Lovely dinner with friends at the George. It’s beautifully done and the food was delicious. Amazing service, particularly in accommodating our spoon selection 😀

Had an awesome roast dinner here today. Sharing platter which easily fed 2 adults and 2 children (with leftovers for two hungry and knackered dogs!) The meats were cooked to perfection and the veg was packed with flavour. Lovely presentation. Will definitely be back.

I just wanted to say that bearing in mind it was incredibly busy last night, with online bookings, walk-ins and phone bookings all battling for a timeslot as to when food would be ready, I truly didn't mind the 35 minute wait, because the food was outstanding. I'm vegan and had the tofu with blackbean sauce, mixed veg with cashews and some spring rolls and it couldn't have been more tasty and well cooked. The 2 ladies on the desk taking food orders were polite and calm and you could hear the kitchen was cooking as quick as they possibly could. Wow what can I say I spend so much money in nero and I go every day. I have never been spoken to like this ever. It was disgusting and all customers heard. He was busy and I did ask for take away cup. So I went to help myself he needs a different job. Glasses bout 5ft 10 dark hair. Absolutely dreadful. Food and service were appalling. We went for Christmas lunch and will NEVER EVER go again We ordered champagne, it was brought to our table unopened and left for us to open it. Not poured for us. No chance to taste Not asked how we’d like steak cooked. It was almost raw Had to ask for water. No ice. No salt and pepper Had to ask for sauces Some staff in casual clothing and even sportswear I could go on but frankly it’s pointless, I just suggest you go somewhere else. There are plenty of similar reviews on here and things are not improving

Opened up again - just drinks so far up until new year. Such nostalgia walking back in - clean and had its old vibe!! Sooooo pleased.

What can I say…. Perfect ever time!

This company had a stall selling coffee and pastries at Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. They took the payment and then I realised there was a 20 minute wait for two coffees and a pastry which cost over £12 and the coffee was horrible. Muddy, weak and tasteless. I asked them to redo it, which one of the guys did, however, it was still weak and tasteless even with half the water. I was told to wait to complain to the manager but when he eventually came he was rude and refused to give me a refund. Other people in the queue were also unhappy and someone else brought their drink back as well. I said I would post a review and he said he didn’t care as he had sold thousands of coffees. Terrible service and coffee and the manager is arrogant. Avoid this company if you can

I get inordinately excited when I arrive at the Co-op to find the ridiculous revolving door out of action, or the fire door sneakily open. Otherwise, a rather magnificent store for little Rutland, with a good range of products and excellent staff and service.

Lovely pub. Very good service. Called in for breakfast to be welcomed by a roaring fire. Perfect on a chilly morning.

Really nice cakes and milkshakes and friendly service. Lovely decor and fairly priced. Great addition to Oakham. Highly recommend.

Authentic Turkish kebabs and wraps. Very impressed! Large portions and delicious marinated meat. Pizzas are quite packed with ingredients and also tasty. I recommend the lamb wrap and the sish kebabs. Will defenetly order again!
