What a great little cafe,great friendly staff. Amazing cakes ! We visited twice and had coffee/tea with croissants,they were extremely tasty.

Had brilliant birthday meal at Smoke & Ice Retford. Delicious food great atmosphere staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly if they tried. All the staff were great at helping my mum who is a wheelchair user and took time explain menu and sauces ect. Thanks again for the happy birthday song all 10 of us really enjoyed it and would definitely be back. 🥳🥳🥳🥳

The best place for brunch. Lovely people who work there and they make such great coffee. 100% recommend this place for great food and a peaceful setting.

Warm welcome as we arrived. Had the lobster, salad and side of frys. It was well presented and absolutely delicious. Great selection of seafood with thick slices of good quality bread and butter. Finished the meal with a lovely chocolate brownie and ice cream. Lovely evening.

Does what it says on the tin with service and good food

First visit with a group of 22 on a week day evening. Firstly the welcome was very warm and the staff very helpful. I’m gluten free and had no problem ordering with lots of choices. Can particularly recommend the onion bahjis which were delicious and very fresh. The service was very organised for such a large group and all the meals came out at the same time. Top up drinks orders were also checked regularly. I can recommend this independently run family business. Will definitely be returning

Amazing atmosphere, attentive bar staff, good company!

Well where do l start been in for lunch today , been in many times but not for 2 years always had quich and side salad today £9.50 added jacket potatoes took ages in coming when arrived was gobsmacked; use to be individual. Quich this was a small slice and l mean small 2 fork full the quich was burnt on top , dry and l mean a funny taste looked like scrammed egg in side couldn’t find the the bacon and mushrooms child like portion for £12.00 befour even tasting commented to sever but no reply won’t be going again

Olivia & Gabby are worth the 'entrance money' alone, they will welcome each and everyone one of you like long lost relatives with a friendly word and a smile. A great way to start the day. Had 2 gorgeous coffees and an omelette, then was treated to a piece of Adam's homemade Biscotti, still warm from the oven and delicious 😋

This is one of our favourite places to eat, whether its breakfast or dinner, the food is served fresh and hot. The owner is a lovely bloke, and nothing is too much trouble for him. How anyone could leave a bad review is beyond me. We are off there today for our dinner, we mostly go for breakfast every other week but having a change today. We live 16 miles away so not local.
