The Glasshouse Restaurant in East Riding of Yorkshire

Having dined here twice this week during a 4 night stay at KP Lodges, we had excellent service and great food which was beautifully presented. The food and beverages were also excellent value. The resort was quiet so atmosphere was somewhat affected, though the warm welcome, attentive and professional service we recieved from the staff made up for the lack of patrons. We will certainly be visiting KP lodges again and look forward to dining at the Glasshouse.

I booked a table for 19 people for our Boxing Day lunch after a walk with my friend. Everything was perfect from booking to food and service. We were seated together on one table. Food came on time and was delicious. Our waiter was Will and he was very attentive and ensure every one needs were met and took care of my son allergy. Would definitely recommend to other and come again.

Enjoyed my 80th birthday meal with family and friends at the Glasshouse Restaurant last night. 26 people were served quickly with hot food - starters and mains. The food was delicious. We all chose different items from varied menu and no complaints at all. Was a very pleasant evening.

Fantastic views overlooking the golf course and beyond, the place is clean and modern, there's plenty of car parking, and plenty of tables inside and outside, the service was good and the food was reasonable (not gastro standard) good drinks choice all in all a nice place to go for lunch... especially on a nice sunny day sat outside.

Was literally sighed at for asking to order food after she took my colleagues' order, not my own. Felt like I was in a toxic relationship with the waitress. Couldn't even look at me, and barely spoke to me. Scoffing and sighing at things and just pisspoor attitude. Breakfast made up for the dinner but not the greatest

Went for lunch and everyone in the group got the roast. The wait for food was incredibly long and once it finally arrived it was cold. We told our waitress and she didn’t even apologise, just looked at us weird and said they’ll bring us new food. Had to wait for the food again and we were getting dirty looks from the entire waitstaff. Felt incredibly unwanted there the entire time. Absolutely disappointed

Helpful friendly staff & delicious food at a reasonable price. Spacious and child friendly. The orange sorbet that comes with the orange torte was exceptionally good. Glad we booked it despite seeing a few negative reviews - will definitely go back again.

The food is simple but nice. The people are excellent and you are well looked after. Atmosphere is nice but not cozy nice.

We stayed at the resort and booked in for a meal. The resteraunt is modern and spacious with lovely views over the golf course and further wolds. The food was excellent and service to match. We were not disappointed and would love to come back another time.

Met girl friends for lunch and catch up, staff, especially the young lady that looked after us, excellent, place was comfortable, lunch menu could offer a few more meals instead of snacks but all served well.

Lovely cafe but portions (individually too big). I ordered a wrap & chips cost £10.50. Should be £7.50 for 1/2 wrap and chips. Spend on lunch including drink should be around a tenner. Cost £14 incl drink but too expensive. Will stick to normal haunts unless options revised. I eat a lot & with groups of friends! Sorry but you need to raise your competitiveness!!! Breakfast deals similar but hide better quality & ambience. To get the business, offer unlimited tea refills!

Me and my boyfriend dined in at the Glasshouse Restaurant on Valentine’s Day & had such a lovely experience. A live singer and a great Valentine’s menu. The customer service was great, and the waiters was very accommodating. The food was so yummy and steak cooked to perfection. Had a great meal & lovely time. Highly recommend. Restaurant is super clean and gorgeous views.

The Christmas dinner was the best. Well prepared and delicious. Staff was amazing. Well done I will come again for another Christmas dinner

We stopped at the lodges here so we used the restaurant/bar for dinner in the evening and afternoon coffee. Pleasant place to sit, staff friendly, prices alright, the food wasn’t amazing but it did the job.

Attack of the wasps, not able to order food for Sunday Lunch

This place is very nice large terrace that’s impressive with plenty of outdoor seating good selection of drinks set in the beautiful grounds of the golf course. Staff were nice also attentive at the table . Young barman was chatty on Friday evening a great asset to the bar but staff not so welcoming on Saturday but still pleasant and service was quick. The food in my opinion was very good and prices are reasonable ascetically it was ok but everyone said everything taste lovely. I would definitely use this bar and restaurant again .

Setting and restaurant beautiful..and lots of meat for Father's Day lunch..but very tough to cut..a shame

Great experience at the Glasshouse Restaurant last night. I had the Seared Bacon Chop and my other half had the Pan Seared Salmon for mains and both were amazing. Also its not too busy on Tuesday night so good time to go. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to enjoy a drink and a view of the vale. Food is good quality

Went to the glasshouse with my family,and given the recent poor reviews we didn't know what to expect,,we all had a varied 3 course dinner and absolutely no complaints at all,nice food excellent attentive service despite there been a wedding function upstairs, well done guys 👍

£13 for breakfast consisting of one sausage, one egg, one rasher of bacon, and freezing beans is disgusting. Not only that but you have to help yourself to tea and coffee from a soup kitchen style boiler and the juice is cheap cartons poured into jugs etc which at the price should all be served to your table. The restaurant itself lacks character and charm and is a large cold open space resembling a canteen. The menu is also extremely limited.

Had the chicken bacon BBQ melt and it was rather nice with a good portion size and didn't have to wait too long. It did lack BBQ sauce to be fair, And drinks were served swiftly. Good menu options Negatives: Not a fan of the chips Pizza had hard overdone crusts Services was ... Okay, could have been more attentive

Whilst staying overnight, went to restaurant at 20:00 only to be told its not taking anymore food orders. Was advised to order a takeaway from nearby. Not exactly what I was expecting!

At first glance my family were a little bit disappointed by the atmosphere/style of the restaurant. Photos on the website made it look like a more sophisticated place, but when we got there laminated menus and people in dressed in sportswear made it feel slightly less so. However, staff were extremely helpful at all times. I had a small issue with my cutlery, which was quickly resolved by the serving staff and money was taken off our bill. I wasn't expecting any recompense at all, so this gesture of goodwill was an unexpected surprise and characteristic of the good nature we experienced from staff. Among the 6 of us we had a few different dishes. Salmon Risotto and Pork Cutlets went down a treat, though one Tagliatelle tasted as though it had been microwaved. This can't be said for the rest of our dishes though, which we all really enjoyed. All in all, if I lived locally I'd definitely stop in here for a casual meal again. I wouldn't hold the problems we had against them.

Used to love coming here for the food and the views, the views still good but the new covid menu isn’t.. what happened to the old menu, really missing the club sandwich (which is on the golf menu but not on the restaurant one?!). Please bring back the old menu so we can come for more than just drinks!
