurant and to Just Eat customer service. The food was good but the attitude of the delivery driver has put me off ordering from them again.

I order from Paprika regularly. The food always arrives early and piping hot. It is very tasty and I highly recommend it.

Behaviour not good. Owner Rofikul shouts with customers or visitors for making any special request after service. Started arguing doing this business for long 14 years bla bla. He thinks himself one man army but when someone reply properly he misbehave. Should avoid this shop, there are lots of restaurants out there.

I ordered a chicken tikka dansak and it tasted horrible. Keema rice, nan bread and samosas were lovely though.

Food is no longer the same quality as it was. Sauces are watery with a strange taste, rice the same & tasted fishy. I have been a customer since Paprika opened many years ago, always recommended them to everyone & the only Indian I bought from, sadly I wouldn't anymore.

As always lovely tender chicken madras perfect rice freshly cooked just lovely thank you for good quality food at a great price too. Will be back soon. Xx

I don't understand why delivery men think that it's ok to put the food you pay for on your outdoor step and simply walk off without saying a word. Not only is it rude, but it's unhygienic.

Was given out of date chocolate buttons
