Amazing authentic Indian food ! Loved it completely. Finally found a real Indian restaurant and Arjun and Satish were really helpful! Nice and spicy just the way we like it. Will definitely tell all our friends nearby about Tabla. Want to try the chats next time.

This is the first time we ate foods from this restaurant. Foods was so delicious and well cooked with mild spices. In the past, I have ordered many Indian foods but Tabla restaurant at Chingford its just full of flavour. The foods are really appetizing. My favourite dish was chicken Biryani. Henceforth, Tabla will be my first choice. Also, dessert was luscious.

Tabla is my absolute favourite, go to authentic Indian restaurant. The food tastes so great with the staff always being attentive and providing first class service. The manager is very kind, giving us good suggestions on what to try and always comes over to ask how the food is etc. I was really happy to see that the restaurant was part of the Government's Eat Out to Help Scheme. I was able to enjoy this amazing food at half the price!

We went to Tabla Restaurant Chingford for a family dinner to support local restaurants for the government scheme! I must say this is the best indian restaurant I have been to in many many years. Our bill was around £100 and as the restaurant gives up to £10 off we got £40 off as there for four of us. The manger explained everything clearly to us and was calm and very welcoming. I would like to thank the management for their professionalism and keeping us very well entertained. The chefs are amazing! Our food came our piping hot and fresh! I would definitely be back!

We went to Tabla Chingford for the government scheme, to support local restaurants. As soon as we walked in, me and my family were shown to our table by the lovely manager who was very welcoming and just a happy bundle of joy. Even though the restaurant was busy the Management made sure we were all okay and having a fabulous time. The chefs cooked us something amazing! The best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to! I cannot explain how tasty and wonderful the food was. The service was amazing The food was amazing Our bill came and was perfectly discounted to the government scheme. It’s either up too £10 off or 50% off not including any alcoholic drinks! Fantastic scheme! Again, I would personally like to thank the manager and his staff for his wonder service and the chefs for cooking us the best Indian food we’ve ever had! I will be definitely going back!

Went for an evening out with family encouraged by Government scheme to eat out. Instead of getting 50% discount I was given 45%. The manager was adamant he was doing it correctly even though the hmrc Web site says 50 %. Otherwise food good but limited vegetarian dishes compared to their Ilford branch.

We were wrongly charged and when I confronted the manager he became aggressive and rude despite clearly being in the wrong.

Lovely lunch today at Tabla. Best lamb curry as part of a non vegetarian Thali. Highly recommend. Great staff. Well organised for COVID felt safe and clean.

We popped in here for lunch and were so pleased that the owner had decided to serve thalis on a weekend lunch again. We had a delicious meal, friendly service, and a gentle bill. It compared really well with Thali meals in south India. We’ll be back!

Without a doubt the best tasting indian food in Chingford, depth of flavour and true love in the cooking. Had so many take aways slowly working through the menu and have not found a thing I dislike! The staff are jolly, friendly lovely people. I am a big fan!

Tonight was my first visit to Tabla chingford after recommendation and all I can say is wow I was blown away. The food is Indian punjabi which is my favourite. I only had one big favourite and for sure this one has overtaken that and it’s now my only. Incredible food. Amazing service the flavours are just amazing and Rijul the owner is so welcoming and spends time actually getting to know his customers unlike other restaurants where you are just pound signs. Thank you so much for the delicious food and amazing service. Il be back next week x

First time eating here tonight with my husband. We've walked past a few times thinking we must try the food! Well we wasn't disappointed at all! The food was freshly made and full of flavour, with each bite you could taste a different ingredient of spice's and herbs.. I will visit again the hospitality is warm and welcoming a must visit!

Having frequented Tabla Ilford on a number of occasions, my family I thought we'd give Tabla Chingford a try. The food was so delicious. We had the mixed grill for starters. The chicken was cooked just right and not dry at all. The Rajasthani Laal Ma's was so tender and full of flavour. If you want good food, give Tabla Chingford a try and you definitely won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this establishment..

The food is excellent. Ingredients - different from all the other Indian restaurants. Great service. Not cheap but worth it!

Well what can I say I would definitely recommend trying Tabla’s dishes. It’s delicious very tasty not oily. Staff are very friendly - my husband and I would like to Say a big Thank you to the Manager for been very understanding tonight regarding a minor issue we raised regarding our order. Apart from that every is perfect. Thank you.

A taste bud extravaganza. The food was excellent and the service was great. We are staying in the area for a few more weeks so will definitely be back.

I have visited Tabla twice. On the first occasion I was impressed with the authentic taste of the food. The starters were impressive and the service was good. Overall a good experience. On return visit I was pleased that the quality of the food was good. The Salmon starter is very tasty. Service was excellent and overall I would recommend this restaurant for a good night out.

We have eaten at Tabla on a couple of occassions and have to say its one of the best restaurants weve been to. The food is delicious...bursting with flavours and well presented.i enjoyed the fish curry which was on par with those ive eaten in India.THe staff are friendly and its great to be able to see the chefs preparing the food at front of house. We like the friendly and relaxed atmosphere...family friendly which is a plus!A place to try!

Although the staff were pleasant, the restaurant clean, the food was truly awful. Three of us dined there, all choosing different meals & only one of us was able to eat their meal. I chose prawn biryani, which I have eaten many, many times in the UK & other countries. Never have I had a biryani with a burnt top, which tasted of charred herbs. Worse still was the vegetable curry that accompanied it. A sort of broth, fairly tasteless with just sweetcorn & sliced mushroom. The amazing part of it was the waiter producing it with great flourish & a huge smile telling us that they were experimenting with something different, it was different alright, horrible. Admittedly after we complained to the manager, we weren't charged for the two inedible meals, they did offer to make us something different & gave a complimentary dish consisting of three different types of desserts to share. By this time all we wanted to do was leave, to go home to brush our teeth to get rid of the dreadful taste in our mouths. The manager listened to our criticisms with good grace & I hope he took them onboard & rectifies the problems.
