The best restaurants in Market Cambridge East of England

Me, deano, smiffy and big john decided to take a cheeky gander at this pub back in summer during the heatwave after a few pints at the regal. First thing I noticed as we wuz walking up is 3 fit birds in tight leggings so already off to a grate start. We ordered sum beers and they came quite quickly, proper fancy european beer or sumthin, (smiffy dont like strong beer, makes him sloshed haha what a ledge) after we then got some snacks and weird cheesy food came (I dont like fancy food, just give me a pizza or some cheips instead of that foreign muck). Anyway two lads started fighting after they realised they were both wearin the same river island t-shirt and got the mick takin outta them, hahaha ledge

I wasn’t that familiar with the place or how to properly order, but all the staff were super helpful and friendly with getting me up to speed and then checking how I felt about my food. Definitely worth a good try.

I went to Five Guys in Cambridge at 18 Market Passage, Cambridge CB2 3PA, around 1:30 pm on the 16th of January, and had an unusual bad experience. I’ve tried five guys in Madrid/Barcelona and they are just great everywhere, matching the reviews hanging on the wall. But this Five Guys was a disappointment, the meat was very poor, with the quality below the bad fast food chains, had even a strange flavour and the fries were amazingly over salted. I could even finish the meal, and the person with me couldn’t either. Such a disappointment from one of my favourites places to eat every time I travel.

The food is decent, though nothing remarkable—just what you'd expect from an Italian chain. However, the service was disappointing. It felt like the staff couldn't care less about the customers, unless perhaps you were one of their 'favorites.' When they got my order wrong, there wasn’t even a hint of an apology. This will be my last visit to Bella Italia.

Just realised I got charged £13.60 for donner chips and a can of coke….

Everything was great. Only to find out as we were leaving that new ownership will be serving Italian cuisine.

Not bad..curry is good, fish cake is tadty...they also have a choice of beer

Had a fabulous meal here with friends. Our first visit and certainly won’t be our last. The curry and spicy curry were both delicious, as was everything else our friends had. Informal casual atmosphere, attentive helpful staff and great food made for a great pre-concert experience. Will be back.

The staff were amazing I came here about 10days ago, I had a seizure and the staff were amazing, didn't judge did all they could to help and knew what to do. Offered me a drink and something to eat and made sure I was safe before they left me with my friend.

Fui aquí para el desayuno y fue increíble. Grandes ingredientes y encantador y caliente. Chance, el servidor era excelente gran servicio al cliente y muy amable. Lewis el chef fantástica cocina volveré.

Bueno, así que este pub sirve algunos de los mejores alimentos italianos que he probado, PERO casi tuvimos que rehipotecar para pagar la cuenta... un gin tonic y una pinta era £ 19. 50 ! ! El ambiente era increíble (viernes por la noche) y nos gustó mucho este lugar, pero los precios significaban que solo nos alojamos para una bebida. La comida no era lo que uno esperaría en un pub, pero era INCREÍBLE. Auténticos platos de pasta italiana, arancini, etc. con tanta profundidad de sabor. Qué pena lo de los precios o hubiera dado 5 estrellas...

I hafe to leave bad reviews, but these cookies are truly overrated. £10+ for 4 cookies which are only marginally better than supermarket ones at a tenth of the price. I would not recommend i’m afraid

Definitely the best Taiwanese street food restaurant in the town.
