Tops Pizza in Harrow

I called the store to order a spicy Mexican pizza with the hungry man meal deal for £20.49 at around 9:40pm, it got delivered about 10:40pm…. I ate 4 slices of the pizza and then did not want anymore… at around midnight i was violently ill projectile vomiting. I suspected the pizza as I had only had a protein shake and cereal during the day, I have these every single day with no issues at all so the issue was the pizza. I called the shop the next day after work at around 4pm to report the issue and was spoken to by a rather dismissive and rude member of staff/manager that told me i should’ve reported it straight away and there was nothing that he could do. I told him being violently ill the last thing on my mind was to call the restaurant straight away after midnight. To resolve the issue he said that if i place another order with a minimum spend of £15 he will include a free pizza. I told him this will not resolve my complaint and that I do not wish to spend any more money with the establishment due to having a pizza that gave me food poisoning. After getting nowhere with the manager/owner I called the head office, they were also rather dismissive saying they have over 70 stores and deliver products fresh each day…. She also said that the restaurant is not owned by them and there was nothing they could do. Checking other reviews I can see this is not the first case of food poisoning for t he restaurant. She contacted the owner of the store that said they would give me a free chocolate cake (£3.49) and that I would need to go and collect it. I would avoid this place at all costs….. website does not pick up all addresses, abysmal customer service and very bad quality food. I would give 0 stars if I could. Spend your money elsewhere.

I’ve ordered from this shop twice, and both times the service was disappointing. The first time, I was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes, but when I arrived at the shop, it wasn’t ready. They asked me to wait another 15 minutes, which I agreed to, but it was frustrating to have to wait. I decided to give them another chance on a different day, and the same thing happened again. While the food quality is decent, the poor service ruins the experience. Waiting for so long and then ending up with cold food just makes you not want to order again.

I recently ordered a couple of pizzas from your establishment, and I wanted to commend the excellent service I received. The person who attended my call was courteous and efficient, and the overall customer service was outstanding. The pizzas themselves were delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Thank you for providing such a wonderful dining experience!.

Great value pizza, especially if you collect. There are literally a dozen pizza outlets within walking distance of Tops but this is our family's favourite. The dough is soft and tasty, marinara sauce perfectly sweet and tangy and toppings generous and cheese just right and not overloaded to drown out the other flavours. The waiting area could do with some music and is sometimes a bit draughty but it's still 5 stars overall!

Love tops pizza and the guys are lovely. Went into the shop with my goddaughter she had bq base pepperoni my was a normal bass veggie with pepperoni as always greats deal and great pizza. Be back again soon 😊

I really recommend this place if you’re looking for affordable and tasty pizza. This is easily one of the best, if not the best pizza in Edgware.

The potatoes were too burn and the meat pizza with those meat balls was too burned and taste funny! I didn’t even eat it!

They have lost a customer unfortunately. We suffered food poisoning from their pizza. I wouldn't eat there any more.

The best pizza i have ever had …i have tried many pizza places but this is definitely the best i have had till date…the pizza was perfectly saucy and perfectly cooked ..the cheese was golden and the chrust was crispy …looking forward to order more…thankyou❤️

Poor customer service! Called them and complained that they have given me a completely different pizza and they blamed me for ordering the wrong pizza! One regular customer lost!

Would’ve given 4 stars if there was a seating section. Their pizzas can be inconsistent at times. The staff need a bit more training and organisation

They cancelled my order and notified me by email rather than calling me Another experience ,when I ordered from them , they gave me the wrong pizza with wrong toppings …….when I called them , they apologised and said we are now closing I emailed them to rectify or give me a solution and they still have emailed me back Disrespectful company Don't think I'll be ordering from tops pizza again Never had such an experience ever

Pizza recieved burnt, hardly any cheese. They used to be great but recently have been appalling. Would not order again

Not only the order was late, the delivery driver was extremely rude and almost threw the box at my husband and went away.

The pizza was very dry even the dough was expired and the pizza was very hard to chew it was same like the pizza box 📦 very disappointing!!!! Waste of money stay hungry rather than order from here totally waste of money and time !

This pizza shop does not deserve even one star , i called to order for family up to 5 large pizzas , the guy on the phone hold me for 5 minuets instead me to complaine the guy sudenly tells me to be quick i dont have time . I said its you hold me for 5 minuts and he cut the call on me. what a rude staff You lost 10 plus customers of course there are better pizzas than yours

Great pizzas on time, whole order was good thank you. Suggest look at your drinks listings on just eat: we ordered 1.5 litre Fanta but only received 1.25l (misrepresentation). Also you list 1.25l Fanta at a higher price than the 1.5l?

Can’t relate to the lower scores I’m seeing! Tops Pizza is genuinely top-tier. The dough? Fresh. Toppings? Generously layered. Cheese? Just right. They’re also on point with any special requests. I’ve found calling them directly more cost-effective than using delivery apps, and the pizza consistently arrives in 30-40 minutes, steaming hot. A must-try for sure!

Closed at 12.30 and closed early again today they should state that in thier opening times rather than give customers attitude that they leave the shop at 1am and that they don't care about opening times as thier boss only pays them until 1am.

Horrible customer service, they made a mistake in their order and delivered beef instead of Mexican chicken. Since I don’t eat beef and it was my first order with them, I could not recognise the difference and ended up having a slice. Upon enquiry, the manager/owner was extremely rude & instead of apologising for the error, he shamed me for having a slice and for being unable to recognise the difference and asked me to have the remaining! This is despite letting him know that I don’t eat beef. Very disrespectful and spiteful, I have never experienced such terrible customer service here. what a shame as I love pizzas but this has been the worst experience ever. Avoid at all cost

The hospitality and generosity of the staff was amazing, the food was made fresh and was of high quality I had a medium pepperoni and one of the cheesy garlic breads oh my god I was in food heaven!! I would highly recommend this pizza join the prices are fabulous 👌

Used to be decent but now it's just rediculously expensive trying to act like they dominoes or something. Price is letting them down badly.

Nice guy who called, told me why my order was declined, three times, because the minimum delivery charge is apparently £30.... Thing is, last two times I've ordered, minimum charge was £20. The site/ venue needs to update customers on changes to any charges, otherwise it looks like there's a glitch when paying. Sadly I am not sure I can order from here again in future, tooooooooo expensive.

I did not get anything but they said delivered! I called the restaurant, its manager said I called justeat to cancel it but they have charged me for food when i checked my bank statement! There is no contact number or email address to contact justeat!

Worst pizza I've ever had. Chip were simultaneously too crispy and also undercooked, toppings were missing and the sauce was definitely not barbecue. Just go dominos

Manager is very rude and speak some bad world .he not expect his mistakes.they not follow allergy guidelines.every time they add mashroom and pizza is not hot.I don’t like this type of mistake every time.

the manager of the store is don’t know how to talk with customers. very late delivery and the pizza is like making before 1 hours ago. i never suggested to any one to go there they are behaving very rudely. and it’s take more than 1 hours for delivery. i have very bad experience of this store.

Exceptional BBQ chicken wings, haven't had well cooked/flavourful meat like that at much more expensive places. The pizza is pretty good too. Going to be eating from here a lot now.

I ordered pizza and wrote on notes no mushrooms. This was ignored and there was mushrooms in pizza. My daughter could not eat it

So unhappy we usually order pizza from this place twice a week and we have ordered again tonight I received small sizes pizza that I didn't order that size because I had visitors in and I called the takeaway to discuss about what I ordered the guy I was speaking to said he's name is ali but I think he was lying about that he's customer service was rubbish and so disrespect and rud shouting and screaming on the phone I asked for the bosses number he just didn't care about what I was saying we will never ever make an order in this place again

Lovely Pizza, crispy base, generous with their toppings. Not a big fan of their garlic bread. Service and online experience was good.

California Pizza was okay , the sundries tomato’s were burnt and the garlic bread smelt funny .

Loved the food, first delivery for a while only problem was ordered ribs(1st time) top layer was outstanding next layer were cold so leaving to redo tomorrow for lunch. Pizza & potato skins were great though.

Driver arrived late no notification from the restaurant and driver banging on the door there are 3 bells to press before my door in the flat. Food is cold.

They took 1 hour and 20 minutes to deliver and i found a worm on my pizza it was disgusting!!! Luckily i saw it instantly i threw the pizza away Trading standards need to go and have a look at this place 😡😡

We ordered pizza today and there came cold and took over a hour to come to us. Not happy with the service, we always order from them but now I think we would have to change to another pizza place .

It literally took an hour to deliver two pizzas to an address 5-10 mins away by car. The medium pizza’s are tiny and were not cooked well. They don’t even provide any dip. Not worth the money at all, go with dominoes instead as the price is basically the same anyway

I've ordered pizza at 23:58. They said delivery time between 20-35 minutes. Received pizza at 00:16. Very disappointed 😞

Wrong in every way, the restaurant marked it as delivered when the driver hadn’t even left and then when the driver came 50 mins late the order was wrong. Called the restaurant and they were rude and non courteous. Terrible!
