The best restaurants in Dacorum East of England

Wow what an amazing Christmas day dinner. We booked in October to take family for the Christmas day 3 course meal and it was amazing. You had a selection of choices for Starter/Main/Desserts and accommodated for vegans. We sat down at table and within 10 mins approx We had the Starters come out and it was beautiful and Carla and the team were like a well oiled machine not rushing things but that it come out giving you a few mins between courses. The Turkey dinner was amazing right portion and not under but not overloaded on plate and offered more gravy even though there was plenty and a family member ordered extra which some of our other family members shared. We had a breather between mains and desserts and the staff including Jordan still asked if we was ready yet for dessert so didn't just bring out after a few mins. Overall what a brilliant day made even better by Carla and her team being attentive,checking back all was OK and there was no rushing to get you out. Well done to Carla Jordon and the rest of the team at the Top Of The World and was a really decent price for a 3 course meal and will definitely be back. Nice place, friendly staff, pleasant garden area at rear (when it is open)

I popped for a beer and found out it was 80's night at the pub. So I decided to stick around. The bar staff where in fancy dress (Mario and Luigi) and some of the punters were as well. Great Lady DJ playing 1980's Bangers...I thought I was 20 again! Check the pubs website for up and coming events. They also do great food at reasonable prices & of course Sunday lunch. Kids and dogs welcome with a Very large beer garden backing onto the canal. If you are passing by on the canal it's a great place to moore up and get some food/Drinks! (Right by lock 69 Nash Mills)

Good pizza , just hard to work out when the are doing food or not ?

We entered the store today and asked for two bagels we were told by the man in the video that he wasn’t serving and that we should ask one of his colleagues. He clearly did not want to serve us a white woman and an Asian man entered and he served them both from the bakery section, which is next to the bagels. This man did not want to serve us based on whatever prejudices he had but chose to serve other people do not want to come here again if people are not treated the same.

Over priced , asked for salt and vinegar and he put it all over the sausage and none on the chips

Used to be a great pub for the working man, but if the new management hear you saying you're voting for reform you get instantly barred and called a racist which couldn't be further from the truth. When confronted about this management all of a sudden are not available and the poor girl behind the bar is left to deal with the management's outrageous decision. Take your hard earned money else where.

We had a scrumptious roast dinner with bottom less wine, on a Tuesday!! Such a treat. Huge portions. The owners were super friendly. Cosy with a roaring open fire. Highly recommended!!

First time eating here and absolutely loved it. Very relaxed atmosphere and environment. Not your normal restaurant as in table cloths etc has an Indian street food vibe. I cannot fault anything, the service was excellent and so was the food, waiter was very knowledgeable and gave us recommendations and advice. Will definitely be returning.

Just tried to order says closed …when it says 4pm to 12am rediculous

Service is excellent, but the coffee is truly awful.

Unwelcome staff,tried to have lunch but encounted a rather hostile approach,we chose to have lunch elesware.

Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, received over fried batter, no chicken at all, mentioned this to waitress not interested. Wouldn’t recommend or return.
