Tai Buffet in City of London, Westminster

Anteriormente Tai buffet que tenía una sucursal en la bahía de la calzada de Hong Kong pero cerró hace décadas, hay una sucursal en Londres ahora rebautizada como Su vegana. Aunque era consciente de que nunca fui porque no me gustaba el personal allí, que era tan antipático. Ahora es mucho mejor con el personal de habla inglesa que se refleja en más clientes. De todas formas, me encantó la salsa de jengibre verde en patatas, el pato para las tortitas estaba tan seco que puse picadillo en lugar del plato de berenjenas. Destacaron la sopa de maíz, tofu mapo, papas y salsa de jengibre verde, postre de sagú. El mapo tofu estaba muy sabroso porque era fuerte en el lado de los frijoles miso pero no picante. Los platos son pequeños como placas laterales, lo que es bueno en cierto modo para aquellos sin autocontrol y detiene a las personas que toman una gran cantidad del mismo artículo sin dejar nada para los demás. En general suciedad barato y delicioso buffet vegano con paz y tranquilidad pero civilizado.

Este es un muy buen valor vegano todos - usted - puede - comer restaurante buffet que sirve al menos 35 platos diferentes para elegir cuando visité para el almuerzo un miércoles. La elección es excelente con una variedad de platos fríos y calientes, incluyendo gyoza, tofu, fideos y mucha carne falsa a base de soja. Los platos varían, pero en general la calidad de la comida es muy buena - no demasiado salado, aceitoso o demasiado picante y con algunos ingredientes de buena calidad, especialmente en la barra de ensalada fría. Los platos de servicio se calentaron y se cubrieron con un indicador de temperatura para que pudieran estar seguros de que el contenido se mantenía caliente. La joya de la corona es que usted consigue todo - usted - puede - comer por solo £ 9. 90 para el almuerzo, que es una oferta espectacularmente buena. Podrían cobrar fácilmente £ 15 y todavía sería una ganga absoluta. Incluso las bebidas son razonables: agua, coca, té, etc. por solo £ 2 y cerveza y vino por £ 4 por copa. Wow gran ganga comida de calidad. Los fideos, las verduras, los bollos, el Mao Pao, y mucho más con un amable servicio de apoyo y opciones de buffet o caja para llevar. Gran precio y vale la pena la visita por la comida de calidad a un precio de super calidad.

I went all the way down to this restaurant from South East London and it was not open. It didn’t even exist. I thought I’d found a vegan Chinese buffet. Disaster

This is a amazing buffet Thai restaurant with lots of options from there delicious veg beef mince to there tofu, I’ve got to say their roast potatoes are nothing like I’ve had before and there amazing and crumtious, also if you have the veg spring rolls or prawn toast be sure to put duck sauce on it, it’s amazing, also very accommodating for halal & vegetarian eaters.

Great service and delicious vegan food for just £10, eat as much as you want. The ideal for us Italians. I'll be back.

I've been here many times and the only negative of this place is that it is REALLY scruffy inside!! But if you can put up with it being scruffy, then the food is really nice. Everything is freshly cooked and completely vegan, and there is a wide choice of delicious freshly cooked food. I love the food here, but I just wish it wasn't so scruffy!

My girlfriend and I are cheapskates and enjoy honest, and delicious food. We are both vegan and are always looking for tasty food, that is also relatively healthy. Tai delivered on all fronts! It also helped that the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.

I recommend this buffet, the food is good and the owner is very polite and helpful. I choose meat free. It's very good price so if you have young children it makes it so economical.

Tai Buffett - Shepherds Bush Had an excellent meal here at the Tai Buffett, really didn’t know what to expect as it’s a vegetarian buffet and I’m not vegetarian but looked so good we gave it a try. So happy we did as it didn’t disappoint the food was delicious very fast and plenty of choice. This is very good value for money the staff were lovely and friendly and we will be back.

Decent food. Cutlery and glasses looked abit old. Owner seemed like he was having a bad day.

Although it isn’t a beautifully decorated restaurant, don’t let this put you off!! It’s the best vegan buffet for value I’ve ever come across. The crispy sweet and sour and the tapioca pudding is delicious! The staff are always friendly and happy to help. Only thing I would change is that it’s cash only- apart from that it’s great!

Wow we had a lovely dinner here and we will definitely be back. We didn’t know what to expect with an all vegetarian Chinese buffet but we were not disappointed it was amazing. Great food great flavours and lots of choice, for the money you cannot go wrong. Everything was freshly cooked and the staff were lovely.

Economical, decent for what you paying, I would recommend to go to Aroma which is opposite has many choices

This place is honestly the most amazing buffet I have ever eaten at, fully vegan and lots of choice! Food is tasty, and best of all its 10 pounds! ( 9 pounds before 16:00 and take away is 6 pounds, cash only ) of course the interior of the place has some paint etc that doesn’t look great, but hey for 10 pounds its great! they also have toilets downstairs. overall a must visit if you are are in London!

Food really yummy and a nice selection of vegan food. I have been already several times and the quality of the food has been always good and tasty. Moreover, the owner and employees have been always nice and polite and made me feel really comfortable. Super recommended.

Excellent food ,a big variety of food

I'm really glad I came to Tai. This isn't a place of fine dining so adjust your expectations accordingly! It's a cheap all you can eat that's also vegan, and sometimes that's what hits the spot. The food was tasty - the major let down is that allergens weren't always listed. Service was decent too (if not exceptional, but that's OK! I just wanted to eat some food!).

We had dinner, the food was excellent. But most of all I want to thank you for your honesty. I left my expensive camera with not much cheaper photos, and we flew out of London early in the morning. I wrote to a relative to go and ask, maybe they found it. After a thorough examination, she was given the camera. Thank you for your generosity and honesty!

Great food. Fresh and hot (except the salad section!). Lovely staff. Toilets are downstairs but there's two. Cash only but the buffet is only £10!

Look, it is what it is. It is a bargain price, great for the day after a late night and the apples soaked in blackcurrant squash are something I think about more often then I care to admit. Honestly though, kinda love this place. I’ll be back.

This was a great experience! You can go to the veggie buffet as often as you like and fill your belly. We allways appreciate to find nice old school asian buffets at very affordable prices like this one. That this one is vegetarian too is a win. Do not expect a nice enteriőr as the buffet price for an all you can eat dinner/lunch is under £10. Prepare yourself for a poor "lookalike" inside. But the best thing besides the acceptable price is that everything is VEGAN!!!! You can have different mock-meals with seitan, tofu such as sweet and sour chicken (no chicken), curry, black bean (no) chicken, (no) beef, etc. I really enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken. Also I was glad to have different salads, purple cabbage, cabbage with carrots. The cukkini with mushrooms was nice too. The veggie ball tasted a bit sweet so I rather ate it as dessert. The apple with cranberry sauce tasted nice as dessert or a slice of apple on the top of the meal. The staff makes all the meals in front of your eyes but not like a cooking show. They just don't hide it. It is worth to prepare that you can only pay cash before your dining. If you want a drink you can have e.g. freshly made carrot juice (cca 0.3l) for £3.5. If you are a hungry vegan and don't want to pay over £10 for your meal and want to be filled go to this buffet. Update: Still good! 🙂we took our friends there and they enjoyed the meal too. Did I mention you can take away too? (£6)

We love this place it's cheap it's all vegan and it greasy Chinese food!! £10 all u can eat and it's just wonderful!! If it wasn't so far away for us we'd be there much more!!

Feedback for Tai vegetarian. Soya beef red curry. the dish was not like the photos. There were no potatoes or carrots as described in the introduction of the dish and shown in the photos. And there was no coconut flavour. just orange liquid and chunks of soya beef. The vendor also pushed for rice as he said the dish was not complete without rice. He also sold the rice at a double price to compare with the menu. He charged £4.80 for plain rice, on the menu it is £2.80.

I have placed an order online and went to cancel literally 30 seconds after I placed it. Now I can’t get a refund and I can’t even cancel the order because the restaurant DOES NOT PICK UP THEIR PHONE!! I have been calling for 20 minutes now trying and trying again with no damn luck🥲 please for the love of god answer the phone.

Happy to find that my tree nut allergic daughter was able to eat everything on the menu. Nice starters especially the mock duck pancakes and lots of colourful fresh veg available on the cold section. Starters were basic and okay. Happy to find somewhere that does vegan prawn crackers. .Mains were okay. The noodles were chewy and either old or over fried. The sweet and sour was tasty. Limited selection of desserts let’s the place down. Okay food for £10!!

£10 pp buffet. Food is good for the price. Was excited to try the soya beef and the noodles but apparently all the food on the left side is cold , didn't taste good in my opinion. I gave that cold food plate back to the staff to be thrown away and grabbed myself another plate. Later I saw them putting hot food on the "cold food area" so I wonder if they just leave that food there to get cold? Anyway, had the natural orange juice, very nice too. A lot of choice , all veggie . Weird mood in the place, staff looks unhappy. No decor.

Was für ein Glück, dass wir reingegangen sind.. Es sah schon von außen so lecker aus. Wir dachten es ist ein "klassischer" Asiate, Super freundlich bei der Beratung. Diese brauchte ich auch, denn alles ist vegetarisch /vegan!. Jedes Gericht hat anders geschmeckt und war so lecker. Tolle Auswahl! Absolut empfehlenswert. Einfach darauf einlassen und probieren....

Super Leckeres Essen. Und Service und Ambiente für den Preis super. Alles toll gewürzt, zuberei wird vor den Augen der Gäste.

We weny there today with my son. We received horrible service from the male that stands by the till. I ordered small take away. He watched me and my box. I was looking to add sauces at the end and he said I have enough in my box . When I reached for napkins he just rudely asked me to take just 2 . I literally lost my appetite . At the end of the day people are paying his wage , he does not need to behave like that . As I visit this place regularly I have seen in the past visit how he treats his customers . This time was me .

Staff is very confrontational with customers. I merely asked a simple question if the price is included with drinks. He replied in Chinese - that translates wishful thinking. Which is very rude. I asked him why did he say that? He denied. He thinks I do not understand Chinese. To a point he even hurled vulgarities. Horrible service. I have never been treated like that from a restaurant. He uses f you to us in front of my elderly parents. DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT. Cheap price, horrible service! DO NOT GO HERE unless you don’t mind being treated like crap.

Tried it once and was enough. Stop saying duck soya and chicken soya !! Just say soya because there is no such a thing as a soya animal🤣 and Iam a meat eater ! Spring rolls had no filling and noodles had a really weird smell, results ? Quite obvious, one night of vomiting.

"Funky" is the best word I have to desrcibe the taste of the food, of which I couldn't bring myself to eat more than a couple bites. Only people I would reccomend this to are those who've lost their sense of taste due to COVID-19

Visited on a Saturday evening. Not too busy. The quality Vs the price was good. I found the vegetable dishes to be very satisfying. The vegan meat was ok too. The vegan meat was reasonably enjoyable as I didn't feel guilty for eating an animal like I normally would

This has been the worst place I have ever eaten from. The buffet was vegan and there was no warning stating that this place is vegan. To top it off the food was so unseasoned. I only had a plate before I thought that I should leave because the food is horrible. I went to pay and the person behind the counter demanded its a cash only place and charged £9 for one plate. Even though I only had 3 items from the buffet which were all horrible. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid!

You will not get better value for money with Vegetarian and Vegan food. The drinks are also competitively priced. Service is very good.

Phenomenal, if you're vegan (or not I suppose) and can access this place, please go, lovely staff and the food is great and totally worth every penny. 10/10. I recommend trying the sweet and sour, the (cold) marinated square slices, and for dessert-tapioca in coconut milk.

This place becomes my favourite Turkish restaurant after one visit, the food is so tasty, portions are generous and the service is outstanding seeing the staff helping each other shows great leadership you can see how much they enjoy working there and they have respect for one another and it is really nice to be in that positive atmosphere 👍🏽 😀

Such a great spot! Only £8 for an all-you-can-eat buffet. It seems like most things are fried in a lot of oil so it’s definitely not the healthiest option, but that’s no problem for me 😋 Lots of vegan fake meat options which are delish, but also plenty of veggie based options if you’re not into that!

Sorry this was a very bad experience the food had no taste, me and my wife couldn't even finish our plate, the only good thing was the fresh fruit, so basically we just had a buffet of fruits.

Always great to come back to this place! The price of the all you can eat is very affordable and although the variety hasn't changed much throughout the years, it's still a good quality! Definitely recommended :)

Odwiedziliśmy to miejsce wraz z chłopkiem i wyszliśmy bardzo niezadowoleni… Owszem jedzenie tanie ale cena adekwatna do jakości jedzenia. W środku brudno i nieprzyjemne zapachy, obsługa biega przez cały lokal z brudnymi i gorącymi garnkami . Osobiście ponownie nie odwiedzę tego miejsca.

Absolutely sensational food for the price it's being offered at especially for buffet standards. Easily confused with Thai food this is actually a type of Chinese cuisine, I couldn't recommend it more. The staff are so warm and welcoming and extremely accomodating, food all tasted sublime i was left highly impressed and with 2 of us eating until our hearts content, inclusive of a fresh pressed juice and a tea at a mere price of £20 I was extremely happy and will definitely be going back 😍

This has been number 1 on my list of restaurants to visit in London for some time. And after months of saying I would I finally did. I can now happily say this is an incredible buffet with amazing vegan Chinese food. Firstly you can tell this food is made with effort, from the chicken curry to the mixed vegetables, everything just tastes good. I haven’t always been someone who has eaten Chinese food but I reckon this buffet has alternatives to most Chinese dishes served at takeaways. I enjoyed everything I ate here and being quite a picky eater I can’t fault anything at this restaurant. Not to mention staff were lovely and this buffet comes in at a cheap £8. I would 100% recommend this place to vegans!

Best vegetarian/vegan place in the area as other places you'll pay loads more and this is really good food for an all you can eat buffet fully vegetarian/vegan just around the corner from Shepard's Bush station. Great value and quality food. It's cash only but there is a free ATM just 1 minute walk down the street.

Perfectly fine for a passing-by vegan lunch. Went on a Saturday lunchtime and there's a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, lots of different veg and proteins. My main complaint would be that all the 'hot' food was lukewarm at best. Its also cash only which is fine but the sign was pretty small so easily missed

Amazing vegan buffet and great price

Always a pleasure to go. The staff are friendly, they check up on you every now and then and welcome you with smiles. The food is great, always hot, fresh and full of flavour. There is not a huge spread but there is plenty for what you want, sweet and sour "chicken", curry "chicken" curry "Beef", noodles, rice, vegan mince, roast potatoes,spring rolls, sesame toast, onion rings, bean sprouts, tofu and cold vegan beef with lots of veggie options. Desert is tapioca Pearl's and fruits. All vegan and all delicious! £8 per person, all you can eat.

Dedicated meat eater but my vegan stepkid wanted to try it. Can't fault the quality of the food, friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the restaurant. I'm leaving on a very full belly. Really enjoyed the sweet and sour vegan chicken with rice. I would definitely drive the hour to come back and I would highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed

We ate here in a night in December, so the food was fairly cold due to the door being open. The food was mediocre. It was cheap, but I wouldn’t go to this place expecting great food.

and I believe it is gluten free too. Healthy eating for only £7.99 buffet lunch. Food was freshly prepared and topped up whenever it runs out. Tasty and delicious.

The good thing about this place is that you can see the food before you go in. It was nice on my visit but I wish it was friendlier. Most photos on my blog. I believe they used to have a restaurant in hongkers like 15 years ago in cwb.
