Delicious food with amazing service. Staff were very friendly. Definitely would recommend to others!!

We had such a great night, the food was amazing, the decor was lovely, and the service and ambiance was perfect. Great location and much needed in the area. Can’t wait to go back!

AVOID AVOID AVOID, worst chicken wings going you are more likely to enjoy a Morley’s or any other cheap chicken shop for that matter. I got a takeaway and the bbq wings tasted like they been recooked about 3 times and once cooked just slapped on some cheap bbq sauce all over it. The other chicken wings I ordered was the so called grilled wings lemon and herb. Firstly it was anything but grilled again deep fried maybe on two ocassions. It’s was so bland and dry but oozing with oil. I rang the restaurant to complain but they couldn’t refund me or do anything about it and the person who answered the phone used the excuse the kitchen has been busy. So busy they serve poor quality food and advertise as grilled chicken when it’s fried!! Disgusting

Lovely food. We had the chicken wings to start followed by lamb chops - delicious! Pop into Tesco’s beforehand as they don’t sell alcohol, £2ph corkage.

Came on Xmas day, were open and the food was amazing the service was sublime. Very attentive. We had the sea bass and the steak and it was very well put together. The don’t serve alcohol which is a slight downside but we could’ve got our own and we will for next time! Otherwise will try deserts too. Very good prices and reasonable, they really do try and bring a little quality to dining 😊

Popped in for a couple of burgers. No problem getting a table. They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own. We had soft drinks, which weren't far short of the price of an alcoholic drink anyway. Pop next door to Tesco before you arrive. On the plus side its a nice place that appears to be trying. Its local and something a little different. On the down side, it simply doesn't live up to its reviews. Maybe our expectations were higher because of the glowing reviews but we didn't leave the place raving about the food. Quite the opposite really, disappointment. This is a shame as we expected more given the glowing reviews. The service charge is annoying, given the service was OK at best and the place is quite small, I don't think the charge reflects the service. We should have refused to pay it but didn't want to create a fuss. I probably wouldn't recommend it but would say go yourself and make up your own mind but remember to take your own drinks and be prepared for the service charge.

Had the meal at the Ranch and it was excellent! Taste, and presentation was on point. It was on Christmas day and they were one of the few restaurants open. The place was a very cosy.

Was a surreal experience, everything you could want from customer service from when you enter through the door, through to food and drinks. Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and well decorated. 10/10 would recommend!

As with any new establishment hiccups happen, and one happened to me. Before I started writing any torrid reviews and generally slating the place I contacted the owner which is very easily accessed via their Facebook page. Within 24 hours I had a response, an apology and a resolution so I decided to give the ranch another go for lunch today and what a turn around. Fantastic, polite and enthusiastic staff, managing very well for how busy it was at lunch especially with their student deal. Food was excellent, piping hot, and delish. The restraunt and staff were clean and tidy, and not too long to wait either. Overall a great experience and I'm looking forward to going back for an evening meal. Top marks!

I had a wonderfully lovely evening come to an end when coming to eat here. ‘Twas a rainy Thursday evening instead of staying in, we decided to go out for dinner. Me and Mrs that is, to catch up and well you know the rest. We headed in to Hornchurch town centre which has an amalgamation of places to eat. When all of a sudden, a light bulb 💡 moment occurred and I foolishly spoke aloud, “there is a new restaurant called ‘The Ranch’ shall we try it? To which the Mrs replied “why not” . So we have made our way ardently over to The Ranch. After a derisory attempt at finding parking. We braved the rain and as we come up to the front of the establishment. We are in awe of the red hue emanating of newly fitted signboard which says, “The Ranch”. We entered! Well I opened the door for the Mrs after navigating whether it be a push or a pull. In my ever so gallant and chivalrous manor. To which she stepped in and I followed. We were almost immediately greeted by Barman / Manager I believe. We were asked why we had arrived at this innocuous food establishment for a takeaway, table or booking? Me and the Mrs in synchronistic medium replied table please no booking. To which we were promoted to sit down, whilst they played with their computers to see which of their many empty tables they could sit us on. In the meantime whilst we are sitting for the short wait. I am instantly taken aback, from the spectacle that is the flower wall decorations and Cow hide and leather on seats. My brain started going on overdrive thinking 🤔 how many flowers are on that wall and whether it would make a good game trying to guess? Right, back on topic! We have been given good news. “It’s a Boy!” Not really, we have been told there is a table available for us. To which we were escorted to by a very nice young man. He prompted us to sit down and told us that he would bring over menu’s. We have started to get comfortable adjusting the seat and getting the distance right from the table so I’m not far from the gaze of my beautiful Mrs. She on the other hand did not have these time reliant decisions to make. As she chose to sit on the booth part of the table. (Fitted seats- incase you were wondering) The waiter then came stumbling over, delivering two Gigantic Menu’s with the smallest font I have ever seen. I felt like I needed to go to spec savers. Also with another two menus just for the drinks. ‘Just so we are on the same page One Giant and regular sized menu per person’ I hope it’s recycled paper they are using? We were told to have a look over by the waiter and that he would be back shortly to take our drinks order. Well this next chapter will have you frothing at the mouth, because my idea of shortly and the waiters seemed to be completely off. It wasn’t the most sophisticated menu which took time, manner and deliberation. I wanted still water and the Mrs a Lemonade. Well me and the Mrs talked, talked and talked and then we started, Looking aimlessly like a sheep left behind when being herded up in the valleys with no avail to answer. But 17.3 minutes later he remembers us. The young man comes over to take our order and also asks if we are ready to place food order also. To which we eagerly replied why ofcourse. So Mr Nice make you wait a longtime waiter, tried to take our order on his IPad. To which he was genuinely struggling, I felt quite bad for the young man as I could see he was embarrassed by this technology and his lack of training on the equipment . He shortly disappeared to the till mid order and then returned after recalibrating his order taking machine. So we started again, at this point he stated this new technology was only brought in today and he has had no prior training on how to make a steak with an IPad. I suggested pad and paper, as old is gold but I guess his monotone stand behind the screen manager was behind this. So my Mrs was overwhelmed with the choice on the Gigantic menu with tiny font. She decided to go for a Firecracker 🧨 Burger, with a side of fries. I could not decide and hastily ordered half a chicken. To which I was asked how I’d like it cooked. Not medium rare poultry. The sauce! There was a choice of plain, spicy, bbq and buffalo. But it’s not as simple as Nando’s spice-o-meter. I asked for help but got a sub par answer. As the waiter had not tried all the sauces. So not wanting a midnight bonfire In my back garden, I opted for plain sauce roasted rooster. Or in some denomination of what there menu describe a chicken as. Right so food is ordered, emergency averted. Hungry to Hangry quite soon to be nongry ;) We await the food, whilst this is happening me and the Mrs catch up. Also we are a big fan of people watching. So we started to do our best Terminator Scans of the room. With all the information popping up to the side. To when we see a lady complaining to the Bar/ stand behind the screen Manager. I could hear her moaning about bevvies. Then looking around at the staff, we can see there is a lack of communication, organisation and team-working. This is apparent from the body language and the flapping hands of waiters as they attempt to make flight from one end of the restaurant to the other. Then all the unhappy faces bar one couple on all the other tables. People tutting that things are not efficient. To be brutally honest this establishment has the feel and atmosphere of a cats kennel. Dreary ☹️ and the feeling of being violated. To which rang true when our food arrived! My half sweaty and drippy chicken, which arrived with dryslaw and dehydrated salad. The Mrs’ Firecracker Chicken Burger was all the disappointment my poor heart could take for one evening out hence the start of this reviewtory stating “a beautiful night coming to an end”. 😳 It was soggy, tasteless and just disappointing. I felt like the meals need a hind kick to be on the Menu of a restaurant named The Ranch! We almost ate half the food out of pure hunger. To which point I thought no, I’m going to make a stand. I’m not putting my eyes, my tastebuds or my morals to any more abuse at the hands of this food that had been served. So I left a quarter chicken almost intact with the other quarter broken in bits in the dryslaw pot. The dry slaw was sticky I hope no extra ingredients went in to it 😅 Then ‘I only work my own section waiter’ comes over and asks how the food is when he clearly sees a full messy plate and my napkin thrown shrewdly over it. I replied it’s not the best. To a fake smile, he outdid the Nando’s staff to not even listening. Just fake smiling, nodding and walking away. We then had our original waiter come back, as I guess our table was in his section. (‘The county lines in restaurants’ by Ross kemp sounds like a new cult series!) He cleared our table to our delight. I almost whooped I didn’t have to look at that food a moment longer. We did not want to hang out for long after this, so we asked for the bill which is awkwardly placed without any eye contact. Kindly provided with two mints not made in-house. To which Me and the Mrs was elated to get the taste out of our mouths. I review the bill to pure astounding astonishment! They have added service charge to the Bill. I’m not a cheap skate and I almost always leave 10-20% gratuity at all restaurants I visit. Depending on the service received. On this instance I felt like I should have been paid as a guinea pig to Test the awful concoctions. Not pay more inadequate service. Overall not a happy customer, I didn’t complain as I did not feel they could have offered me anything. I did not come out looking for a free meal and would not have accepted a discount or future promises of money of. As I will never return to this establishment nor will I recommend it. Think carefully before you step in to the Ranch and part with that hard earned Moo-la get it Moo! Anyways I am not trying to blaspheme the company, I’m sure they just need better managers, training and chefs. Good luck Yall!

Very overpriced. Starters and mains with no drinks came to £80 for 2 people! We have been before and did think the first time it was very overpriced but we enjoyed the starters so came back...unfortunately they had changed the food! The calamari used to be so good but this time it was a completely different product and the portion size was a joke...literally 4 tiny extremely thin pieces, I cant imagine anyone would be happy with that portion size...even children. I can only imagine the manager/owner is trying to cut costs. The mac and cheese had also changed which we loved last time! This time we ordered 2 portions of it and honestly didnt even eat it because it was so tasteless. My corn on the cob turned up still FROZEN, as though they had actually forgotten to cook it. So they took it back and didnt charge me for it. My boyfriend had a steak which was £25, not including sides... and it was nothing special. But that's the price you would pay in Goodmans or STK in london for a really good steak. And his chips didnt turn up, and the vegetables were completely cold. It's a shame but we wont be coming back and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone...unless they made their prices more realistic and improved the food alot.

All the meat is Halal, if I'd had known that I wouldn't have entered. That obviously means no pork on the menu, so no opportunity for pulled pork, something I'd expect from this kind of restaurant. They'd ran out of chicken ranchos, but not out...

Went to the ranch today for a meal with my mrs, found out they just joined tastecard so got a free mains - food was amazing, even without the free mains would have happily paid full price!

Came by after a friend recommendation and tbh the service was great, food was impecable and above all the overall experience was great. Really enjoyed it could not have asked for it any better.
