The best restaurants in Daventry East Midlands

Good range of food available, staff are friendly and the place has a nice vibe. Service is prompt and there is a good range of beers available. Have eaten here a few times and they can comfortably deal with large group bookings.

Watch where you stand there is dog piss everywhere. Utterly disgusting, all over the products.

Disgusting behaviour and service, driver would not leave the car to deliver to door, even spoke to manager at daventry branch and said its terrible behaviour and he didn't care, will never order from here again

Ordered 2 curries, the curries were basically pieces of half cooked chicken tikka thrown in to curry sauce, asked for chillis to be added and whole raw green chillis were thrown in to the mix, you could tell that this wasn’t cooked as a curry is meant to be, all ingredients are pre cooked separately and mixed around. Daventry does need a good curry place unfortunately Afeem is not it and improvment is need with cooking and quality of meat. Chicken needs to be well cooked in a wok instead of prepared tikka pieces which Afeem is passing off as chicken curry.

Ordered a delivery tonight. Waited over an hr for driver to turn up. Driver called me, said he was outside my door and knocked, but I've not answered. Thought it was strange, as my front door is not far from my living room So I went ro the door, opened it, looked, but nobody insight. So I asked again, where are you, sat outside your door, the driver replied. I doubt that I said, as I'm stood outside my door, are you in a car, I asked, yes he replied. Can you see my porch light come on? Yes he said, and drove down the road from about 40yards away. How can you be outside my door, but 40yards away I asked? He was, he said. Proceeded to call me a liar which angered me, took the food, and told him to get off my property. Called the restaurant and told them. I have now had the food collected, as I don't want to eat it, as the driver called me a liar, what's he done to my food!!!! I now have to wait, another 60-90min for an order 8 have placed else where. As will never order from them again!!!!! Use them at your own peril!!!! I really hope you have proof that I was/am intoxicated. As I have taken a screen shot of your reply stating I need to be sober. So please provide evidence that I am intoxicated, 8f not I suggest you you take that comment down or I shall be taking you to court for malicious slander and defamation of character. Choice is yours!!!

Asked for a triple cheese burger PLAIN. YET ONIONS ON ALL THE BURGERS. In the cheese so not able to eat. Chips were alright.

For the last couple years, the chef had changed, and the quality took a bit of a dive...but recently, the original chef came back, and it is once again the best chinese in Daventry. Glad to have you back finally!

Stayed on a bed and breakfast deal with use of Spa. Spa was wonderful with a warm pool with jets and heated loungers to relax on admiring the landscape view. Shame they have new carpet at the entrance that was wet to walk on. Evening meal had a good choice and served efficiently. We had a room with a view of the golf course and lake so very relaxing. No fridge, coffee and tea making facilities and toiletries. Breakfast was good quality and hot apart from water for tea stored in a dispenser rather than boiling for a good cuppa. However asked for a tea pot and the waitress obliged. The hotel seems geared to corporate events but we enjoyed our stay and would return. Friendly receptionist who was very welcoming

Shout out to Eliot & the team who did everything they could to make it easy for my family with dietary restrictions & small fidgety children to get everyone fed – I’d never imagined I could feel so well looked after grabbing halfway-home chips on the motorway! 10/10 customer experience – and Eliot in particular deserves a raise.

It has been many months since i visited this pub with my wife and relatives and it has taken sometime to get over what could be the worst dining experience in my life. We chose the al la carte menu, minimum of four people, to get to the point the food was horrible, absolutely disgusting and a pathetic amateur attempt at providing a prestige service. I did take this up with the manager, after a very heated discussion when he failed to accept the blame, he went on the defensive and eventually tried to manipulate the situation to his advantage by accusing me of making threats against him. The Olde Coach House has never been a great pub and even after a refurb it still looks and feels dank, I felt sorry for my mother in law and her sister who paid the £180 bill, they were robbed, we all were.

Plenty of choice, hot and cold options. Plenty of tables which waiting staff kept up with, cleaning well between guests. Only disappointment were the cold mushrooms.

Food was amazing and service was great i will a hundred percent be back i loved the whole atmosphere lots of love llyod Xxxxxx

My god I stood in that queue for 20 mins while the person behind the counter made TWO coffees. There was a queue of people in front of me so I decided to leave as I only wanted to buy a couple of bottles of water after a run and it’d have taken me longer to get the drinks that it did to run the 10k around the reservoir. 😂

Fiancé ordered dinner as a surprise for my birthday. Ordered a couples meal and a complimentary dessert at 7pm. It's now over 10pm. Nothing from the restaurant. No updates, notifications, calls or emails. Tried calling the restaurant and it's constantly straight to voice mail. Cannot stress this enough. A V O I D ! absolutely dog sh!t service.
