The best restaurants in Newark and Sherwood East Midlands

Have used Wok Inn for years and loved food and service. This evening tried ordering a takeaway and was told prices gone up plus now delivery charge (never had before) Will find alternative

The worst take away I have ever seen in my life. Totally unhygenic cheap quality food, their pizza's are dipped in oil or margarine and it doesn't smell good either. This take away is very dangerous for your health say NO to this takeaway

Came here yesterday at rush hour with the family and went in to see that business was definitely booming it did take a while to get our food but I had a lovely fruity grimace shake and we got some overcooked chips and the lad at the till gave us some freshly new cooked ones for free and let us keep the old ones which were actually quite nice happy birthday grimace and I will recommend this to all the alphas around

The worst takeaway I’ve every received the kebab was abysmal the chips were like rubber it took over an hour to arrive they forgot my drinks all in all the food is pathetically bad the service was poor and I will never order from here again.

Mi esposa embarazada ordenó a las 6: 45 pm para 10 / 10 : 30 entrega. Teniendo en cuenta en NYE, lo cancelaron 21 : 50 . No hay razón. Tampoco es un aviso previo. Ridículo si me preguntas. Es triste que vayamos aquí regularmente. Si cogieran el teléfono, para ver si podemos entrar y recoger nuestro pedido, eso habría estado bien.

Disgusting, food is cold, pizza that was delivered was all mushed up in the box when I rang was told I could have a 10% discount or a replacement pizza which would take a hour. When looking at this pizza it put me off so of course I didn't want another one. I was hoping we would of been offered our money back but apparently not. I wouldn't even put a star if I didn't have to. The cans of pop is nice though, so at least you got something right!!

Very disappointed ordered from there for them to miss things and hair found within the food sky the team leader on shift had very bad attitude. Went up to complain for andy the cook to come out and have ago no apology no hair nets which is a requirement staff needs to be re trained

Absolutely terrible food. Re heated crispy duck, very dry and came with no lettuce. The pancakes for the duck were dry and broke when you tried to roll them. The salt and pepper wings basically dipped in curry sauce and deep fried. There wasn’t any salt, pepper, garlic or chilli present anywhere. The worst meal I have ever had, we ended up throwing it away and cooking ourselves. Avoid, save your money and find somewhere better.

dirty place,very rough.dirty floor, in need of a big spend on the place to update.cheap, but i would pay more for better.toilets very dirty, walls need a clean and paint. not a place to go, avoid.

Horrible experience yesterday No one on the till so after 5 mins I asked at the kitchen doorway if someone could take my order. I heard a lot of staff talking loudly in the kitchen After 30 mins I asked again at the doorway if my order was ready. Another lady stood at the side of me asking the same question. Staff didn't know the food on the pass was ours. It was cold so I complained and said I would speak to the manager Then the trouble began this managrer (?) Said is it about the jacket potato. I said yes it was cold due to the staff leaving it and talking at the back. I said 8 tables in half an hr remained dirty inc my own. She started shouting at me in front of customers saying I was calling her staff lazy. She ket shouting. Well with no tables cleared and not busy it's obvious who was right. I walked away as she kept shouting losing her temper. Not a suitable person to face customers Why is this happening when these poor reviews started last year in Sept and April and May this year Why is a volatile and bad-tempered person in charge still Same reviews, cold food poor service Disgusting, avoid if possible Staff could have cleared tables on the way back from delivering food to tables. I had travelled 60 miles roubd trip and am disabled. Pathetic and awful

forgot crisps, had no bread, my sprite was sparkling water and had to wait an extra 10 minutes for my subway to be a wrap instead of on italian bread. do not recommend

Pre-ordered a local butchers delivery and paid online. Transaction cleared fine my end , their online card system (STRIPE) did not release money in time to butcher, therefore my order was declined. Have been chasing my refund since April. Have had lots of excuses,apologies, promises of a refund which I am still yet to recieve. Excuses including -receptionist doesn't work weekends, they inputted my bank details in wrong for refund, refunds take so many days to clear under their new banking systems. *under a new company now CW Enterprises, they are seeing my messages, emails and not replying. Ive asked Get My Food to sort, who have responded to emails having seen, but they can't do anything their end and the hold up is with the new company apparently which is ran by secret partners AVOID .... Dodgy , lots of unhappy customers not receiving orders , orders late etc Not much hope for a refund ... but I'll just make sure my reviews of this company are known far and wide
