Smoque in Bromley

Celebrated a friend's birthday. The food was lovely, the ambience and service was 5 star. I highly recommend. Adam gave an absolute 5 star service

Overall, it was a nice restaurant. The food was tasty & portion size was good. Nice variety. Good atmosphere & they made the birthday girl feel very special.

I recently visited Somque in Bromley for lunch with friends, and it was a truly wonderful dining experience. It was my first time at the restaurant, and I was immediately impressed by the friendly and warm greeting from the staff as they opened the door for me. The menu offered such a tempting variety of dishes that it was difficult to choose, but I opted for the lamb chop dinner, which was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, and our orders arrived promptly. I would definitely return and highly recommend Somque to friends.

Firstly i would like to address the portions of the starters and how unbelievable the prices are for the amount given. For the nachos we were given 4 pieces of nachos and some sauce for £8. It’s a scam. Next the halloumi we were given 3 pieces of halloumi for £6. I found this restaurant not acceptable one bit. Then I would like to point out your staff. When we were sat, every 5 minutes this member of staff would constantly ask if we were ready to order and not give enough time to think especially that this is our first time at SMOQUE. Then this same staff member was always walking past ONLY our table and looking over and staring and saying nothing else making us feel uncomfortable and not able to speak. The worst part is once we were done with our food we were talking and chatting then another member of staff started wiping the tables and clearing everything and was getting in between us and not saying excuse me or sorry. I think it’s right to start cleaning the tables after we have left rather than getting in the way of us and our conversations and not saying a word and interrupting us. Honestly this whole experience was very pressurising and we felt judged a lot.As a group of girls I honestly believe that we have been mistreated and scammed. The food was good but for the portion size and the price it’s not worth your time!

my food came very late and on top of that my food came cold including all of my table i’m very disappointed in this and i will not be coming back!!!!! customer service wasn’t that bad my waiter was very nice so i’ll give him a 5 star but aside from that and the atmosphere i ain’t ever coming back waste of £25!!!!!

I went to smoque with my boyfriend for the first time and really enjoyed it. We both had a protein smoothie and a breakfast. The staff were lovely. My only criticism would be the poached eggs were slightly watery.

The food was really bad and overpriced, wouldn’t recommend at all

Dined here for an evening and ordered the ribeye to be medium and it came pretty much well done which was undesirable however not the end of the world. Alongside that i ordered the lobster starter which was very nice. Unfortunately only 12 hours later i had horrible food poisoning and fell terribly ill, a shame since the ambiance and service is good at the restaurant hope no body else has to go through what I did.

Having tried Smoque Restaurant in Bromley a few times, as well as many other Turkish restaurants in London, I must say Smoque is now my “go-to” Turkish restaurant. I took my parents to Smoque in Bromley on Christmas eve, and we yet again were impressed by food and atmosphere and most importantly by the nicest staff ever. From the moment we stepped in when the very welcoming gentleman (I forgot to ask his name unfortunately) showed us our booked table and we had some nice chit chat with him, and the other 2 gents (Nes and Ayat) who brought the food to us and also offered to take us some pictures, until we stepped out, the whole experience was just very impressive. Smoque never disappoints. I highly recommend it. Thank you Nes, Ayat, the gentleman who greeted and took us to our table and the whole team for making our 2024 Christmas eve very special. See you all soon again.

Amazing food, best I’ve had for a long time from a Turkish restaurant, and such lovely staff who went the extra for us.

Food is 10/10 can’t fault it. Service is great, one of the waiter bumped into me by accident and gave me a free drink to apologise, atmosphere is lively and everyone sings along to the birthday song!

Guy with bald head is RUDE & very argumentative. We had to serve our own drinks as he left them on the side. Disappointing!

Haven't been down Bromley in a few years and had to come down today for a meeting. Stopped by this absolutely beautful eye-catching and aesthetically, pleasing establishment we were greeted by a lovely hansom server. And a wonderful welcoming lady called Kate, they both were so welcoming they've only been open two weeks. We tred a turmeric carrot and ginger shot, I can definitely say we loved that because it didn't have no horrible after taste. After tastes which we loved. I was with my daughter, so she tried it as well and I can definitely say we will be back. The atmosphere is so nice an serene for a first experience. I give this place already a 5 star rating. I haven't tried the food as yet, so I can't comment but the fact that it's an actual health shop and they've done a fab job so far. Will be one on our go to lists.

It was extremely busy & so noisy on a Saturday night, I'd gone for a catch up with friends over dinner which was pointless as you couldn't hear each talk, there's no soft furnishings in the main restaurant so it's so loud. The ground floor disabled toilet was disgusting, very dirty, hadn't been cleaned at all, lots of broken equipment, the floor needs painting & a complete makeover required. The food however was lovely, very tasty and the staff were really attentive, polite & friendly, the fact we were only given a 2 hour table window, we were served quickly & out the door in less than that time. But we were glad to get out as we were able to go elsewhere where we could catch up without shouting at each other.

Absolutely love eating out at Smoque. Have been several times now, and definitely will be returning. The service is good, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The dishes I have tried so far definitely do not disappoint. Would definitely recommend.

I usually love Smoque however yesterday when I went to the restaurant it was so cold that we had a heater on our table. There was definitely a draft in the restaurant. The food is usually really good however I had to send my first lamb donner back for being cold. When I tasted the donner it wasn't that flavoursome not as it usually is, I even asked the waiter if they had changed the supplier or person who makes it. Otherwise the food was really nice, the lamb adanna had loads of flavour and I enjoyed my mac and cheese. Hopefully this was just a blip because I really like Smoque.

Went here for my Birthday celebrations with a few friends, a great evening, lovely cocktails, attentive staff, but their singing could do with some improvement! Lol, would highly recommend.

Delicious succulent food with many different options for sauces. Excellent customer service from Rowan who went above and beyond. Affordable friendly prices. Will definitely recommend and I will be returning.

First time i went there. Service was great no one rushed us. Nice place to have a catch up. You can use the bar and not eat if thats your thing. We ate..it was nice all around. Parked right outside too.

Coame for shisha Friday evening, we was treated to top level service from the staff, the shisha was amazing, best we had in London. Warm place and plenty of space. Staff checked on us frequently and made sure everything was OK, if you're looking for a chilled, lovely vibe shisha definitely try this place!

Great atmosphere great food and drinks

Had a table of 5 booked 2 of us arrived first had to wait 40 minutes for 2 drinks then ordered more, had to constantly ask where the drinks were, paid our bill which came up to £247 upon leaving I was chased by a member of staff to pay for the 2 drinks we ordered when we first arrived I think is rather cheeky as we paid our bill initially and we had to wait 40 minuets for 2 drinks and the drinks should have been added to our bill in the first place, service is shocking and extremely unorganised, the road man host which is a tall gentleman was walking around in a trap star coat I thought I was in the ghetto for a second , won’t be returning

Good food, great service and atmosphere

The food is presented well. I had the squid as a started it had no flavour, and the batter just fell off. My main was fish trio, the salmon was OK, it didn't have any flavour and was overcooked, the fish cake was nice. My friend had the mixed grill, and she said it was good. My cocktail (smoque tiki) was flavoursome. There were plenty of waiters. However, on a busy Friday evening, expect them to be rushing around. There were about 8 birthday celebrations. Honestly, I think I can now sing 'happy birthday' in Turkish, confidentially. The restaurant itself looks good, but depending on your reason for visiting, it felt a little too hectic for me. I will try and visit again at a less busier time and order something different.

Outstanding amazing food, had the best shisha ever. The Shisha guy Aydın was amazing very friendly and looked after us kept asking if everything was okay looked after us with the changing of coals regularly love this place will be back as a regular 😄

They have the best food I have eaten in London, I was over the moon, well seasoning, juicy, everything is fresh.. their cocktail blew my mind.. I came here for my birthday, waitress name I think was isabel , very hard working and made sure we enjoyed our time at the restaurant .

Our waitress Gaby was very friendly and welcoming , making sure we were comfortable and listened to all of our needs. The restaurant was clean and had a calm atmosphere. I would seriously recommend going to SMOQUE

Warm welcoming friendly staff good food

First time visiting and will definitely come again! The staff were all very welcoming and happy to give suggestions of what their food favourites were. The menu has a good selection of meat and veggie options. For our starters we had the halloumi, falafel and Hummus with pita. For mains we had the chicken shish, lamb shish and the lobster mac and cheese. All the food we had was delicious and the service was very quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend coming for birthdays & celebration dinners.It’s a lovely atmosphere with great food and plenty of cocktails to enjoy too!

Very lush atmosphere and awesome staff, looked after us very well. Everyone was very attentive and food was efficiently delivered. Even gave us the speaker when we had shisha outside. Server Aydın is a gem.

It was early so we were the only ones there, but the place was nice and clean and pleasantly welcoming. The Squid meal was excellent but required to be accompanied by side dishes. Well worth the experience. For the more discerning pallet and reflective in the fees.

Overall was good, the ribeye steak wasn't the best.

Food tastes very good! Service is top notch and staff are very friendly with kids too! The chargrilled meats are very good but what I enjoyed most was the falafel salad!!! The best salad I ever had!

Amazing food and cocktails Staff....from security to waiters are far too kind. They go over and above to make my dining experience a memorable one. I hosted my birthday dinner here, and all my guests were amazed with their food and service.

Atmosphere was great, service was great and food came after about 10 mins of ordering, taking into account that the venue was full!

Came here for dinner and absolutely loved it. The restaurant is really nice with great decor. I really enjoyed the prawns for starters, nice and flavourful and the bread and hummus was really good too. We also had the bread with cheese which was really good. The mixed grill was massive, you get a lot of meat and it all was grilled to perfection and tasted really good. The chips were good and so was the rice. The cocktails tasted good but you could barely taste the alcohol in them. The strawberry daiquiri was my favourite but it would have been amazing if there was more alcohol init. Great restaurant for birthday dinners and they have a cute area upstairs with a large chair you can take some great pictures on. Would definitely visit here again. Food is a good price for the amount of food you get but cocktails are over priced as they are not that strong. I like that they have an outdoor area where you can also do Shisha. Great vibes in the restaurant and the staff are really friendly and the service is good. Would definitely visit again.

Nice shisha restaurant and bar. Big in size, so it can hold large groups, and they also have a private dining area. Decor is lovely, and they have a selfie mirror upstairs. Food was good (the usual Turkish menu), and portion sizes are huge...definitely worth the money. Service was great, and they did the best virgin daquari...Shosha area is outside, but it's covered ...Recommended for sure

I had my birthday celebration here for 17 people and some were late but the staff were so patient and calm. We had a blast! Food was in large portions, served hot & delicious, drinks were incredibly tasty. The toilets were clean, full of light and great place for pictures. They had these beautiful thrones at the entrance of the washrooms!

This was my go to place, unfortunately I was misled by many of the staff claiming the whole menu is halal, i was told that there is actually alcohol in the food, so please other muslims, be aware, this isn’t halal and cannot be taken as such from word of mouth- certification is needed to make sure this is hmc. Please do not mislead your customers this is outrageous

I attended this venue with family. It is a spacious environment that looks capable of seating up to 100 people. We booked a table for 10, including 3 minors. Staff were attentive towards adjusting our seating arrangements due to concerns that the two children's prams could be affected by people passing by. The staff were generally helpful and responsive. From the time orders were made to the service of the food, we waited approximately 25 mins. Bare in mind this was on a Sunday at 4:30pm. I ordered a mixed grill for two people and was not disappointed with the portion and seasoning of the food. The meal consisted of a selection of salads, four to five grilled chicken wings, two chicken kofte, two lamb kofte, slices of lamb donor; four to five chicken shish and four to five lamb shish. This came with side options, I chose rice and fries. Overall, the seasoning was nicely marinated, and the food was tenderly cooked. The cost was around £45. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone thinking of travelling to Bromley for a meal.

Food is amazing, but the chairs are terrible. Not sure why they'd use narrow chairs with arm rests, I'm a big guy and my thighs were being pinched. Food and staff are 5* but I'd rate the comfort 1*.

This place is out of this world. The food and the service from the staff are amazing. By far, this restaurant has the best service in terms of a very attentive waiter. I highly recommend the adana kebab and doner kebab.

One of the best restaurants in Bromley!

Really loud music playing to the point where you have to shout to speak to people on your table. Food was average but expensive.

A very nice experience. I arrived late passed my scheduled time. But the restaurant was still able to accommodate me, even though it was quite busy. Our server was brilliant, with a good knowledge of the menu. The mixed grill is one of the best I've had with a load of food on the plate cooked to perfection. I almost never finished 😉 Overall, a great dining night out, and will definitely be making a return visit.

Visited Smoque recently for the first time. What a great experience. Got a friendly welcome on arrival, which set the tone. Myself and 3 friends had a corner table. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. He recommended the sharing platter for 4 and a couple of sides. (Sweet potato fries, fries and extra hummus. It looked amazing and to top it off, it tasted as great as it looked. The fresh water melon juice was 10/10. I would recommend checking out Smoque. I am definitely going back. Nice atmosphere, good service and the food was spot on.

Great tasting food - although me and my group only ate starters as we've been fasting & we get full really quickly so would definitely visit again and try some mains next time. The servers was all lovely; service was fast considering how busy it was. Only downfall is how close the tables are and it can get really loud in there.

Great reception upon entering, friendly staff. The food was outstanding! I had the Octopus Ceviche and Lambs Liver, then the Lamb Kleptiko (I think that is spelt right) Food was beautifully presented and the seasoning was spot on for me. Allergen information on the menus was well laid out. Out the party of 7, everyone was well fed and left satisfied. Lots of “happy birthdays” being played out. There wasn’t any room for desserts. Would love to come back.

This restaurant was so welcoming and lovely only came for shisha and drinks but the service and atmosphere was astounding!! The energy was lovely and I had a great time!! Shisha was great always topped up and the drinks were perfect !

All round fantastic restaurant, gorgeous food, lovely cocktails and great atmosphere. Staff were lovely too, a little rushy to clear plates, but it's because they appear to have back to back bookings.

Like an oasis in the desert we stumbled across this restaurant whilst desperate to eat after 10pm. Everywhere else was shut so we said “Guess this will have to do” without expecting too much. What a great surprise. Very friendly staff (Adam was amazing). Very fast service and waiters who don’t even need pen and paper to take an order (kudos). Food was delicious and plentiful and great value Can’t recommend this restaurant enough and we will be coming back again when in the area. Five star !

Smoque offers a delightful Turkish cuisine experience! I recently visited with a friend and savored their mix grill for one—it was cooked to perfection, and I couldn’t get enough of it. The cocktails were a highlight as well—ample in size and bursting with flavor. The speedy service and attentive, friendly staff added to the enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend!

OH MY!!! Booked this prior to seeing a show in Bromley. This was the best idea we had! Great restaurant, clean, spacious, friendly staff. The food was delicious, large portions beautifully presented 😍 . They offered us a doggie bag for what we couldn't eat, but declined as didn't want to take in in the theatre. I wish this was near my house! Highly recommended!

If you want a lively venue for a group, this is the place. However I had the Lobster Mac & Cheese which was overpriced ...I counted 7 pieces for £22.95 which was expensive for what it was a pasta dish... flavour lacking too! Staff work hard to please.

Positives - food was ok (a little cold), DJ in VIP lounge was very good... NEGATIVES - Smoque allowed 4 different parties to book on the same night which meant my sisters birthday was spoilt as we were stuck in a corner even though it was booked 4 weeks in advance. Manager (female) was rude and patronising and extremely unhelpful. She stated there was nothing she could do.. There are too many managers...someone take responsibility!! My son overheard the owner state that I was being miserable because I (like many others) complained The waiter spoilt the surprise as he announced the cake was coming out when he should not of. I (nor the other 40 people I suggested to go there ) will be going back to smoque anytime soon I would recommend smoque have a better booking system instead of being told (by the owner himself) that they are not good at communicating

Great food and very good portion sizes. Shame about the decor and the condition of the loos. Although clean, it had a serious element of night club wear and tear going on. It was also really cold out, and the place was freezing. A bit of planning ahead on that front would have been good.

Love this place! Food and cocktails are all amazing! Friendly staff. Music is great. Definitely recommend a visit!
