The best restaurants in Bassetlaw East Midlands

The staff are amazing and the food is what you would epect. However nothing changes so i could not go for a year but when i next go back i know what is good and what is not. It doesnt go down over time as most places. I have been going for over 10 years and would love to take me children there one day.

I had not finished my last review, we had to wait to long, there was only us and another couple in who came after us and were series before , the food was very basic and not much of it.

Me ordered food online and it never arrived although saying delivered and of course they close by the time it’s “delivered”

What a find! Lovely atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful. Food amazing. Highly recommend dining here. I had slow cooked bladevof beef, it was delicious, beef just melted in your mouth. Husband had tuna steak off of specials board, that was delicious as well. They serve local and fresh food. The food is reasonably priced. We dined on a Sunday, there was also roast dinner along with a good select of other dishes

Didn't eat this time have before and was good went for the fireworks was great friendly and a great show

One of the best kebab shops in Retford, have been coming here for 10+ years and it never fails to impress me and my tastebuds. Service is good and direct, it’s a busy shop and they are very humorous people if given the time to get to know them.

they make you wait hrs for food collection plus the food is disgusting

Me and my boyfriend love it here. The service is always 10/10 and the food exactly the same. Coming from hospitality ourselves and having an understanding of the job, it’s always extremely appreciated when you recieve such incredible service during this time of year. We will continue to come here for our date nights. Also, had an issue with a gift card I bought and it was sorted swiftly. Kerry who served us today and the boys behind the bar are such a credit. :)

Very nice staff. Do not order the pudding as its poor, but main meal was ok.

Had loads of takeaways over the past few years. Always on time, foods good. Wife is gluten free and they always accommodate.

Walked from the Caravan and Camping site, couldn’t do enough for us. Did are welcome. Really enjoyed our visit and a nice walk from the caravan site.

Dreadful experience. For a 24 hour service to be greeted by an employee, Karina, laying on a sofa with her feet up and on her phone took me by surprise. To then be grunted at that she was on her break led me to abandon any notion of getting service here.

Last night ordered meals with a side order of a small popcorn chicken £1.99 could,nt believe my eyes 6 pieces total rip off ,please explain yourselves.I would like half my money back at least ,please reply. Thanks
