Wing Hing House in Gloucester

Terrible service, we ordered on just eat from this restaurant new years eve, we expected it to be busy but 2 hours in and we decided to call for an update. Collectively we called around 25 times the line was busy majority of the time but the 4 times it did ring the phone was never answered. We were given an updated time from just eat 2 and a half hours after we placed the order. The food still did not arrive after another 20 minutes of waiting we ordered from elsewhere and requested a refund as this place was not answering the calls. £70 worth of food and they refused the refund because "the restaurant was busier than usual". If a takeaway can't handle the capacity turn off deliveries. The food eventually turned up 3 hours after ordering. We sent the food back as we already had food from another place and they still refused to refund. Clearly in breach of consumer rights act.

Usually go more locally to us but tried Wing Hing for first time a few months ago and is now the go to for our Chinese takeaway! Delicious food, arrives Hot and good portions gor price. Huge menu with so much to choose from! Amazing

Got my order drastically wrong and somehow it was my fault for not making it clear, which I did Then when I asked for refund or exchange they expected me to pay for the delivery or do it myself. And then she Abruptly hung up on me Customer service was awful and did not care Don't waste your money go to Emperor

when my wife and me moved house i was annoyed to leave this delightful restaurant as the wait time for your food is little to nothing and the food is so worth it even for its reasonable and affordable price as it's a wondrous place to eat at - i shall miss the delicious food 🍲

ordered from this place multiple times and they have not failed me once!! Their food is greasy but that is just chinese food in general and i do not mind at all because the food is absolutely delicious and delightful!!

We have been ordering from this Chinese for years and have always had a lovely meal. This evening after spending over £40, the food was awful. Soggy, tasteless and so greasy. The satay chicken was undercooked (literal pink inside!) and could only stomach a few mouthfuls. A shame we definitely won’t be ordering again!

I never received my order! They had delivered to wrong address! Should’ve contacted me! And they are meant to ask for codes! I have waited an hour and a half for my order not to arrive! I am fuming! I would like a full refund!

food was marked as delivered before it actually arrived, half an hour later. by that time it was colds f sweaty from the plastic bag. food ruined.

Best Chinese in Gloucester, chips are the only item which need improvement otherwise superb food

unfortunately the food was too greasy and bland, the salt and pepper chicken has no spicy to it. This was not worth the money!

Chicken was very tough, not there usual standard.

My normal Chinese wasn’t open, so I gave this one a try and I’ll definitely be returning. It’s the cheapest Chinese I’ve seen for ages and the food was spot on. The food was also delivered earlier than stated which is always a win! The only bad thing was the prawn crackers were a little on the stale side, but everything else was fantastic, the smoked chicken especially!

They were 1 hour late delivering our food, no rush at all and when we phoned they have no idea where our food was.

The food quality was poor I couldn’t make myself eat any of it! I’m not sure when the oil that everything is friend in was last changed! The quality of the chicken meat was so poor it looked white and it’s texture was rubbery! What a waste of money! The crispy beef tasted like wet dog.

Driver couldn’t find my address. Part of address was not on the ticket that he was given, despite my mobile receipt having my full address on it .

Order should have arrived between 7-7.20, it didn’t, they adjusted the time to 7.45pm but it didn’t arrived until gone 8pm. Restaurant didn’t answer the phone and I called multiple times.

Nowhere near as good as the times I've ordered from you before. The food was nearly cold, very little taste and the meat was chewy.

Ordered 17.40pm food arrived 19.51pm. Cold and like card! Prawn crackers tasted stale. This was the worst ive had and not enjoyable or even worth eating. Disappointed as was a treat for the family and won't want to be ordering again from there.

Super efficient delivery. Food arrived hot and was delivered by a friendly driver. Food was well prepared, packed and delicious.

Ordered a take away from here tonight. Cost over £80 and was some of the worst food I have ever seen from a take away. Also the duck and pineapple smelt like it was cooked from a decomposing rotten bit of meat. I was physically sick at just the smell of it. I did call to complain and all they said to me was put a complaint through just eat!!!! Never order from here.

Not too impressed tbh. things tasted sort of burnt or totally bland. they gave me the wrong sauce. the chicken with cashew nuts was nice, though.

The food tasted a low quality. The chicken in my rice tasted bland and processed and the ribs turned to pulp when trying to chew it. The rice also tasted over cooked. All around I couldn't finish the meal and I won't be ordering from here again.

I had a £3 tip for the delivery driver on the side but he was in such a rush and didn’t even smile so I didn’t give it to him. Food was great, thanks!

Quick delivery, arrived about 20 minutes early. Sweet and sour sauce was like syrup but everything else was nice. Free spring rolls thrown in was a nice touch.

Overall the experience was excellent and most of the food was very tasty, the only thing that let it down for us was the bbq sauce as it tasted salty and I myself couldn’t eat it

VERY greasy salt and pepper chips and chicken. Everything was soggy. Curry sauce had layer of grease on top. Worst salt and pepper in Gloucester I've tried.

The food was disgusting. It was way too spicy and nothing was said on the menu they it was spicy. Couldn’t eat it as the rice was also uncooked
