Visited once again for Sunday lunch! Couldn't fault it, generous serving and fast service. We will be back..

Went for Christmas lunch with a big party, food was delicious and service very fast considering our large group, have a separate baby change which was handy, facilities were clean and well stocked

Good selection of light bites on Veg menu. Enjoyed the mushroom soup, jalapeño poppers and mozzarella bites.. would have preferred crusty/ sourdough bread with the soup. Attentive service Buzzing atmosphere.

Worst dining experience ever in London! The ticketing system was broken in the restaurant that day and the staff advised us it will take longer time as usual. Ok we were fine as there are playground for kids outside. As times goes by, the table around us got food and only our table has nothing. We asked the staff and they told us the same thing so we wait a bit more. Until the other tables almost finished there meal we check with the staff and they said our order was missing!!!! The staff was kind to offer us free meal as compensation as we wait for almost 2 hours. The most disgusting part was the manager here. He said the staff has no rights to offer free meal but he can only offer 20% off. Please note that we didn’t ask for free meal but one waiter kindly offered us. And when I told the manager we waited for 2 hours for food and he checked the system and talk back to me that it was not 2 hours yet!!!!! And he said this is the normal serving time!! How can this restaurant keep such a bad, careless to the customer and rude to the staff as a manager ! Shame on him! Overall this restaurant should be a nice one but the manager is really horrible. Worst ever seen.

Had the Ultimate Chilli. Erm...a little disappointed, expected a fairly decent portion of Chilli & Rice. Unfortunately, It fell below my expectations, tasted nice, but I wouldn't say it was an Ultimate.

Really lovely meals and great service from Emily. We all had different dishes and they were all lovely 6 of us at starters, mains and desserts.

We went for an early evening meal after visiting Spring Time Nursery, Scott the waiter was lovely, service was great and food was brilliant.

went here for a Christmas dinner and had to wait an hour for the started to turn up,then waited a further 45 minutes for the mains.After waiting this long I jokingly said to the table watch the puddings take another hour and somehow they actually did.If the venue was busy then I would be more understanding towards the food taking nearly three hours but actually the pub was empty and only had a few people drinking by the bar.the toilets were disgusting and stank not going to go into details what was all around the toilet.Also after that experience I heard a family friend talking about how 6 people they know all got food poisoning from the plough in crews hill.would not recommend

Went to The Plough for dinner after visiting the grotto next door. We were served by Scott, food was fantastic, service was swift, great value for money. Would definitely come again!! 5*

This is a nice pub serving nice pub grub but my visit was made special by my waitress Erin. She made sure I was enjoying the food and was the highlight of the trip. She is an asset to the company.

Food was nice. Staff nice. The toilets were absolutely awful!! The disabled/baby change toilet stunk and there were dirty nappies all over the floor and spilling out of the bin. The women's toilets were all blocked. You could smell the toilets from the dining area. So so bad.

We visited with a disabled person in a wheelchair who requires blended food, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. And an early Christmas diner with family here as we will be away for Christmas. Had to order the food a week in advance but not difficult as we wanted Christmas diner. Large helping of turkey but small frozen Brussels sprouts. Good starters and puddings, friendly attentive service. The pub had been nicely decorated for Christmas.

Always go to the Plough Once a year when we go Christmas tree shopping have been doing so for many years. Food use to be amazing then but now nice enough but average!

Lovely warm greeting when we arrived and we were immediately taken to our table. Daniel looked after us and was smiley and attentive. We had the Sunday roast beef which was delicious. We were almost too full for a dessert but on recommendation we had the coffee & mini Blondie which was perfect. A lovely Sunday lunch out, thanks.

Waited a while for our drinks. After 40 minutes asked where our food was. We were told the order was lost and would be another 5 minutes. The food arrived several minutes later. It was lovely but we were not offered compensation for the wait and barely an apology.

Unfortunately our party of 7 all our meals came out at different times over the space of 30 minutes. Roast dinner production made. Menu said there was stuffing, this was not on the plate. Had to ask for extra gravy. Very small portion. Not worth the price

Use to eat here quite a lot a while ago. Had a bad day so took my daughter and myself for a cheer up meal. Starters -Buffalo wings were wobbly chicken with hot sauce poured on top, calamari half cooked, all inedible. Mains - chicken burger and chips and fish and chips. Chicken fillets were like frozen Birds Eye ones from Icelands, over cooked and dry, fish and chips cold and not cooked properly. Couple opposite were there before us and had to ask trice for their food. Whilst we had time to spare, looked at the decor, walls and floor had old drink stains, said to my daughter shall we leave now but we were too hungry. No one asked how our food was, I suppose they were embarrassed as it was all left on the plate. Hard earned £50 down the drain, should have complained at the time but couldn’t wait to get out, definitely will not be going back.

What a shame. We arrived with our wheelchair bound mother in law at 3.00pm just as everybody was about to leave. Despite this, we were forced to sit at a tiny table even though larger and more suitable tables were available, probably due to profit motive. Also, the young waiter lied to us saying they were all booked. By 3.45pm the place was deserted. Going back? Probably not.

Went to the Plough last night. Food and service excellent despite then being busy and telling us there would be slight delay. Our waitress Emily was friendly and made sure we were looked after and all our requirements were met. Would go back again a very enjoyable experience.

So me and my family went to this horrible pub, as soon as we walk in we ask for a table without a reservation and this guy rolled his eyes at us an then proceeded to sit us down (the whole time we where there it was empty) first the light had broken and it was very very dark, on asking if they could turn a light on they said the bulb broke and just walked away. Then we ordered food (this included 3 steaks) when the steaks came they where so tough and burnt, would couldn’t even cut them so we sent them back, when they came again they was hairs in the chips DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Came here as truck driver parked up wanted something better than fast food and the staff accommodated for me nice and quite the time I went in congrats

This place is very nice it has very nice food what is wonderful and the food comes out at the right time like it isn’t slow to make or fast I just really like this place defiantly reccomend Xx

the pub needs to vary the menu. it's always the same thing on offer. needs a wider range and/or a specials board

We visited on a dreary day - cold and overcast - and so were not able to sit in the lovely garden outside. It is the perfect place to visit however on brighter days - and especially if you are a dog - lover. They not only welcome dogs - they have a "canine menu" so your pooch will be well cared for! The food was pretty good and the service the same. We will return on a warmer day in the future and enjoy the garden outside.

Excellent food and great atmosphere

Visited Sunday afternoon after visiting Crews Hill Nurseries. Quite and relaxed atmosphere but busy tables with Sunday roast offering being popular. Nicely decorated and well lit in many seating parts. Service was friendly but somewhat struggling with the load and need for attention. Food was out quickly. Nice plating but I wished for larger portions. Reasonably priced for north London. Worth revising on more relaxed day.

I popped in here on my own. Was shown to a table overlooking the garden, served promptly. Food was lovely, well presented. Good value.

Visited on Sunday and was disappointed. We were walk ins but that shouldn't make any difference. Table for 5 but where we were expecting a relaxed bite to eat I do feel a 45 minute wait is a bit excessive. Waitress said we should have been told when we arrived. If we had been we would have rethought as I had my elderly Dad with me.

Were there last night for the fabulous ABBA Tribute night, great pub food beautifully good and were looked after superbly by both Liv and Mya, well done to all at the Plough! Shall certainly be back soon!

Mckenzie was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, will be a great loss, i hope the boots can be filled by Dan and the team.

This is a great place to have a relaxing lunch date or even dinner. It's children and dog friendly with some food/drink items on the menu for your pooch to enjoy, too. It's always quite busy with families and dog walkers, so the wait if you're ordering food can take a while as can being served at the bar, but it's still a great place to go and is very affordable.

Waited to long to be served, went to the Rose and crown instead, really slow service, it's a real shame as it's a nice location.

One of the best pubs I’ve gone to in a while. The atmosphere was amazing and don’t even get me started on the amazing staff. Dan liv Bonnie and Scott made my day and night. 10/10 recommend for a cheeky night out.

Nice place stop, let the kids have a play in the onsite playground and have a drink and some food. Usual pub food, very tasty, great desserts as well. Set in the Crews Hill garden centre, the surroundings are really pleasant. Outdoor and indoor seating. Car parking available. Staff are pleasant.

Went with our family, food was lovely, 2 of us had Roast Turkey, one had fish & Chips, one had chicken kebab and our grandson had fishfingers. The food came out quite quickly and was lovely 10/10 would highly recommend. 👍 There is a large garden and a children’s play area - you can also take dogs!

A nice pub, which is dog friendly. Has lovely gardens to eat and drink at. Plenty of space inside. A variety of meals, including burgers, chicken, fish and plenty of vegetarian options. Food is good and fresh. Staff re Very friendly.

We had a lovely meal here. Hubby had the ultimate grill and I had the salad bowl. I’ve given 4 stars not 5 due to I don’t think the lime and coconut chicken belonged on the grill, plain chargrilled chicken would be nicer. My salad bowl however was lovely, really my kind of food. Humus, feta and walnut and I chose steak to go on it. Hubby also had the fruit crumble with custard, could do with ambling a bit hotter, but still tasty. We will return.

Want to start off by saying that none of the evening was our poor waitresses fault. She was lovely, even when food was sent back three times and she had to keep coming in and out instead of the chef or manager making an appearance. We went on Saturday night to celebrate two birthdays. The food was just absolutely awful to say the least. Microwaved, dry, we sent back FOUR starters because they were literally inedible. And it’s not cheap - we feel like we wasted so much money and I will be emailing today to make a formal complaint.

Held a Wake here a few days ago, perfect venue, ample parking, pub spacious and airy, plenty of seating, buffet was excellent, a lot more people attended than we had accounted for, this was not a problem, additional hot food was promptly provided, all staff were attentive and helpful, from planning the day in advance with Mckenzie to the actual wake itself. Would 100 % recommend Thank you

Ordered some starters which took 40 minutes to arrive and were stone cold when they did. Miniscule portions too. The entertainment whilst we waited consisted of a fight between 2 groups of ‘customers’ which resulted in a 20 minute screaming match and both parties having to be separated. Won’t be returning.

Came here with my 4yr old son and partner to celebrate my birthday. Another family were sat outside when we got here and Cbeebies was on the big screen while there was no football (and it was pretty empty outside). We thought this was a great idea. The young staff were lovely and attentive. What we can only assume was the bar manager (older guy, later 40s/early 50s), then came out to put the football on and made a point of shaking his head and seeming quite displeased at the TV currently being set on a channel to entertain the little ones.- It wasnt as if we'd expected it to stay on here durinh the match 🤣 He seemed to assume that we'd done it, faffed about with a few huffs and puffs, walked off and we promptly left. Our son has Autism so we thought the added touch of the cartoons by the play area was a touch in the interim. Seemingly not. Won't be returning.

Decided last minute to pop out to The Plough for an evening meal (3 courses) and we wasn't disappointed. The food was very good and reasonably priced, as were the drinks. The service was good and the staff helpful and polite - as special mention to McKenzie, who looked after us most of the evening. Also found a very nice Malbec (Dead Man's Dice) to go with the meal - again reasonably priced. Overall a very nice experience. It may be a few miles away from where we live, but we will certainly be frequenting The Plough more often.

I go to The Plough fairly frequently... so this was a disappointment. I'm writing this because I need to warn to warn you against the minimal, poor and boring Mac's Salad which is describes as a "Classic' on the Menu. As I say, The Plough is a place I know and like - but DON'T have that Salad. It was very small. It didn't contain the ingredients described. It was by no means a main course! to the extent that it was a classic it was a classic waste of money - even with a rather stringy piece of steak added. I do hope the company reads this and makes changes. It was sad to see a good place so VERY let down by a dish so simple to make.

Great place to take the family, nice garden with a playground is perfect for the little ones. Yummy roast!!

Lovely little pub with great food. We’ve been here a few times before but I wanted to leave a review as it’s well deserved. Had lunch on Tuesday with 5 others, everything was lovely, the food, the atmosphere and the service, can’t fault it in a way. Will definitely visit again!

I've visited the plough with a friend for lunch and was left so disappointed, not just by the service and the extreme delay in bringing out our food, we're completely ignored when the waitress said she'll be back with an update on our food which never happened, my the waiters not knowing basic information about the menu, by the frustration towards us from people working at the bar, but we disregarded many things because it was super busy, and can understand it can be stressful time for the personnel, however, my friend and I both ordered two salads and was in compete and utter shock when it arrived by how small the portion was. The salad consisted of three pieces of lettuce all together which when you added them together didn't even add up to a single leaf !! I am not exaggerating! I'm not one to usually complain but could not get over how much of a joke that was. When I asked to speak to the manager to question the portion they couldn't even give me a straight answer but agreed at how tiny it was and just offered to bring me another salad, which they brought one small plate with five extra leaves! Which was a joke on top of the joke! Not to mention my friend had see mice running around which she didn't even touch her own salad! Despite how long elunthe atmosphere is, it was just unacceptable on so many levels!

1.5 hour after order still no food, excuse was only one cook in the kitchen !? Why you taking order if you can’t cope ?

Came here for a lunch with a friend and our kids and we were well looked after and our food was nice, it’s a really family friendly pub with a little play area outside. Would come back!

First visit here, nice pub with good service. Busy lunchtime but got a table for four. Probably best to book in advance. Dog-friendly, and there were at least four dogs there during our visit. Dog biccies in the entrance and water bowls. We all had different meals which we enjoyed. The dried out vegetables with the fish pie were replaced quickly. Coffee and mini dessert finished our lunch. Ample parking.
