Visiting the area for a fews days and decided to order a Chinese. Food was lovely and fresh. Tasted amazing. Wish it was local to where I live!

We've had a takeaway 2 nights running and both times excellent. Highly recommend. Spring Rolls fantastic and the best pork and mushrooms we've ever had, chicken chow mein gorgeous. 100%

Just tried this chinese place a couple of times. Its reasonably priced. The food is made as per your liking. I tried hot singapore noodles (dry) , salt pepper chicken and chicken schechuan and mixed fried vegetables. Cant complain. Everything was prepared well and the collection was within 10 mins. Definitely ordering my chinese from here often now.

Don’t be put off by the dated decor and slightly shabby appearance. The food is superb, Barbecue spare ribs excellent and tender. I think this takeaway has become my number one. Well done Wongs keep up the great work. Cash only my a cash point 20meters away next to the Coop.

Service was polite and courteous, price was reasonable. Rice was greasy, tasted of old cooking oil and not nice. Chicken pieces were overcooked, hard and chewy. Sweet and sour sauce may have been nice, we're there enough to taste! Not the best I have had, and won't be going there again!

Ordered house special fried rice....received house special chow mean....,only thing I ordered...oh dear!

THE best Chinese food in the business. We used to eat at others but we would never go elsewhere now. They are quick and the price is great. We’ve never been let down by them and their food it really is the tastiest food I’ve ever had and their Salt & Pepper chips are the best in the world. They’ve been closed for Chinese new year and we have missed them dearly. Will be eating there tonight. THE BESTTTTTTTTT. The only thing that’s missing is card payment, but f the tax man and all that

I have eaten Chineese from all over Gloucestershire only 2 good ones is Hings and Wongs only thing with hings phone is always engaged I can’t believe those other reviews for Wongs never had a bad one

Absolutely disgusting food. I returned the food after briefly tasting to be told I wotnot get a refund. I have now opened a case to get my money back with Trading Standards and CAB. Do not buy from here the food was burnt and tasteless, absolutely horrible people to deal with. No manners or customer service!

Chewy beef, dry chicken and all far too salty. I've tried wongs a few times and even recommended them to a friend, time to find a new Chinese restaurant that delivers. What a shame

Very disappointed tonight. Our delivery arrived initially within time but had items missing. On phoning the shop, there was no apology and they wanted to charge us the delivery charge again despite the error being theirs. Then they quoted half an hour for the additional items and they took nearly an hour. By this time, obviously everything else was cold and needed reheating. Human error is forgiveable but charging us more, adding the delivery and then taking nearly twice as long as they said it's utterly disgusting. Needless to say we won't be using again.

First time trying here and got to say it won’t be the last the only thing I found that I wasn’t really impressed was the bbq sauce we got I don’t think it was as had no taste of bbq it was more like sweet and sour but was still nice we got a large tub and it was enough for 2 people will definitely be going back

very enjoyable dinner, counter service was exceptional and when my food came it was one of the best takeaway i’ve had in a while, very strong flavours and would 100 percent recommend the special fried rice and the singapore vermicelli. very traditional reminds me of my trip to china last year

One of my favourite take-outs in town. Again, no card facilities, but there is a cash point just across the road. Food is tasty and not too salty/greasy, which is rare.

We had a delivery tonight and the food was very nice , tasty and fresh. The delivery guy was also friendly and delivered the food still hot.

We live opposite Wongs and it’s our favourite Chinese, lovely food. The roast pork curry is amazing. Can’t fault it, even when we move we will be travelling to Wongs as it’s the best in gloucester

Just arrived in town for five days, after long day and drive, ordered from this chinese for delivery to the hotel..gotta say, wish my local chinese was as good as this one. Large portions and one of the best takeaways I've ever had, just wish i could save the leftovers but, being in a hotel, im affraid thats not an option. Great service and fantastic food. Very impressed.

Moved to Gloucester 6 weeks ago, this is the best Chinese takeaway after 4 or 5 different meals from.others.

4 of us had a combination of different dishes each cooked to perfection and delicious. Huge portions of the most gorgeous authentic food. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Chinese, we ordered for 4 people. All the food tasted amazing, it arrived on time and was piping hot. Will defo use this place again.

We ordered a veggie chow mein this evening for myself and husband ordered duck dish plus veggie/ meat spring rolls. The spring rolls and duck dish both good. The veggie chow mein was swimming in grease/ soggy, even after wiping with kitchen roll, not nice at all. Ordered as reviews looked good but not sure if we would try again.

Excellent, we have only lived in Gloucester for a couple of months now and are still trying to find our "favourite" takeaways, we have tried a few other chinnese takeaways before trying Wong's kitchen. But the service and quality of the food was amazing. I'll be ordering again soon and if they keep the great work up I'll be turning the 4 stars into a 5.

I started using this Chinese about 6 months ago when the one I used to use made me ill. The food is delicious, always on time, staff are very friendly and will go above and beyond for you (I ordered salt and pepper chips one day and they ran out of chips and the lady wanted to go out and go and get chips for me) ive never had a fault with this restaurant. Highly recommend!!!

Another fantastic meal. Food is so tasty it's delicious. Portions are really good with plenty of meat in them not packed out with loads of veg. The ribs are big and meaty. Staff are so friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Quiet good Chinese takeaway.. delivery available as well. No problem for parking & they hv adapted well for the current covid crisis.. My verdict - Should try it atleast once, if u live close by.

We've been to Wong's kitchen many times and have always been very pleased with the food and service. Ribs, duck and spring rolls are a must! Generous portions mean we are all able to share the dishes round. Can't wait to go again soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great authentic Chinese.

Looking for a new Chinese takeaway and we weren't disappointed. Haven't been here for a couple of years and it's changed name and ownership. Had a few starters and rice dish, special chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, ribs and a few other things. Portion sizes were very good. It was delicious and will definitely be using it again very soon. Think it will be our regular. Service was excellent and the girl behind the counter was very polite and helpful.

Have had the best experience with wongs kitchen! We ordered a delivery and the road was closed near to our house so he had to divert and try another way. To then find out the poor guy couldnt so then parked his car and walked to deliver to us!! Always will go back. They went over and beyond! X

This is the third time I’ve been back and each time the flavour and look is the same. Really nice food and reasonable pricing. Will be my number one Chinese now.

We have been away for a while and just noticed it change the management and chef since couple of month ago so decided to give a go and it surprised me a bit cus the food actually a lot better than what they used to be more tasty and fresh will definitely come and be regular
