I booked a table for 16 people for my mums 85th birthday. We all ordered separately but all food came out together which was excellent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. From booking online, calling after to make amendments to service on evening. Would recommend.

We are new to eating at this pub we do eat alot but this is the best that we have used and now we go regular and taken different friends with us and they are all impressed with everything they have to offer

Yeah it was ok for a cheapy. It's not 2 for 1 like the others in the chain. Instead it's maybe 45% of the price. Which, to clarify, means it's cheaper. We've been back there a few times since then I continue to be satisfied. Now been for the Christmas menu and it's 15 quid for 3 courses.

Lovely food. We mostly had the burgers and one steak. Staff were so nice too, very friendly and attentive. We'll be back 😊

Not the best lunch we've had, very disappointing. Took Daughter and Grandson for my Birthday. There were lots of new staff faces and trying to get a smile out of our server was very difficult. Not sure if we would go again as it is our local.

Watch Villa, Liverpool-great local pub where the locals go for a pint. Good banter with Sean, Ian, joe and few of the locals. Good Guinness. Didn't eat but menu looked good.

I came in here with family on the 26th of September when there was a massive downpour. The poor staff were soo busy managing the flooded cellar and several roof leaks alongside the large influx of customers. Because of the situation, it took over an hour for food to get to us but it was understandable. The vegan food I got and drink were good and we still had a lovely time.

Quick bite to eat on the way home. Food was hot and fast. Good portion sizes. The pub has a nice and friendly atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and interacting with the kids. Lovely experience will be back soon! Thank you to all the staff.

This place is superb for hot, fresh food and is the best in the local area by far! Had a birthday meal here for a 5-year old with ten adults, and everyone enjoyed it. I was glad I recommended the place for the birthday, and people who hadn't been with us before are now converted to the Foley as well!! Very well done guys, first class everytime, great food and super staff 👏🏻

Staff wee amazing they couldn’t do enough for us . I do feel it needs a refurb . Tables and carpet a little worn.

A pub for the regulars. Get a voucher code before eating here. Chatty staff, 'to the regulars', leaves you standing at the bar. The online ordering app having failed. Basic egg frying let the cook down, so overall a troubling visit.

Haven't been in the Foley for a very long time, 20 years at least. Little bit messy and staff a little distracted due to putting up Halloween decorations, and some work being done too. Nice fish and chips, decent pint of pedigree. Elderly parents like it every so often, price and portions wise, and was nice to be out with them.

Went to check out The Foley Arms having decided to book for Christmas Day. Really happy to find that, not only is the food good, but it has the friendly atmosphere of a local from the past. Genuinely felt like a pub that does good food rather than a restaurant that has a bar, which most pubs seem to feel like these days.

Hi had little bit of a wait for food as the football was on and very busy but when the food arrived was lovely I had Hunter's chicken and my partner add doner kebab really nicely cooked and great staff will definitely go again thank you 😊

Popped in for a quick pint and a bite to eat and wound up staying for the evening. Great little pub with great staff. Our server Becky was excellent, nothing was too much trouble . She's a great asset to the pub.

Bar staff very friendly but the girl serving our food obviously didn't feel the love for the job.....maybe just having a bad day. 😕

The Sunday lunch experience must rate as one of the worst experience I have had for a very long time. First of all we decided to try it as we had not been there for a long time. It was very quiet so we thought we wouldn’t have to wait long. After having starters which were ‘fine’ we had to wait for an hour for our mains ( we had heard complaints from othered at the wait). We ordered ‘large’ to get more meat and more Yorkshire for hubby who is a big eater. The turkey was tasteless and the ‘fluffy’ mashed potato was similar to a solid lump of concrete that had been left to set- disgusting. The Yorkshire pudding was a pancake, a soggy flat piece of batter. Strawberries and ice cream would have suited it much better than broccoli and a spoonful of cabbage. I know we had a voucher which was great but sorry I still think the food should have been edible. It was very disappointing. I now know why a discount voucher is needed there. One visit is enough to convince anyone not to return. By the way .i did complain at the time and this was met with a blank look and no response

I booked a meal at the Foley Arms. When I got there I was told the kitchen was closed. Therefore I was unable to eat. Ended up going elsewhere. I had a 30% off Mains voucher which I was unable to use. Very unhappy with the whole experience. If the kitchen was out of use I should not have been able to book a table.

Food was okay. Not great. Don’t think it’s 4 star, more 3.5. Outside decor not as in online photos. Outside needs a spruce up. Inside is nice and cosy. Okay for a standard lunch with friends or swift half.

Bar service was very good, staff friendly & attentive. The table service was good also.The table was needing cleaned, and this was done when we asked.. There was no cutlery in the condiment box/table number identification, but this was dually sorted with an apology & a smile. Food was really good for a chain, local pub.

Booked a table for 3 and a baby(under1) The staff from time to time had a word with the baby while we were waiting for our food,to keep her entertained.

Who on earth decided on how this place has been refurbished! Won't be walking our dogs here anymore, no covered area, no brolly, no outside heaters, what a waste of time, worst of all its a Marstons , the most expensive pub chain going. Doesn't anybody do any research nowadays to see what is used/not used at the establishments, its no wonder pubs are closing down on a daily basis. We did have a nice meal here the other day, but getting rid of the outside amenities is certainly a no no as far as I'm concerned. Used to sit outside & watch the sun going down, then put the heaters on as it got chillier late on can't do that now, well can if we go the Parson! Gone from a reasonably priced pub with good facilities, to a expensive pub with no facilities, just another case I'm afraid of the big brewery rip off that we are all so getting used to.

This spot is great to meet up with friends! The atmosphere for the euros has been amazing! Shannon has gone above and beyond for us all to make us feel welcome and really enjoy our time here! Been coming here for years and the place has never been better will be back for the game later! Speedy service smiley staff nothing is ever to much!

Went to watch the England game last night with my family, we ordered some food, it came promptly and was very very nice even though the pub was very busy . We found all the safe to be very attentive and polite despite being obviously very busy. I have eaten at several of the local pubs but the food in the Foley is the best. Would thoroughly recommend 👍

Great staff and manager, been coming here since January almost every week now with the wife and perfect for those who require a gluten free menu like our son. Very few places locally are able to offer a gluten free menu so perfect for us . And the Guinness is spot on too . See you Saturday for the euros 🤞🏻💪

I have not been in this pub since i was a teenager but was reccomended by my brother who has eaten there many times . The food was really good and it is the first time i have ever seen my grandaughter eat a full meal . Couldn't believe the price for 3 meals . It was really good food ,good service .

Came here a few weeks ago as we were passing, nice pub, football was on so the atmosphere was very lively. Nice little garden area for children to play pr to sit out there if you feel like it. Food was lovely, was one of the nicest steaks I've had in a pub. Have recommended to others and will definitely go there again.
