This is our third time here at the Earl of Derby. The city can be reached on foot in half an hour and by bus from the nearby train station in 15 minutes. Friendly owners who welcomed us warmly and also responded to requests for changes. A good selection of beer and cider. The Full English Breakfast morning is also recommended. The rooms in the neighboring building are ok and you don't hear anything from the main street nearby! Own parking space secured with a barrier.

Aquí usted pide comida, la recibe y paga en una pequeña porción de un mostrador. Cuando visitamos al menos 4 personas estaban 'trabajando' detrás del mostrador. Enfrente si éramos 12 personas sin embargo tuvimos que hacer cola 20 minutos para el servicio. La comida estaba lista, el personal era casi incapaz de servirla. Y no escucharon las solicitudes, lo que significa que varias personas tenían comida proporcionada que no era lo que pedían. Después de que finalmente te sirvan, entonces tienes que quitar las bolsas de té, agregar leche, etc. en un lugar pequeño justo a la salida del área de srving. Si alguien detrás de ti ha tenido la suerte de ser servido, entonces se quedan atrapados detrás de ti mientras haces malabares con tu bandeja, tazas y leche. Me sorprendería si hay una manera de exponer este lugar peor, o tener un servicio menos capaz.

AWFUL AWFUL SERVICE. I went to the Costa 40 hills road cambridge to use the toilet as I’ve just come from another Costa downed my drink on the way and funnily enough needed the Loo after being on a train! Always loved Costa and the service, but no, not here. I asked politely to use the toilet and got told ‘it’s for customers’, I’ve spent all my money on Christmas shopping I didn’t need to spend more on another food or drink item I didn’t need just to use the toilet, I suffer with anxiety and using somewhere I feel comfortable and am familiar with is important to me. I feel disheartened by the situation I found myself in, and wish to bring light to this situation as I now feel embarrassed to ask for a simple human right. This is horrible to admit but it has also tainted my view of the company and their policy along with morale and common decency. I hope you can get back to me privately. If you wish to take this further I would be obliged. Reply with details for contact as I have also messaged your instagram. And commented. I appreciate this should not be an issue to respond to, however I feel extremely frustrated by this situation.

Over the weekend, my family and I visited a branch that we had been looking forward to, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We placed our order using the device, which felt impersonal and reminded us of fast-food chains like McDonald's. When our order arrived, the waiter abruptly requested the number placard back, which felt rushed. To our surprise, two of the items we received were not what we had ordered. For example, we ordered a chocolate croissant muffin but received a cinnamon croissant instead. Additionally, one of the cake slices we wanted was unavailable, and we ended up with a cookie instead. We were disappointed that we couldn’t get a refund or a suitable substitute for the cake slice. The latte was not frothey and the cappuccino was cold, Overall, this visit didn’t meet our expectations, and we feel it may be best for us to explore other locations in the future. It seems this branch may need to work on its service and menu consistency.

Grubby plastic marque. Drinks took ages to come out, cocktails were underwhelming, small menu (which is fine, but they didn't have everything on it). Starters came out but olives and nuts we ordered didn't come - eventually (when everyone had finished their starters), a grubby bowl of olives came out but they had no nuts! Wine was expensive for what it was. Mains dribbled out, rather than all coming together, rare steak wasn't rare, food wasn't particularly hot. Tiny risotto. We had pudding and a couple of us ordered what we were told was homemade Bailey's ice cream with a chocolate fondant - it turned out to be bay leaf ice cream, which didn't go particularly well! Had some more underwhelming and overpriced cocktails in the bar. Woke up this morning feeling hard done by and then read a text from one of our party asking if I thought we should complain. Really disappointing and certainly not what you'd expect from an upmarket central Cambridge hotel. Won't be heading back.

La comida debería haber sido maravillosa, pero estaba fría como una piedra y entregada por otro conductor de entrega arrogante y grosero. Llevando su moto a través de un puente peatonal. Cuando se le preguntó, se encogió de hombros y dijo que lo entendió, ¿no es así? FRÍO. . incluso después de que no cumplió 10 minutos violando la ley. Estoy seguro de que a la galleta de la fortuna le encantaría saber qué tan malo es el servicio de entrega y qué tan terrible es su servicio al cliente de respaldo. Me quejé y me dijeron que "se entregó a tiempo, en una bolsa aislada") Aun estaba frio pero no les importa . Buena comida. ¡Recógelo tú mismo, ya que los repartos son horribles y no les importa!
