1st time coming in here, staff very friendly and polite. Disabled friendly place as well. Great mix of old-school music. However, music volume went up, and people volume went up as well so they could speak. Big thanks to Hicham, who looked after me through. Will definitely be coming back and maybe try some food next time.

Went tonight didn’t book a table and the lovely lady on the front desk Alexandra found us a seat and was so helpful and kind. We will definitely be coming back all staff are very welcoming. Didn’t eat in here but the food looked amazing.

Myself and a few friends went in this evening for food. Waited over 40 min for a drink, 2 of the 3 mains was absolutely awful. Had to wait ages to ask for the bill. Music was so loud you had to shout. Staff were friendly though. Ladies loo had no toilet roll in any of the cubicles.

Great food and service. Highly recommend. The burger is amazing and so are the duck bon bons. Waiters always check on you during the meal and are very attentive. Looks awesome too. Been a few times and can't wait to go again.

The Sunday roast here, hands down one of the best I've had in a long time. Service and staff here were extremely friendly. Live music in the background was a nice touch. Strongly recommend. Roast potatoes are amazing by the way.

Food is a 10/10 with a large variety fit for anyones taste palette, staff is very attentive and the drinks are to die for, definitely recommend trying the bang bang, and overall the atmosphere is very welcoming and good vibes all round.

We had the brunch and were disappointed. The bacon was streaky and fatty. The baked beans were watery and unappetising. Tomatoes were undercooked. Hash browns and eggs were nice. Sausage okay. I could not understand the need for a slice of pineapple a slice of grapefruit a slice of orange a limp lettuce leaf and pea tendrils. A small parsley leaf would have looked much nicer.

Sooo my friend and I literally didn’t plan to come here at first and we just walked in by luck. The food was absolutely lovely and the staff were just wonderful especially Sherif and Dora, they were so jovial. We went there for brunch and ended up going back for dinner as well!! Yess it was that good 😌 you should definitely try it out!!!

We just dropped in for a tea and coffee but we ended up having omelette and chips.The omelette came with salad,orange slice and grapefruit a great touch. Service was superb and above all its very reasonable , big glass of mint tea with lemon £3.00, main meals £7 to £12. Its a great place and we will be back very soon, superb

I had an amazing experience at The ivy tree in Romford. I got introduced by my friend in the week and came in for cocktails. I was impressed that I came back again. I had some cocktails and a meal and the atmosphere was amazing. They had a singer and magician who were both fantastic. It is somewhere where we will definitely be coming again and would recommend. I recently visited Ivy tree and I must say the experience was exceptional, largely thanks to the incredible waiter, Egor . From the moment I sat down, he made me feel welcome with his warm, engaging personality. He’s clearly a master of his craft.

Well we walked in there randomly as we were both starving after the morning spinning class. The breakfast we ordered exceeded our expectations in terms of price , value for money and the portion size !!! It was all very tasty , the temperature was perfect and the coffee was delicious. The presentation was 10 out of 10 and the fruit was a lovely touch. Would love to see the slightly smaller sizes available as I felt bad that I couldn’t finish mine . We will definitely be back there soon !!!

Leaving on behalf of my partner. Went for food tonight after 20.00 got a drink and finished before the waitress approached him. She was on the phone took his menu walked off without taking his order. He waited another 10 mins paid for his drink and left. We just litrally laughed about how ridiculous this was.... unfortunately he had to get a McDonald's 😢

A beautiful place to eat. Lavish feel but with fair prices. We have eaten here twice now and both times the food has been delicious. The same waitress, Dora, has served us both times and she has been lovely! She is so friendly and helpful with our baby, getting her a high chair and strapping her in for us. We also witnessed her pushing another child in a pram to help a couple settle their child so they could eat. Our second experience they had an incredible magician who preformed tricks I have never seen before. It elevated the whole thing. The decor is beautiful and the music is a good volume so you can still hold a good conversations and they had a singer on our second visit who has a wonserful voice. Extremely pleased and will definately be coming back again and again!

Khia was a lovely hostess for the evening very polite and very helpful. Would highly recommend coming here for great food and drinks. The seafood starter coated with pancro breadcrumbs with oyster sauce was so delightful and well presented. The beef papadellie pasta was so good it was really tasty and well presented. My friend had the lamb which was really presented well. The apple pie and custard was lovely even with the cotton candy on top. All in all a fabulous night was had there for my birthday yesterday and the cocktails was delightful. Keep up the good work everyone. Kind regards Ashley Bourne

Been here twice and it doesn’t disappoint! The waiters are very attentive. Came here last night (23/10/24) with a large group of friends and the food was delicious and different from the usual food you find in Romford. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻

Came for a meal and drinks on a Friday evening. Food was excellent waited over an hour but it was worth the wait the drinks were good. Now this part is why I didn’t give 5 stars, every round of drinks came to a different amount. We were charged a service charge that we were happy to pay however we had to ask for our change back and when we checked the staff at the bar were adding money on the card payments. If you decide to go here for a night out check your change. We are not the first people to complain about being over charged it’s all over Facebook. If you want to charge more for drinks then up the prices don’t try and con people it will give you a bad reputation and people will not return!

A Lovely place to eat. Came for a lunchtime birthday celebration for my mum's 70th. The decor is beautiful, service excellent, and the manager Sherif was very attentive to our needs. Food was delicious and carried a good variation. Not expensive as the decoration would make you think (looks so posh inside!) Will 100% visit again.

I've been in here a few times now. Food wise - first time I had the salmon, it was a chunky bit of salmon, and really tasty. Second time I had a burger and chips, also good for money (yes you can get cheaper than £15 for a burger and chips, but the venue is LOVELY) I've also been in there for a few alcoholic drinks, the cocktails I have had have always been made really well.

The food is great in here drinks and the amazing service Khia the waitress and the Manager Omar were superb. The Thursday live singer is amazing, too. We will come again to the best place in Romford.

Great food and great entertainment

I’ve been looking forward to trying cocktails at the Ivy tree for awhile now, and was so glad that I did! The food was so delicious and the service was really great, too!

Came to visit Ivy Tree last night, and from the decor to the food to the cocktails - it really was a great experience start to finish. Egor in particular really went above and beyond for us. Unfortunately, it seems they still have a lot of old reviews here from the Spoons days! Atmosphere: the decor is actually iconic! For so much going on, it never felt like too much!! It’s still very new, but the menus looked tired, and there were a couple of errors - but when asked, Egor was really helpful in explaining new menus were being printed. Otherwise, music and conversations were at a good level, there was banter and it felt like a smooth running operation all around. Service: Egor was really helpful and a delightful waiter who really looked after us, making sure that my partner and I always had drinks, and offered suggestions. Even when querying the menu, nothing felt like it was too much. He also really loved the dry ice!! 😁 Food: At first, I was a little skeptical, but it’s fair to say that those fears were completely dismissed!! We had the Octopus and Wagyu Beef Sliders to start - both of which were generous and delicious (especially the sliders!). For main, we both had the lamp shoulder which was super tender, generously sized, and worth every penny! 😍 Then for dessert, the signature Ivy Tree, the chocolate/brownie was delicious but it could have used a sauce and unfortunately they had run out of candyfloss - so the tree looked autumn ready 🍂 Cocktails: it was a really impressive selection of cocktails, and the partnership with Au Vodka is a match made in heaven for this place (branding genius!!) We had a fair share of the menu from classics to signatures. the Twisted Negroni was my favourite, and the Twisted Paloma for my partner. But all of the ones we tried were phenomenal, and refreshingly different to the usuals. Whilst they did take a bit of time to make, this was 100% down to the restaurant being new, and we were ordering new/different cocktails everytime. Egor definitely seemed to be aware of this though, and did his best to take our order before we’d finished the previous. One note: there was another waitress who brought us the bill as Egor seemed busy, but, it was quite uncomfortable when she commented “seems you guys had an expensive night” before handing us the bill. I think it was meant to be a joke but it really didn’t land.

I recently had dinner at this incredible restaurant, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely amazing! I started with the oysters, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the Bon Bon Duck—it came with three different sauces that perfectly complemented the dish. The seafood platter I had as a main was also fantastic—so fresh and flavorful! The combination of lobster and avocado was a standout and tasted divine. To top it all off, the dessert was heavenly, and the cocktails were just as impressive. Overall, an unforgettable dining experience! I can't wait to come back.🤩⭐️🌟💫

The latest addition to Romford's high street, this is an up-market place with good food and excellent service. The sound system is quality, however the music can be a little loud for conversations over dinner.

Popped in earlier today for a cocktail and beer. They said they would make the negroni twister and bring out drinks to out table outside as needed time as busy. After 10 mins later the lovely waitress outside said she would go and chase our order. The cocktail then came out without the beer?? Not one to moan but a little chaotic when busy but cant knock the place for a nice ambience. Time will tell x

We had a great time at the Saturday brunch. Definitely one of the best brunches I’ve been to for quality of food, steak was melt in your mouth delicious. Drinks were also kept topped up.
