The best restaurants in Coleridge Cambridge East of England

Chips cold, fish red hot, regular haddock is tiny, the lady serving had a bad cough and then litterly picked up the chicken with her bare an served it, WILL NOT BE USING AGAIN

My goodness do not waste your money at Nandos the price like seriously I ordered a chicken burger came with two large fries 20 quid on the menu it said that the the burger is big anyway they brang me my food and I was like what in the hell is this it's bloody tiny I told them this is false advertising saying the burger is big on there menu yet it was tiny wasn't impressed well never again!!!!! Pathetic and sad!!!!

I was there with a big group and we shared several dishes: every single one of them was delicious. We had deep fried mixed seafood, prawns with black bean sauce, aubergine, cabbage, kung pao chicken and smoked chicken. Some of the best Chinese food I've had in Cambridge.

Delivery was excellent, however subway itself was awful. I asked for cheese and bacon ( and paid for it!) and got neither

Banging Sunday roast, glorious coffee, outstanding cakes, a world of beautiful plants, an overly tempting shop of gifts and wares AND a Christmas market. What more can you ask for?

The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the burger was really greasy and tasteless. The fries were average. The meal also had an awful smell that lingered on my clothes. Considering the price, this is possibly the worst meal I've ever had without getting ill.

It's okay, some of the food was a little cold but a lot of it was nice. The lady at the front desk is always rude whenever we visit and for this reason after it happening a couple of times now we won't return. It's very expensive now too.

Khan was lovely and the food was great!

I’ve been to many Costa and the service I had in most of them was honestly quite good - much better than Starbucks and Nero. This one is no exception and probably has the best service I’ve seen in a long time in a cafe. The staff is always patient, especially when customers spilled their drinks (me but not only me!), they would quickly come to help wipe it off. When tables are messy, they also very quickly come to clean upon requesting. The atmosphere is great! Many tables with sockets, and the temperature’s just right. I love spending an afternoon working here. I won’t comment on the food and drinks cuz I normally don’t expect much from Costa lol

Lovely food but terrible customer service. Very gluten free friendly menu but the staff made me feel as though I was a huge inconvenience for having coeliac disease. The lady serving us was incredibly rude, when we were trying to figure out where an extra £6 on our bill had come from she gave us no help and told us to just split it. And although we had booked a table we were completely ignored by the staff. So all 9 of us were stood around feeling like we were in the way for far too long considering we’d booked in. Just overall really rude staff, don’t think I’ll be coming back. Which is a shame because the food was lush.

Just wanna give some credit where it’s due. I haven’t tried EVERY pizza place in Cambridge. But from what I have tried, and to my tastes, this is probably the best. This is maybe my third time trying pizza 1889? It’s simple, thin enough, not too doughy, baked well with a crispy bottom and crispy crust, it doesn’t flop everywhere! And it tastes good. It’s not trying too hard like some other places, (no disrespect). It’s a surprising conclusion, since a shipping container outside the light cinema isn't what you’d expect to be the best, but it’s true. Dave wouldn’t go crazy with the score, but I think it’d be respectable. We are in Cambridge after all haha. For context I always get takeaway here, my review does not reflect dining at the container itself, (the prospect of which I’m not particularly attracted by).
