The best restaurants in Breckland East of England

Came in here tonight, me and wife. Man, who served us so funny and so polite. We did spin the wheel, lol. We won a cake and a discount on the drink he cake in the bag so could take it home. We used to go to one further into Norwich, but staff like him we be changing and coming here. And I love me, santa Cup. 16/1/25

Started using these this year and not had a bad meal yet, the kids who are quite fussy enjoy the food, portion sizes are good, not overall greasy, curry sauce is one of the best we've had. Quite a basic menu but everything you need from a chippy

Best Chinese in town. We've tried them all and Jade Garden is head and shoulders above the rest.

Just ordered a pizza and garlic bread from this place and it was terrible! I've ordered food from here many times and am a repeat customer. It had so much grease on and under the pizza that I thought John Travolta was gonna jump out and start singing about his chills and the garlic bread was soggy to the point of being wet. My partner called Pizza Plus and asked politely for a refund as we are not going to soggy garlic bread and soggy oily pizza. The manager after offering fresh food and our refusal (he said that was his position) literally shouted over my partner, would not let her speak and at first refused to provide written proof that we would receive a refund. This left my partner very anxious and quite literally shocked at the way he treated her. This is the worst customer service I have ever received and will advise everyone not to order food from this place as they have no respect for their customers. I will be paying a visit to the shop in the near future to speak with the manager and find out why he thinks it's appropriate to shout at female customers over the phone.

Very Disappointing. I had the Roast Pork although cooked OK it was cold and tasteless. The roast potatoes and cauliflower I couldn't eat tasted old and reheated. In fact I left half my dinner . The Brownie for dessert and ice cream was the best part although tiny amount of ice cream for the price .No sauce and no imagination in presentation. The room we sat in was freezing cold .We live in the village and it's such a shame not to be able to use our local as it doesn't give us any inspiration to go back or recommend.

We visited the pub today for food and a drink. Absolutely loved it! Not only were the staff great, attentive, kind and friendly, but the food and drink selection was excellent. We didn't stay over in one of the rooms, but I'm sure they're fab. Beautiful old thatched building with modern clean loos. This is exactly what a friendly village pub should be, wonderful people, food and beer! Go along, you won't be disappointed.

It just fast food nothing fancy

Will not return. Firstly, my starter came with meat (which i began eating!🤢🤮) & I am VEGETARIAN. (Waitress didnt pay attention) What if i had a serious allergy!!???!! THiS IS SIMPLY NOT GOOD ENOUGH.!! Some veggie spring rolls were brought to appease me. They were full of a nasty tasting mush. Then my main course came.,,,, all I could taste was fish!!!! The cashew nuts were substituted with peanuts (fleece garden 😆) The egg fry rice was OK but all I really enjoyed was my vodka lemonade.

This is a lovely pub...greeted by friendly staff and a nice logburner with high back chairs to sit in.....reason for our visit was to celebrate birthdays, the menu choices are good and very reasonable, would recommend the sausage & mash, battered cod &chips and sticky toffee pudding 😋 Steven our host was very brilliant at remembering what we all ordered...and played a fanfair birthday when he brought out the cake.. Nice touch 😁 we all appreciated it....👍 Will defo come again here as its well worth the money. Thank you for acomidating us all....kind regards

Waited 20 minutes for food to be served despite appearing to be very quiet. Server did apologise for delay, apparently caused by staff shortages!

Excellent place to eat or stay. We were here overnight with our dog and staff were lovely and food second to none. Both dinner and breakfast can be recommended. Can’t wait to return.

Food cold, ordered for 7.10 and arrived at 6.30 before my partner was home bloody useless
