Proper cosy pub with lots of dogs , real friendly atmosphere, real ale, good view outside, occasional live music, blazing log burner, telly for the footy, pool table /dart board and even a digital jukebox. absolutely the full package. easily my favourite pub in the country

We ordered 2 desserts at the weekend as a treat - apple pie and custard and Malteser and flake waffle. Both absolutely first class. So tasty. We’ve ordered other desserts before and will continue to do so. Would highly recommend. Nice helpful staff.

Lovely Italian restaurant, food is cooked and presented beautifully and the service is excellent. Special thanks to Evie for being fantastic with our friend’s daughter!

visited today (12th Jan) for Sunday lunch for my sisters birthday. just to say the food was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly the only downside was due to the larger portions we had no room for pudding will definitely be going again many thanks Mr friend 👍

Great place for roasts, I like the option to be able to choose 3 different cuts at an affordable price. Service is good too and fast.
