The best gin cocktails. Bartenders are knowledgeable, friendly and creative! Praveen was one who helped me a couple days while I stayed at the hotel. He is awesome. There was another bar guy, will update this review if I recall his name. The both of them, were a great team and ran the full bar - packed ! Wow!

11p on a Tuesday and, as three hotel guests, we got turned away because it was ‘full.’ Funny, there was enough space to host a whole football team, but apparently the waiter wasn’t feeling it. Pretty disappointing.

Our afternoon aperitive stop while exploring Covent Gardens. Lots of cocktails to choose from and despite the name, lots of liquor to choose from as well. We tried one of their many G & T and a different gin based cocktail. Well made, delicious, a little overpriced, but all in all, a fun way to spend an hour and some.

OK I'm a londonder and wouldn't normally be seen dead in a hotel bar BUT I was the guest of a resident . The Cocktail 'escaped baboon' was out of this world...I had two But lose points for charging for nibbles...that's really cheap

This is a really good place for drinks and gin specifically. We had some really nice bartenders

for such a nice (and expensive) place i was very disappointed with the service here... a minor issue was being served a regular tonic after asking for a slimline tonic, a major thing for me was that i asked for bourbon with no ice. it arrived with ice so the table service was clearly lacking and when i sent it back they simply removed the ice and served it back to me so it was just as chilled as before which entirely missed the point of asking for it with no ice to begin with. i'd honestly expect a place of this standard to be understanding this.

Great place to have a quiet conversation in a very busy area of London. Quality of drinks was top of the line.

Outstanding service. We were cared for (on numerous occasions) by David, he is fantastic, very knowledgeable and made some cracker suggestions. Highly recommend if you are a gin drinker. The seaside negroni is an experience!

The kicked us out becuase it was full. They didn’t even gave us a chance to wait. It was very rude and I felt discriminated

Locato all' interno di un hotel che, visto da fuori, non sembrava granché. Per quanto riguarda il bar, ha un atmosfera di tempi passati, arredato proprio come un trentennio fa, con comodi divanetti e molto legno tutt' intorno. Noi amiamo il gin quindi siamo stati soddisfatti dalla selezione e dalle combinazioni proposte. Servizio veloce e gentile. Da provare!

Expensive and the optional service charge they add on annoys me when they are charging so much anyway £4 for a small lemonade with the gin plus a tip. What a waste of money paying over £14 for one drink!

Couldn’t get in to give a serious review. Bartender/Host rudely turned us away saying they were “full” with many empty seats and no pre booking available, so unclear why we were not allowed in. No explanation, just rudely sent us on our way. The rest of the hotel was nice, so the other bar/restaurant kindly seated and served us.

Go to the gin palace for the beast gnt's in central london. The staff is really friendly as well

Great place to relax but very expensive.

The drinks are hit and miss. Service however is so low level. We had to ask for water 3 times and at the end the waiter lied and said service wasn't included when it was.

A totally charming bar... beautiful decor, lovely staff, and a bit of a hidden asset just to the South of Covent Garden in the Strand Palace hotel - God knows there's scarcely another reason for going there. It's usually quiet too in the early evening, so an ideal place to meet friends for drinks before a Covent Garden restaurant perhaps, or a theatre visit. Highly recommended.

Gute Gin Tonics, allerdings überschaubare Auswahl. Diese war dennoch gut. London Local war sehr gut.

Poor service (20 minutes for two drinks), happy hour was not honored, my female friend was greeted as 'sir', service charge is automatically added despite poor service (£2 to wait 20 minutes = great value!)

Staff great but prepare to sever and arm and leg as payment. Its basically a hyped up hotel bar. I realise drinks are expensive in hotels in London, but £15 for a single measure and compulsory service charge is taking it all a tad too far. Head across the road to the Coal Hole. Lovely London pub, better selection and a fraction of the cost.

Comfortable quiet place for a good gin and tonic, Selection is a medium but high.

They add a 12.5% "optional service charge". Did not see till after I paid, and had to ask for a receipt. The happy hour is only Monday to Thursday, despite what the sign out front says, and they only consider cocktails to be the ones specifically on the menu. So my order did not meet the grade (Rum and coke). In Canada a cocktail is any mixed drink with spirits. And on top of all that the booth seats where rock hard and the tables way too low. Pretty disappointing.. :(

Great selection of cocktails. Mon to Thu 5pm to 7, happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails. Fun decor, late night food served. Central London prices though.

Went here for a G@T but ended up having their Gin and tonic afternoon tea. Comes with a gin cocktail. We had one between two of us, just ordered another drink. Tea and coffee is bottomless so both had with no issues. Plenty of food for two. The scones were one of the best and came with plenty of jam and cream. Good selection of little cakes and a desert in a glass. Well worth visiting and had good service. Tastefully decorated and not on top of each other. We were walk ins and no problem being served

Overpriced menu with only few gin cocktails. Broken and overused furniture. Uncovinient card payment.
