On the positive side, service was kind and wine pairings were excellent, with very generous pours and generally good food portions. Decor choices created a relaxed and comfortable vibe. The venison course was exceptional and the risotto flavourful. On the critical side, though, some of the courses were a bit of a miss. The scallop, drowned in hollandaise and coated with a soggy spinach and bacon pile, was almost as disappointing as the very basic (and single bite of) tortellini. Service was variable. Excellent attention to some details, such as napkin folding and cutlery replacement. But lacking in warmth and connection elsewhere: I would have expected a bit more of a welcome and introduction to the menu, for example, or a suggestion to order an aperitif. On the whole, our experience was comfortable, but it missed the mark for full-blown fine dining, while still being too formal for a more relaxed, upmarket bistro. And though for the range of food I suppose it was objectively of good value, I felt we paid a bit more than was merited in the end.

Increíble bar con personal amable, gran variedad de bebidas y música en vivo. Este fue nuestro lugar antes y después cuando en un concierto en Rock City. ¡Ojalá pudiera recogerlo y trasladarlo a Newcastle! Si de vuelta en Nottingham sin duda volveremos a visitar! 🤘

The best fast food I've ever had! Exceptional treatment, originality and elegance! It is worth going to see this place and try the wings, wraps or desserts they make! All homemade and delicious! Even the coffee tastes better there and, quality - price, unbeatable! If you pass through Nottingham, go eat there, you won't regret it, 100% recommended!

These are a god sent good people

Mi compañero de trabajo tuvo una ensalada de aquí el día antes de ir y parecía increíble. Me decidí a probarlo. Estoy contenta de haberlo hecho. Fui en mi camino al trabajo, así que alrededor de las 7: 30 de la mañana. El tranquila y agradable. La señora fue muy amable, educado y servicial. Le preguntó que quería carne de pollo - Pollo simple, coronación y muchos más. La variedad de ensaladas disponibles es extremadamente grande. Puede seleccionar lo que desea salir de la selección de ensaladas o todo.Hay una pequeña zona de asientos, sin embargo estaba tomando, así que me tomó un gran contenedor de plástico con una ensalada y huevo completo incluido si quería duros.Yo tenía un poco de todo por 3 libras. 50 (precio correcta en el momento de escribir esta reseña).Sin duda volveremos y lo recomiendo encarecidamente que lo intentes y dígales a sus amigos! ! ! ! ! !

My twin brother Stephen and I were staying in Nottingham for five nights and stopped in the Premier Inn along Goldsmith Street, a few minutes walk from our hotel was Print Shop Cafe. A nice modern cafe ,neat and tidy, light and airy, we ordered a cappuccino coffee each, these were served in excellent condition being steaming hot, from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee served, it was just so good being out and about again in this vibrant city We enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and for a first time to Print Shop Cafe we were totally impressed,which is easily found along Goldsmith Street.

Staying in the Premier Inn along Goldsmith Street this cafe was only a few minutes walk, a beautiful cafe,the interior is opulent, lovely decor and furnishings including plenty of seating options, staff here superb, went here a couple of times on our stay in Nottingham ,on both visits we ordered cappuccino's which were superbly presented and steaming hot, from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee ☕ they serve, its most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area and easy to locate along Goldsmith Street.

Fuimos allí en una oferta wowcher. muy impresionados con la calidad del bien fresco y sabroso. El personal era muy servicial en recomendar platos. Sin duda volveremos. Creo que tiene un poco de una crisis de identidad, no es un restaurante y definitivamente no es una comida para llevar. En cualquier caso, es encantador, moderno, limpio y acogedor, con un precio razonable y bien merece una visita!

The food quality was Okish, the portion size could be a bit larger. We ordered multiple dish and liked the Fesenjan more.

I finished my food in 30 seconds and got straight onto my laptop to review it, the food was that good. The couple that own Happy House were so friendly and lovely and their food is amazing. Won't be going anywhere else in Nottingham after trying here. Best Chinese in Nottingham by far!

I walked in with my 3 year old son and just got stares and looks from 2 ladies. Waiting for a table but just being ignored and I felt like I was an invisible ghost. Will not be going there back again. Thanks
