The best restaurants in East Cambridgeshire East of England

An old local when I lived in Ely and still a lovely pub to visit. Good beer and a friendly landlord. Lovely memories of a real pub that didn't have the smell of food throughout. Just my type of pub.

Very enjoyable Sunday afternoon meal in this chic eaterie. Good menu with lots of variety and vegetarian choices, shame some dishes not available on a Sunday. We were told one of the meals was mild but it was so spicy sister in law couldn't eat it, resolved by the staff with no fuss at the time. Pil pil prawns were so good! Like most places now it is expensive and drinks really push the bill up but for a one off as a celebration it was nice.

What a nice landlord. Go in and support him. Very friendly to walkers too let's you pick a tent out back for a night.

Popped in on a lunchtime for a swift Old Speckled Hen, which was in superb condition. Lovely, friendly village pub.

Recently reopened. Lovely little pub with good food and the usual choice of drinks.

Service was very friendly but restaurant was a bit cool as was the food.

We were in Soham whilst passing by and we went here for dinner. It was fantastic!! A proper locally owned place with lovely people. The food was amazing, so tasty and the wine tasted fantastic. I honestly think this place is a hidden gem and I really recommend this place for food and drink.

Our usual eatery in Ely. Even though very busy the service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious as usual with a good selection. Vaida, our server did a fabulous job.

What a gem. You must visit Peacocks in Ely. It have a wonderful host. He make me very welcome and a pleasure to meet. I will certainly be back.

No food available unfortunately

The service in the cafe was excellent on a very busy pre-Christmas Saturday. The ladies serving really had it sorted and drinks and food dispensed very efficiently and with a smile too. Other farm shop cafes could learn a thing or two here.

Excellent cafe. Nice dog friendly section. Food is wonderful. Farm shop is lovely and the Christmas barn in December is amazing
