Good and quick service, didn't have to wait long for my order to get prepared and packed. They have nice packaging too. Vast selection of pastries, they all tasted good, no complains here. Some more interesting than other, like this heart shaped one, don't think I've had something similar before.

Thought ill try this coffee shop for the first time this morning. Never again. Asian women working behind the counter is so rude. Her customer service skills are 0. No conversation. Not welcoming AT ALL. Straight face with a weird energy. Done my coffee so quick so was so watery. Regret giving my money to this place. Don’t waste your money, there is a black sheep coffee and a costa up the road. Spend there instead.

My wife and I sat outside with a cappuccino and a croissant each. The croissant were probably the best I've tasted, crisp outside, soft and fluffy inside...perfect. I also had an escargot pain au raisin which was equally delightful. Well recommended.

I work from the office once a week, and I always look forward to my Wednesday morning coffee at Paul's on Warren Street. However, this morning, my experience was completely ruined by the behavior of a staff member. I want to say this respectfully, but one of the women—an Indian lady—was incredibly rude. She showed absolutely no customer service skills and made it very clear she was having issues in the workplace and seemed to be taking it out on customers. At one point, she even started talking openly with another staff member wearing a headscarf, stating how upset she was. A male staff member then joined, and they began discussing their problems right there in front of customers, which felt very unprofessional. I do want to highlight that the woman in the headscarf and lab coat was wonderful—polite, professional, and with excellent customer service skills. Unfortunately, the rudeness of the other staff member really affected my experience today.

Would not prepare a ham & cheese croissant for me

I do not have any concerns about the quality of the coffee or pastries, but I believe that the staff could be more welcoming. It would be beneficial if they were to smile and greet customers upon their arrival, as this is a fundamental aspect of the hospitality industry. When I visit establishments with unfriendly staff, I am less likely to return. In my own experience within the hospitality industry, I always make sure to greet customers with a smile and a friendly greeting.

Tell that old guy, on morning shift second of April, to smile in people’s face, jeeez!

How to debase your own coinage in one easy lesson. Paul used to be worth a visit because the bread and pastries were wonderfully fresh, with a crisp, light crunch. At Paul Express the baguettes are cellophane wrapped and leathery. Not good - and no atmosphere either.

I bought a cheese string and it was very hard and they did not want to heat it up either. Very bad service too.

Delicious food and good service. Expensive, even for central London. £15 for a sandwich, cake and a coffee. No atmosphere as was empty other than me.

6 pound for a sandwich with the bread from the day before,untasty toppings,never again

The cakes are usually quite good, at least they have some flavour. Coffee was OK too

Full price for less than half a cup of so called large coffe which doesn't even taste good. On top of that I found them pretty prejudiced for the way they served me. Anyway, that's it for me going there again.

The seating space is too little

Very good cafe for coffee and pastries. Also, the sandwiches are very delicious and made with fresh bread. Morning deal: one hot drink (can be large size too or any size you desire) with a pastry of you choice, please have a look at the photo in this review for what is available. This deal, is available for the all week, including weekends. Lunch deals, are provided from Monday until Friday. No lunch deal offer over the weekends.

Just had the worst coffee (latte) I've ever purchased. Tasted like it was made from dishwater, straight in the bin. Crossant was stone cold as well.

Good efficient service, food is great as always, and lovely the environmentally-friendly packaging for food that's to go.

Nice place, a little too busy, and sandwiches too cold to eat immediately as the bread is too hard straight from the fridge. Give it 20 minutes to warm up a bit and you're good to go, and they are up to usual Paul's high standards. Although a very cold fridge has the benefit of ice cold drinks 😁

Overpriced, horrible pastries and sandwiches

This is a new shop. They also take part in the too good to go program so it's good to see they won't throw food away. They have a mix of everything though they try and succeed and making things slightly better than your usual sandwich shop
