Very good food and at a very good price. The place is nice and the waiters are friendly and polite, plus one of them spoke Spanish so it was much easier for us.

Pizza Express in St. Jon's Wood was amazing . Staff welcoming, helpful, and took our order timely. The food fulfilled our expectations and was delicious, and the atmosphere deserves 10 stars 🌟

Don't deliver it 2 romanas in bin like crackers they forgot toppings uber won't refund.

Not a very good experience at all, we waited at least 20 minutes to be waited on and then took a further 20 minutes for the food to arrive (it wasn’t busy at all) and the food was burnt and to top it off, another table next to us took them at least 30 minutes plus for them to clean it. I would only recommend the dough balls and the soft drinks, the only good outcome of my experience. I will not be returning!!

Me and my wife often visit this pizza express as we enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The last two times we have been served by Karina who is a very lovely and helpful waitress who complements our experience.

Nice, cosy local branch. Hidden away and mainly attracts local residents. Nice branch. I went for a very early dinner on a Tuesday evening when it was not too busy. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Service was efficient. Clean. They currently have the 50% off pizza offer which was very worthwhile. I had a plain and simple margherita. I asked for less mozzarella, I can't take too much cheese! This was perfect. Freshly made, crispy and tasty. Simple as I wanted.

Unassuming joint serving great Italian style pizzas. Excellent service and management by Akash he provided best suggestions for pizza Fresh ingredients, fast service, excellent value for money. Makes a change from all the other usual suspects in the neighborhood. Highly Recommended.

Pizza express in St. John's Wood - Abbey road is fantastic. Everything is clean, friendly staff and excellent food. Nevertheless fast service. Pawel the chef and Joe, the restaurant manager are busy though they have a few seconds for a good comment. I have eaten at this place several times and certainly recommend it.

Jacob was very friendly and efficient. He kept our drinks refilled and our food arrived promptly.

a very big disappointment...an hour of waiting without any excuse in deafening noise at the beginning to finally eat bland and rubbery pizzas...the chicken parmiggiana was quite good but the pasta was overcooked (some were even burnt) and cold!!! misunderstanding of the order, no dessert for my 7 year old son...really a very bad time! I hope it’s not always like this!

What a fabulous restaurant. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff are amazing. So friendly and attentive and couldn't do enough for us. They made our anniversary lunch a very special occasion. We're definitely going out of our way to go there again. A rare treat in Maida Vale.

A long-time visitor to Pizza Express way back when, all sorts of options followed, relatively recently, then thought I oughta head back and see how they were now... not disappointed, reliable and nice menu and drinks menu. Often, these days certain pizza restaurants change chefs and the pizzas vary too much, floppy, firm, good toppings, too many toppings, tasteless toppings, weird combos. So, Pizza Express, given you pick a good branch like Abbey Rd., is like coming home to proper pizza. Thank you to Ashley, an excellent manager and Amelia who is looked after us (and everyone) last night. Ashley, loved the children's books idea 💡 genius. 👏🏼 Nice new manager and just as good as ever. October 2024 the app to pay is absurd, frustrating and amateur - the 4th/ 5th time it's totally failed - we've been chased down the street 'for not paying' seriously we eat here more times than our 'rewards' can imagine. We miss taxi's and trains coz it's sooo bad. Please resolve owners - a complete shambles!! Seriously and I've eaten at PE for 40yrs +

I brought my cousins from LA to this PizzaExpress for lunch and they absolutely loved it. Super friendly and attentive service, delicious pizzas (some exciting new additions to their menu) and a really nice ambience with all the greenery in their conservatory dining area. With great value for money, quality ingredients, slick service and easy parking nearby Abbey Road PizzaExpress is definitely #Winning whether you're dining solo, with friends and family (and kids) or with work colleagues. Highly recommended 10/10 - Definitely coming back again very soon and I can highly recommend their thin base Romana style pizzas - so good.

Pedido desde aquí hoy para la cena como entrega y se equivocaron en la mayoría de mi pedido - llegó frío, 20 minutos tarde y parte de la comida estaba mal cocinada. Cuando llamé al gerente era despistado, y parecía como si el personal de espera tenía que hacerse cargo - la camarera Christina que hablé por teléfono era muy servicial sin embargo. Decepcionado.

Great food but cold. Ok as it’s a pizza and can be heated up in the oven in 10 mins (always leave it in the box and put the box in the oven for 10 mins). Very good pizza. Delivery people are not that good though most of the time these days it seems….

Visited this branch earlier this week for the first time with my parents and really enjoyed the food. The new Buddha bowls are so filling and delicious, great for a summer lunch. We had a small issue with my dad’s wine order, but the manager in charge John sorted it straight away. Definitely would come again if back in the area.

Went to Pizza Express the other day and really enjoyed our time. The food was spot on, the dough balls are always so yummy! Service also was super quick and friendly and we really liked that the GM came to check on us. Definitely going back to this location.

Food always good from here. Unfortunately it arrived stone cold. A reheat in the oven, in its box, saved it….lucky it was a pizza. The delivery network of drivers that speak virtually no English and clearly don’t know London (or the delivery area) really let this whole system down. JustEat need to get a grip on this situation quickly as it’s got progressively worse. It’s unfair on the restaurants too.

I normally love pizza express but this restaurant takes 45 minutes to bring food. Like I am not even hungry at this point

The ambience was very nice. The location on Abbey Road is great. Unfortunately, unfortunately the food was below average. For me the pizza was a slightly better frozen pizza. The lasagna was so luscious that you could have eaten/drinked it through a straw. Also make sure that you really get the kids menu for free, as advertised on the posters. We didn't get one. If you asked the manager, you would have had to actively report the use to the service department. How weak is that request. But the manager was very nice and offered me a refund.

The service was absolutely terrible. We waited for over 45 minutes for a single pizza at lunch. The staff was not welcoming and the food was quite underwhelming whilst the restaurant was overpriced and expensive to say the least. Not going back again!

I will never return to this restaurant or any other pizza express chain sadly, after being left for 25 minutes with my two young children without being acknowledged or able to order drinks. When I asked whether we could get something for my two small children in terms of drinks or dough balls/snacks, the male waiter shouted at me saying that the restaurant was full which it was not, on top of this all of the waiters deliberately ignored us choosing to stare at the ground. When one of my children said excuse me can we order, the waiter dismissed her with his hand. On top of this, countless deliveroo drivers took priority over all of the in house diners. The staff need some serious retraining and understand that young children 5 and 7, need to be served promptly and within a reasonable time period. Shocking service, don’t go here or any other pizza express. There are plenty other pizza alternatives that are much better, like pizza pilgrims. Unfortunately, I had to award a star for this review but would much rather had left no stars at all.

I cannot write how much this Pizza Express is the best one around. The staff are all so lovely and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them and matter how busy it is they always offer the most fantastic service. They do need more staff at times as it is unfair for them and the pressure they are under as not all customers are nice and patient. They all deserve a BIG pay rise and more staff please. No one deserves to be shouted at and disrespected and as they are all so wonderful at this Abbey Road Branch, please Head Office take note and get more staff. Thank you

This is my favourite pizza express branch. It has different feel to other branches and I like the fact that it is not located on a busy high street. Food and service is always great! Atmosphere is nice even when busy

One star is generous. We were greeted by the hostess with no eye contact let alone a smile. One of the starters was stale and served with shavings of onion skin. We received the wrong mani and had to wait for the correct order to be brought out. The disabled/baby changing bathroom door is broken and the room is inaccessible, a member of staff had to manipulate the lock from the outside using a knife so I could access the room.

Tried to sit down restaurant was empty staff ignored us. Didn't even bring us a menu after 20 minutes. We got up and left. Unbelievably poor service. From what previously was a good restaurant. Shall not be returning

When at a local pizza place pizza's shrink while their prices sky rocket it in a way stops being your local joint. Otherwise all good, decent service and similarly tasting pizzas. We had what we craved for.

I went last night, had a lovely pizza and wine with great company. It’s a real shame about the service, the young man who served us from the beginning to the end was absolutely ridiculous, he had 0 idea on how to do his job! Terrible

The food tasted like foil and was cold by the time it arrived and food took over an hour to arrive

Abysmal. 90 minutes late. On arrival, the bag was so soggy from the ride (under the rain, with no cover) that the bottom fell off and our drinks broke. Pizza was cold and tasteless thanks to the 90 minute wait. Will never use Just Eat again. Abysmal service.

Got a delivery tonight through Uber eats and it was pretty terrible. The pizza was cold and chewy. In reality for the price you are better off going elsewhere or just getting one of them store bought pizzas. I am sure it is perfectly fine in store, but I personally have not been.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after my recent experience, I feel compelled to share my feedback. I ordered three pizzas and a lasagna from Pizza Express through Just Eat, with the expectation of a pleasant dinner. Unfortunately, what I received was far from it. Upon arrival, all three pizzas were a complete disaster – the toppings had completely spilled out within the boxes, making the pizzas inedible. It looked as if they had been turned over and shaken like snow globes. I understand that accidents can happen during delivery, but the extent of the disarray suggests a lack of care from the moment the food left the restaurant. While I was dealing with the pizzas, the lasagna, which may have been good if eaten promptly, went cold as I tried to sort out the issue and request a refund. Our anticipation for a comforting meal turned into a frustrating and hunger-filled evening. To make matters worse, when I reached out to the restaurant directly, hoping for some understanding or a possible remedy, the lady on the phone displayed a complete lack of interest in our problem. Her dispassionate response did nothing to alleviate the situation and only added to our disappointment. Our dinner was spoiled, we were left hungry, and the customer service was disheartening. It’s regrettable when the food quality and customer care do not meet basic expectations, especially when ordering through a reliable service like Just Eat.

This place is a fabulous one near Abbey studios. When we went there we were welcomed by the staff in a very friendly manner. The ambience of the place was very good and soothing. The staff and management was very courteous and took care of all our requests. Coming to the food, the pizzas were amazing and we enjoyed ourselves a lot.

Thanks you Pizza Express for holding a fab birthday party for my one year old. It all went very smoothly from start to finish. Christina was our waitress who was very professional and personable. I would definitely book here again!
