Staying in Cirencester and went out for wedding anniversary meal because had vegetarian pasta menu, and good reviews, but very disappointed -tasteless, could have done better at home.

Amazing friendly service! The main front of house lady was incredible! As were our after dinner cocktails. We shared a margarita pizza and a spinach and ricotta ravioli dish, the sauce that the ravioli came in was very delicious, the rest was mediocre but very reasonably priced and despite it not being out of this world food I’d still highly recommend the place for a bite to eat.

Party of 23 people went to celebrate husbands 50th birthday. Food was excellent, served promptly and every single person happy (had starter and mains). Staff are super friendly but also very professional and cannot do enough to make sure you are happy. We have eaten here on a number of occasions but not in such a large party but Ersin and staff you did not disappoint! So many of the party want to return.

This hidden gem on castle street is not to be missed! We were here on my wifes bday, the food was delicious and the service was even better! Ersin took care of us very well and we could see that he was taking care of every guest with excitement. Rarely we find people who are interested in taking care of their guests. An absolute hidden gem. I was served by a well presented young man all evening, who made my evening. So polite !! My family and I went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. I ate the pollo milenese, which was fresh and very tasty. My daughter (who is very fussy) managed to eat all of her mozzarella and pizza. The whole team sang happy birthday to my daughter when they presented her dessert , which was a perfect touch to the evening. Thank you. We will come back.

Had a lovely family lunch for a good price yesterday. 2 courses for £14.50 and my son had a margarita and a drink for 6.95. If you’re on vacation and looking for somewhere that’s good to eat for good value I recommend piazza Fontanna.

Whenever I’m in Cirencester, I always make a point to visit my favorite authentic Italian restaurant, Piazza Fontana. It’s tucked away down an alley off Castle Street, nestled next to Pizza Express and the Mad Hatter Wine Bar. Don’t be tempted by other Italian restaurants on the same street—there’s simply no comparison. Piazza Fontana surpasses the competition with its amazing, authentic Italian cuisine, warm atmosphere, and exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. The value for money is incredible, making it a must-visit. It’s highly recommended by local hotels such as De Vere in South Cerney, The Fleece, The Kings Head in the Market Place, and Stratton House Hotel. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a celebrity or two, as it’s a favorite among the well-known. The vibes are fantastic, with friendly banter that adds to the already delightful dining experience. We’ve already booked our business group’s Christmas celebration here, confident we’ll be well taken care of!

An old school Italian restaurant at the end of a kind of secret tunnel. It doesn't have street frontage, but it has a covered garden -- closed from October to April. It's got quirky decor with a bit of a shabby chic vibe which tells you the restaurant has been here for years and isn't going away. The menu covers starters, pizza, pasta, veal, meat (beef and pork) and side dishes which include French fries (chips) as well as salads and a limited selection of vegetables. The hosts obviously know the British well! Three of us shared deep fried whitebait and a platter of cheese and salame to start, then a vegetarian pasta, a seafood pizza, a side salad and creamed spinach. Everything was excellent, freshly cooked, the pizza dough was properly seasoned, chewy and delicious. I would have liked the pasta a little more al dente, but that's me. It wasn't overcooked, just adjusted to British taste. Portion sizes were large enough that we all felt stuffed (one man and two women) and only managed a single pudding between us. Other good points: The menu carefully lists allergens. It's easy to find the meat, fish and veggie options. The pudding menu clearly divides between bought in and home made dishes. Very cheerful and friendly staff. One thing I can't review is the wine list since we were drinking by the glass. Only house white, red and pink are available that way. They were acceptable. There is also a short cocktail list. My daughter had a Limoncello Tom Collins which she enjoyed. This was my second visit. I went with my daughter last September when we sat outside and stuffed ourselves with pizza and pasta. I'll be back.

A lovely little restaurant tucked away down an alley, cosy and informal. We met a friend for lunch, and had an enjoyable meal of pasta with a glass of wine, and lingered on chatting. Our server Elena was very attentive, and the meal enjoyable.

Amazing pasta and mussels that are definitely worth the price. The decorations made this place cozy and cute. We went there for lunch and we had a great chat with the staff, who were friendly and had very interesting stories to share. They gave us lemon shots on the house before we left which we greatly appreciated. I would especially recommend the creamy chicken spinach risotto and mussels. Both were flavourful and rich, and perfectly seasoned.

We saw a sign outside offering a Lunch menu deal so we decided to give it a try. It was quite busy for a Tuesday lunch time which made for a great atmosphere. The food was absolutely lovely. We ate Penne Pollo & Pizza Inferno. There was a great selection to choose from and the price even better. 1 course is only £9.95pp or 2 course £14.50pp. There is even an option to add a homemade dessert at a reduced price. It was delicious. We can’t wait to return. You must give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Genuinely, living in London - We have eaten at a number of "authentic" Italian restaurants, as well as eating in Italy. The food cooked and served, was without a doubt - Some of the best authentic Italian we have ever eaten. The consistency was absolutely perfect. Elena and her team were extremely attentive, and the whole experience topped off our weekend away for our wedding anniversary.
